About: I have dog sat multiple times for family friends, usually 3 dogs at a time, no problem. The owners always return to their dogs being happy and healthy. I am self employed now so I am very flexible and will be available pretty much all day to take care of your fur babies. I am very flexible caring for your animals in whatever way you’re most comfortable with and whatever ways work well for your fur baby.

About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. I'm missing my animal friends, and am ready to help with yours! I'm experienced and mature, conscientious, reliable and careful, with the same high expectations for myself that you have. I understand the importance of good relationships with anyone you bring into your pet's life - both for your pet and for you - and building relationships and community is what I most loved about my dog walking business. My schedule is quite flexible! Being retired definitely opens up my availability, and I aim to be as accommodating and helpful as possible to meet your pet's needs. Safety and privacy are important priorities, and I am always respectful of both. I have years of experience accessing clients' homes and caring for their pets - more than 250 pets over the years - without any problems. I am professional and experienced, with a proven record.

About: I've had dogs all of my life, numerous breeds and energy levels. I've personally owned a Golden Retriever and now a Bernese Mountain Dog. I used to run dogs in college and I fell in love with dogs, so I thought why not get exercise with a furry friend by my side! I can work with various leashes/collars/harnesses, etc. I've trained dogs with basic commands and potty training. I would love for your dog to come meet us and our Bernese! I have a Bernese Mountain pup, so between working full time and raising kids, making sure my little not so little pup gets exercise and a lot of sniffing everyday is extremely important and has become a fixture in our schedule. Teddy is fully vaccinated and can provide proof, so no need to worry! I ran and walked dogs in college for 2 years and I loved it. I've had numerous dogs in my life time and I make sure the dog is comfortable and ready to enjoy the time with us! This stay be a dogs most enjoyable time of the day, so making it fun especially with our Berner while getting to the point is crucial. Whatever piece of equipment like leash, harness, collar or piece of walking equipment you prefer for your dog I will work with. Comfortability is huge for pups/dogs. Crate would be preferred if not potty trained. I can let pups out to pee during the night. We want your dogs stay to be the best and would be grateful for your trust in us!

Brooklyn did a great job taking care of my kitty when I had to go out of town on short notice. She was wonderful to work with, her attention to detail and communication skills are top notch. My shy cat quickly warmed up to her after a few visits. This shows that Brooklyn is great with animals, as my pet is very selective about who she trusts. I look forward to booking with Brooklyn again and I would highly recommend her to others looking for a pet sitter.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life; everything from dogs and cats to chickens, guinea pigs, and even goats. I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10, and neighbors, friends, and family have always counted on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like they were my own. My experience spans many breeds and temperaments, and I take pride in being patient, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals. My current work schedule is flexible so whether it’s week day walks or weekend drop ins, I’m flexible and ready to help whenever you need! I always treat pets with the same love and care I’d give my own. I prioritize safety, follow any instructions you provide closely, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for at all times.

About: Hi! I’ve always loved animals and grew up helping care for pets, so I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and giving each pet the patience and attention they need. Now that my husband and I have bought our first home, I’m excited to fill it with wagging tails and happy paws. I work from home on East Coast hours, so my afternoons are wide open for exercise, companionship, and plenty of one-on-one care. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and right at home. Working from home gives me the flexibility to fit my day around your pet’s routine. I work East Coast hours, so I start early (5:30am) and finish around 2 PM. Throughout the day, I have time for potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins, and my afternoons are open for walks, companionship, enrichment, and quality time together. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and secure. In my home, they’ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, a quiet, comfortable environment, and a walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks.

Miss Tiffany immediately bonded with our fussy old cat, Leo. She understood what he wanted and delivered copious pets, snuggles and treats for 12 days. The photos were a testament to his happiness. We couldn’t be happier with her service and most definitely will request her again should the need arise.

About: I have always been a lover of animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have previously worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 5 years, in both small and large animal practices. I have also had many of my own animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys and alpacas. Animals have always been a central part of my life. Due to my previous work as a licensed vet tech I am comfortable with administering medications or handling special care your animal may need. I have experience in caring for animals of all ages, including senior animals. Thank you for your time, I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I am currently a stay at home mom which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I am available to do most early mornings, afternoons, as well as evenings. I have been pet sitting off and on for the past 15 years. I try my best to match the routine your pets are accustomed to while they are in my care. I am also a very detail oriented person and make sure to keep things neat during my visits.

I can’t thank Molly enough! This was my first time using Rover, and I was nervous to have a stranger come to my house to check on the pup especially since I was out of town. Molly went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and even sent me pictures of my sweet girl to let me know that she made it and everything was ok. I will definitely be booking with Molly again!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Battle Ground stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Battle Ground choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Battle Ground with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Battle Ground. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
