“I had Shaelyn stay for 2 weeks with my girls in my home. She did an amazing job with them. I got pictures and updates daily, which seriously helped to ease any concerns I had being away that long. When I returned, my girls were very happy and my house was spotless. She was very attentive to their needs and if she had any questions, she simply messaged me to ask. I highly recommend her services and will most certainly use her when I travel in the future.”

“Anthea is a cat whisper. My kitten took to her immediately and my anxiety ridden kitty stayed mellow and calm during the whole stay. She is dedicated to her charges and communicates in detail and quickly. Will leave my two fur babies with her anytime.”
About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs, cats and turtles all the way to horses, goats and chickens! I have had quite a few dogs throughout my life of different breeds and sizes. I regularly watch my family and friend’s pets, from a young spaniel puppy to a big senior Labrador who thinks he’s a puppy. I treat my senior friends with care and affection, wanting them to know nothing but happiness! I have also had a few puppies and understand the patience and care they require, especially when it comes to teaching them manners. I am currently unemployed so pet care will be my full time job! I am completely available everyday at all times to take care of and spend time with your furballs! I have two cats who run my home, they are leash trained and I regularly take them out to explore the backyard and play outside! They are very spoiled and I shower them with treats and toys when I can. When I watch others pets I want to know exactly how they want me to care for their pet, not wanting the animal to have to stray too far off their regular routine, especially when it comes to puppies.
“Spencer was great with our kitties. We got update photos while we were away and it was great to see them so relaxed and happy. Our most shy Mika came out and interacted with Spencer right away. I appreciate the level of communication and care, and I love coming home to happy cats. Looking forward to more trips and we will be booking with Spencer again.”

“Janexis and Zach were wonderful with helping take care of my reactive and anxious pit mix, Minnie. They sent just the right amount of updates, and she looked so happy and at home with each picture! They kept me at ease the entire time. They were also flexible when I needed to extend their care, and left my place cleaner than I left for them! I will definitely use them to care for my pup in the future.”

“Lyla did an incredible job! She gave me updates and was flexible with my crazy schedule. Overall she brought a lot of peace while I was out of town. Just knowing that my dog was so well taken care of. Thank you Lyla!”

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Loved having Caitlin watch my two dogs. She was in close contact and took excellent care of them. When I came home after 5 days gone, they both were totally calm and fine. That’s the test that I’ve found a great pet sitter! I will definitely use Caitlin as my go-to next time I go out of town. We all think she’s the best!”

“Amy was great! Everything from setting up a meet and great, in which she was very organized, asked great questions, took great concern for my dog Bobo's care and needs, as well and addition stuff like, getting the mail, watering plants, garbage, picking up after my dog and any special needs and requests that might be needed during the stay. She sent photos's and communication. I knew Bobo's was in great care. This was the first time I has left Bobo with anyone as he does have some separation anxiety and Amy handled it very well and I felt at ease knowing Bobo was in good hands. I will definitely be hiring Amy again for my future Bobo sitting needs.”

“I’d give 10 stars if I could! I knew my Murphy girl was in good hands with Michaela during our meet n greet. She is very well educated in dog behavior and training, and I felt like I was leaving my dog with a certified trainer! She made sure Murphy got all of the loves, walks, treats and enrichment. I came back home to a happy, healthy pup and a clean house!”

“Tiffany was timely, thorough, invested, and approachable. She made sure she was available to be with our dogs for the entire stay, which is very important as they need a lot of human presence. Our dogs connected with her immediately, she had them playing with her within moments of her meeting them. Tiffany took a ton of photos, and we could easily see that the dogs were safe and happy all throughout our trip. We highly recommend Tiffany.”

“Skyler was incredible! She was super intuitive and knew exactly what the dogs needed. It was a huge peace of mind while I was away. Communication was fantastic and I’m so relieved to have finally found an amazing dog sitter!!”

About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I recently just moved to the Vancouver area, and I am seeking full-time employment. Thus, as of right now, my schedule is wide open, which makes me available anytime and any day (even weekends) to take care your pet. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

“Kaitlyn genuinely joyed taking care of my pets. They are both on medications and it's challenging to dispense them correctly. It was done perfectly. She took really cute pictures of them and kept in touch with how things were going. I am hiring her again!”

Oakbrook pet parents share their Rover experiences
Annie got our nervous boy to cuddle with her! She did such a wonderful job watching both our dog and our cat while we were out of state. Gave us peace of mind that our babies were safe with her for the week. Can’t recommend her enough, gave us updates and pictures throughout the week as well!

What started as a work trip turned into a SKZOO animal party featuring my three girls: Heidi, Nel, and Gwyen. Heidi was my biggest concern leaving — she’s a 13-year-old senior dog undergoing cancer treatment with a strict medication schedule. Cameryn handled it without a hitch. Gwyen is an asthmatic cat who absolutely refuses her medicine — she’s a fighter in every sense. Nel is a young, highly energetic “chaos gremlin,” also known as a German Shorthaired Pointer. Cameryn successfully kept all three happy, healthy, and entertained: a senior dog with complex medical needs, a cat who turns medication time into a battle, and a full-speed chaos gremlin — and they were probably better behaved than the actual SKZOO. I’m so grateful for her care and highly recommend her to any pet parent, K-pop girlie or not. 🐥🐺🐰🐨🐷🦊🐶🦜

Having Michaela was the best dog/house sitter experience. She was perfect with our three big dogs who can be a handful at times. She is very attentive to each dogs needs, quirks, and behaviours. She sent photos and updates each day to put us at ease. Walked/played with them multiple times a day. She even left a sweet card with their paw prints and pictures of them. So thoughtful and left the house cleaner than when we left. 10/10 recommend.

Caitlin stayed for an extended weekend with our 4 month old kitten and was absolutely amazing! I was nervous about leaving our boy for the first time and Caitlin made the whole process so comfortable and reassuring-she met him before we left, and provided a ton of detail about what to expect. It’s very clear that Caitlin is passionate about animals and is incredibly knowledgeable, she went out of her way to provide really helpful new food and litter recommendations and was willing to test things out for us under her care. She was very responsive and respectful of our requests and care for our home as well. 10/10, would absolutely recommend and rebook with Caitlin any time!

Sierra was perfect for my high-energy puppy. She completely understood how demanding a young dog can be, making sure he got plenty of exercise and playtime. The photo updates she sent were fantastic and so fun to receive. I came home to a spotless house and a very tired, happy dog. Highly, highly recommend her to anyone!

Lynette was absolutely amazing! She stayed with our pup while we were out of town and she was very communicative. We got puppy pictures everyday and she was very quick to respond. She even came back to let him out when our flight was delayed. She is my first call next time I need a dog sitter!

Alex in now my go-to sitter for my Aussie. I really appreciate his clear and reliable communication, and I come home to a dog who is happy and well cared for and a tidy house. It's a relief to have someone I trust to take good care of my little dude when I go away.

Bryan was amazing! Everything about the experience was perfect. I was worried about leaving my dog with a sitter for the first time, but so thankful to find Bryan. He kept me informed with pictures and text of my dog, Jack. Jack can be shy of strangers, but he seemed to really bond with Bryan. Bryan also took wonderful care of my house, and left it immaculate. I would use Bryan again in a heartbeat, and whole heartily recommend him as a sitter for all your pet care needs! Thank you so much, Bryan!
