I was initially very nervous to leave my dog with anyone since she had never been away from me, but the minute I was welcomed into Shell‘s home I knew that she was going to be OK. Shell and her son welcomed me with open arms into their home and continue to go above and beyond to make sure my pup and myself are happy. When I first got to their home Shell was very thorough in asking for anything she may need to know about Honey in order to make sure she is given the best care. She informed me that she makes meal toppers for the dogs including organic beef and duck gravy. She also assured me that she would never be left alone with a bigger dog that could hurt her. Shell does everything in her power to make sure that my dog has a great day. Every single day honey comes home exhausted and looks like she had a blast. I work late therefore I have to pick my dog up late and Shell always offers me cereal and cheesecake and really just welcomed me into her home. If you’re looking for doggy day care or pet sitting I highly highly highly recommend Shell. She’s fantastic in every way possible and I never have to stress about my dog being ok. Dogs have access to the yard through a dog door, allowing them to go in and out freely throughout the day based on their comfort level and routine. I use multiple baby gates and an external kennel to thoughtfully manage space and interactions. This allows me to separate dogs when needed, provide quiet time, or give individual dogs privacy and decompression breaks—always with my close attention and supervision. I can offer private space both indoors and outdoors, ensuring each dog has a calm, secure place to relax based on their comfort level and needs. I’m very attentive to group dynamics and individual personalities, adjusting supervision and space to ensure every dog feels safe, respected, and comfortable—whether they thrive on companionship or prefer a calmer, more structured environment.
