I currently work from home part-time and manage my own schedule, which means my world is your doggie’s oyster! I am available most days for house sitting, drop-ins, and walks. Because I control my calendar, I can offer your pets a level of consistency and attention that fits their specific routine.

🏠My Home Stewardship Standards: • Detailed Routine: I follow your schedule to a T. Does your pup get a "goodnight" treat? Do they prefer the blinds open or closed? • Cleanliness: I leave your home exactly as I found it—dishes done, trash out, and linens handled. • Security: I am meticulous about checking locks and setting alarms every time I step out. • Updates: Expect 2-3 high-quality photo/video updates daily so you can travel with total peace of mind. 🦮 Dog Walking & Safety My priority is a walk that is both safe and fun. I treat every outing with professional-level care: • The Gear Check: I always double-check the fit of harnesses and collars before stepping out the door. • Environment Awareness: To prevent reactivity, I avoid "nose-to-nose" greetings with unknown dogs. Safety first! • Post-Walk Care: Every walk includes a fresh water refill and a "paws and belly" wipe-down on rainy days. • Pace & Personality: For shy dogs, I move at their pace. If they want to hide, I’ll sit quietly nearby; if they want to play, I’m ready with arms wide open!
Information Rachel C. would like to know about your pet
I treat your home and your pets with the highest level of care and security. To provide a "priceless" experience and ensure I am the perfect fit, please provide the following details: 1. Health & Essentials • Medical: Current medications (dosage/frequency), allergies, or existing injuries? • Safety: Is your pup an escape artist or prone to separation anxiety? Are they crate trained? • Supplies: Where do you keep the leash, food, and cleaning supplies? 2. Behavior & Routine • The Walk: Typical duration and their behavior on a leash (any reactivity to dogs, squirrels, or strangers? Are they a puller or walk nicely?) • Food/Potty: Specific feeding times and their "I need to go" cues. Do they have “tantrum” poops when you leave for a couple hours? Frequent accidents? • Quirks: Any resource guarding (toys/food), noise sensitivities, or "pica" (eating non-food items)? 3. Overnight & Logistics • Sleeping: Where do they sleep (crate, bed, or their own "nest")? Is this the first time you’ve left them with a sitter for travel? How do they behave without you? • Access: Please confirm home access details (codes/keys) and alarm instructions. 4. Emergency Protocol • Contacts: Your preferred Vet and a local emergency contact person. • Authorization: Do you have a card on file with your vet, and what is your pre-authorized budget for emergency care?
A typical day
I’m a strong advocate for walks and hikes. But all dogs are not created equal. You know your pup best. Short strolls or long treks…It’s up to you:) Physical activity leads to a happy, healthy and content pooch. I can “win” a round of tug-of-war any day of the week. If I can find what amps your pupper up for a round of zoomies, that’s an added bonus. Last but certainly not least, snuggles…lots of snuggles.

🏳️🌈 LGBTQIA+ BIPOC ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿Friendly | Hiker | Senior Dog Specialist Hi, I’m Rachel! As an avid hiker and lifelong canine lover, I believe a tired dog is a happy dog. Whether your furry friend is a "zoomie" expert or a gentle soul who prefers a slow sniff around the park, I provide more than just a walk—I provide a dedicated playmate. Why choose me? • Senior Care Expert: Extensive experience with geriatric dogs and precise administration of oral medications. • Shelter Trained: My background includes years of walking dogs at Spokane animal shelters, handling all temperaments and needs. • Peace of Mind: I am committed to your dog’s happiness and your home's security. You are paying for the confidence that all of the above are in expert hands. Simply “priceless.” 🏠 House Sitting Services PLEASE message me before booking. To ensure the best fit, we will determine which tier of care your dog requires. I will adjust the booking rate manually based on these needs. 🐕 Standard Care ($95/night): For independent pups who can be safely left alone for 6-8 hours at a time and are fully house-trained. No history of aggressive behavior or incontinence. 🐕 Enhanced Care ($155/night): This is the "middle ground" for seniors or high-energy dogs. This tier is required for dogs who need potty breaks every 3–4 hours, have a high-energy "zoomie" requirement, or require routine oral medications or other medical needs. 🐕 Constant Care ($295/night): For doggos with high separation anxiety or complex medical needs requiring 24/7 supervision. We can finalize this during our meet-and-greet. *NOTE* I want to provide the best possible care for your pet’s needs. Because pets with mild incontinence or occasional accidents require extra 'paws-on' attention and cleanup, these bookings are processed at my Enhanced Care rate. For pets needing more intensive support with medium to severe incontinence or accidents, my Constant Care rate ensures they get the around-the-clock attention they deserve. 🚨To ensure the safety of your pet, myself, and the community, I DO NOT accept bookings for dogs with a history of human aggression or biting. 🚨For dogs with leash reactivity (barking/lunging at other dogs), a mandatory trial period is required. This consists of a minimum of [2-3] paid walks or drop-in visits before any house-sitting service is confirmed. This allows me to establish a safe bond and ensure I can independently handle them in all situations 🚨For the protection of your pet and myself, I require all dogs to have an up-to-date rabies vaccine. Please provide a copy of their rabies certificate before our start date. The only exceptions I accept are: Puppies: Too young for the vaccine (typically under 4 months). Medical Waivers: A signed letter from your vet stating the vaccine is medically contraindicated for your pet.
