Tashi is doing well! Looks forward to going to doggie daycare with Brianna. Today, he tried to sneak out to the car when I left! He loves being around the kids and other dogs. Thank you for taking great care of him!

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have taken care of all types of animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to take care of their animals, starting at a young age. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters. I also volunteered for an animal rescue for several years and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the pets at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, cats including puppies and kittens, seniors, and animals with medical needs. I currently work only about 5-8 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I will walk your dog twice a day, and can also take your pets on drives (with my pet seatbelt and/or car seat) if that's something you would like. Daily belly rubs are always included :) I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs. I will take up to 3 dogs at a time, if your dog loves to be social (My home is two-story, with multiple dog gates should your dog need a break also). If your dog prefers to be the only animal around, please let me know and I'll let you know if I can arrange that.

Emily & Eric took great care of our pups while we were visiting from out of town for a family Christmas party. We appreciate them being so accommodating with the festivities ending a little later than expected. Our fur babies were obviously very comfortable in their home because they are so calm in their crates in the car at the moment. We will definitely leave our girls with Emily and Eric again when we are back in Vancouver!

I used Araceli's day care for my boy! She had a few other pups in her care for him to play with (which was exactly what I was hoping for). He returned to me tail wagging and went right to sleep when we got home 😁

I was visiting my son in Camas,WA and needed daycare so we could spend time at Lake Merwin. I looked on Rover for daycare for my Goldendoodle and found Dana and Mark. They were very friendly, warm and welcoming. You can tell they love dogs. They have a beautiful, dog friendly backyard and even had a doggie pool! I loved the photos and videos they sent throughout the day. My dog was having so much fun, I wasn’t sure if he’d want to come back to the Airbnb with me. Finally, they were very accommodating when we picked up our dog later than expected! Dana and Mark are exceptional! I wish they were near my home in California Thank you for treating my fur baby as family!

About: I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels, and what truly sets me apart is that animals aren’t just part of my schedule—they’re part of my life. I’m self-employed, which means I have the flexibility to be fully present and attentive, and my own dog goes just about everywhere with me. Dogs are woven into my daily rhythm, not squeezed into it. I’m especially skilled at reading canine body language and meeting dogs where they are emotionally and physically. I have extensive experience with off-leash dogs and understand how to manage freedom safely through awareness, trust, and clear communication. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior dogs—moving at their pace, watching for subtle changes, and providing calm, steady support. Whether a dog is high-energy and adventurous or older and more reserved, I focus on building trust, respecting individual needs, and creating a calm, confident environment where they feel safe and understood. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. I’m self-employed, which gives me the flexibility to structure my days around the needs of the dogs in my care rather than fitting them into fixed blocks of time. My own dog is with me throughout the day, so caring for dogs is a constant, natural part of my rhythm. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to provide regular attention, timely walks, enrichment, rest breaks, and any special care a dog may need, whether that’s extra activity, medication, or a slower pace for seniors. I plan my schedule to ensure dogs are never rushed or left waiting and always receive consistent, attentive care. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, dogs have access to a spacious, fully enclosed ½-acre backyard with an 8-foot privacy fence, providing plenty of room to move, explore, and relax safely. Dogs have access to the yard through a dog door, allowing them to go in and out freely throughout the day based on their comfort level and routine. I use multiple baby gates and an external kennel to thoughtfully manage space and interactions. This allows me to separate dogs when needed, provide quiet time, or give individual dogs privacy and decompression breaks—always with my close attention and supervision. I can offer private space both indoors and outdoors, ensuring each dog has a calm, secure place to relax based on their comfort level and needs. I’m very attentive to group dynamics and individual personalities, adjusting supervision and space to ensure every dog feels safe, respected, and comfortable—whether they thrive on companionship or prefer a calmer, more structured environment.

I wish I could show all of the pictures and videos Shell sends while our dog Is with her for the day. Between play, awesome treats, and romping with her sweet puppy pals, we always know that Panda is being well cared for. I highly recommend Shell, not only for her great care, but also for her deep understanding of dogs and their needs. She has helped us and our dog so much since we started going 2 months ago.

About: Hello Rover friends! I am a stay at home mom and would love to help sit your pets in our home. I have an open schedule and a big yard! We have a 10 yr old Lab/germen Shepard mix who loves having play dates and having friends over at our home. We do not have a fenced yard but I can take your pup on plenty of walks in our yard! I have tons of time to take good care of your furry babies, we have a ton of space on our 2 acre lot to play with your pup and take them for walks. We have three adults in the house and 1 child, so plenty if supervision. My dog is has an electric collar so he has a boundary he does not cross, I keep dogs that are prone to be curious on a leash since my yard is not fenced. I keep dogs separated when eating.

Jared was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he was warm and welcoming to my pup, instantly putting us both at ease. Throughout the day, Jared kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which I truly appreciated. His communication was clear and thorough, and he even informed me promptly when my pup had a minor nosebleed. Knowing that Jared has a vet tech background gave me complete peace of mind, and I was confident that my pup was in safe and capable hands. I can't recommend Jared highly enough and am eager to use his services again in the future.

Brenlee loves other dogs and Yiwen sent pictures of Brenlee laying right next to her dog and walking with her dog - so the fact that they were that close means that he had a great day. Yiwen worked with me on the dropoff times which was great. Brenlee had so much fun he slept the whole way home.

About: My husband and I are life-long dog owners and dog lovers. We have an active lifestyle and can give your dog lots of attention and activity. I work part time from home and my husband works from home, so at least one of us is always here for potty breaks and mid-day walks and playtime. I love to run during the week and hike on weekends and would be happy to bring your dog along. We have a fenced yard and plenty of space in our home. Our 2 year old Weimaraner is extremely friendly and playful. We also have two daughters that adore dogs and will give lots of pets and cuddles.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Battle Ground

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Battle Ground on Rover is $27.29 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,757 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Battle Ground. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Battle Ground commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,757 sitters in Battle Ground, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
