We communicated and met in person preemptive to my vacation…actually a few times, with exchange of the house key and care instructions. She kept in contact with me everyday and made sure I was aware of everything going on with the animals, plus she even cared for my trash cans, which was real convenient. About: Aside from my professional experience as a wildlife biologist and Oregon zoo employee I'm a life long lover of cats. Growing up with them has taught me the patience sometimes needed to truly understand and bond with them. “Alex is the best! We needed help with our three cats with very little scheduling notice, and Alex stepped up to help. He took notes while I went over their routine, and I could tell he took caring for them very seriously. He even agreed to bringing in our mail and watering some plants. One of our cats is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice daily, and she was also on an oral antibiotic. Alex updated us regularly about how the cats were doing, whether or not the diabetic cat was eating, and how feedings and medication administrations went. It really eased our anxieties with leaving our three cats with individual needs in the hands of someone so capable and trustworthy. Alex's professionalism and dedication to providing quality care for our cats and the house while we were gone allowed us to focus on what we needed to at that time. We will undoubtedly request his services for future cat care needs while we are away.”

About: Have always been surrounded by pets of my own (such as cats, dogs, rodents, birds, and reptiles), and have done pet sitting for dogs of all sizes for family friends over the years. I’m a stay at home girl with plenty of time on my hands that I’d like to spend doing what I love, which is caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While I do stay in an apartment, I have all the time to go for lots of walks and potty breaks. I live by a beautiful creekside trail that is simply perfect for taking long walks along. I have two cats. One of which is shy and minds his own space, and another who absolutely loves all people and pets, so they do just fine around other animals. I have a large kennel with a bed to give dogs a comfortable space of their own to relax in, as I know that some dogs rather enjoy that, but crating is not necessary.

About: Have always been surrounded by pets of my own (such as cats, dogs, rodents, birds, and reptiles), and have done pet sitting for dogs of all sizes for family friends over the years. I’m a stay at home girl with plenty of time on my hands that I’d like to spend doing what I love, which is caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While I do stay in an apartment, I have all the time to go for lots of walks and potty breaks. I live by a beautiful creekside trail that is simply perfect for taking long walks along. I have two cats. One of which is shy and minds his own space, and another who absolutely loves all people and pets, so they do just fine around other animals. I have a large kennel with a bed to give dogs a comfortable space of their own to relax in, as I know that some dogs rather enjoy that, but crating is not necessary.
“Lisa sent us pictures and updates while she cared for our pups which was really comforting . One of our dogs is very old and we were a little concerned about him. But he did great. Lisa clearly took good care of both of them as they were happy and healthy when I picked them up.She didn't bat an eye when I brought over special food. We will always call on Lisa when we go out of town!”
