“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

About: I’ve had pets in my house for my entire life and can’t imagine living any other way. I love all animals and have experience caring for a large variety, including cats, small dogs, large dogs, dogs with behavioral issues, puppies, and seniors. I have raised and trained my own current dog, Moose, and have recently worked with several professional trainers as well. Above all, my number one goal is to meet your pets’ needs and help me be as happy and comfortable as possible! When your pets are in my care, they’ll be taken care of like family. I currently work flexible hours, so my schedule is pretty open! Giving me a days notice will give us plenty of time to work something out. Keeping your pet safe is incredibly important to me, and I take multiple steps to ensure my dog and your own pets are safe! This includes constant supervision and not allowing pets to play with toys or treats while alone inside the home. On walks, I keep your pet safe by proper use of gear like leashes and collars (which I can provide if needed), always carrying water, keeping my phone on me with my location shared to my emergency contact in case of emergency, and always setting your dog up for success by not taking them anywhere they will be unsafe or uncomfortable.

About: I’ve been a cat person for as long as I can remember. As a shy kid, cats were my favorite animals, and whenever we visited a home with a cat, I’d happily spend hours patiently earning their trust until they felt comfortable coming out for pets and attention. Although we didn’t have a cat of our own growing up, I started caring for our neighbors’ cats when I was around 10 years old because everyone knew how much I loved them. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of cats, from feral and shy cats to playful kittens and senior cats with special needs. “To start, Danielle had my dog for a daycare, and, everything went great. I received photos showing him walking with others and I know him well enough to know he was enjoying his time. I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well! We will be boarding at Danielle's as long as she'll have us 💜”

“This is our first time leaving our dog with anyone away from home and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Every day we were gone, Matt and his wife updated us with pictures of how our dog was doing without any nudging. We were able to relax and have a wonderful family vacation with no worries or concerns about our dog. He also got to play with so many other dogs that he had no time to even miss us which was a great plus! The next time we go out of town, we will be using their services again.”
“Moira was awesome! She took such great care of Rufus, sent a lot of pictures every day and filled me in on how he was while I was away! She went above and beyond with the meet and greet, having Rufus explore the place before going there to stay. She took him on walks and made sure to have water available and a foldable bowl for any moment he needed to drink. She was thoughtful throughout every part! I highly recommend her and couldn’t be happier with my Rover experience. :)”
“Debbie, Spoiled our Golden retriever -Chloe. Chloe immediately felt at home with Debbie and her dog Sammy. We got daily update’s and picture’s . Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. Highly recommend Debbie and will continue to rebook with her in the future.”

“I can’t say enough good things about my dogs care with Marta! The communication was more than I could ask for with multiple updates and photos per day. She also made sure my dog got plenty of exercise with dog parks and walks and she treated him like her own while he was in the home. This is more than a pet parent could ask for.
