“We’ve used a fair amount of Rover sitters over the years, but Dana and her family are by far the best dog sitters we have ever had. They house sat for us for a week and took care of our two dogs, one of which was elderly and struggling with some health issues. Unfortunately, our older pup took a drastic turn for the worse after we left town. Dana, Mark, and Miranda teamed up to take care of our dogs and home and went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our sick dog was medicated, fed, and loved. They are the only reason our pup made it through until we could return home. I am forever indebted to Dana for her perseverance, determination, and generosity through the ordeal. Her communication was excellent, and Dana’s skills to care for elderly/sick animals is superb. We are so grateful for these wonderful people and will absolutely book them again.”

Although this is the first time using Leah, I could tell right off that she is a good person and very responsible. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs all my life. Kittens, puppies, senior pets, you name it! I currently have a senior cat and an adult dog (who I’ve raised as a puppy) so I’m very aware what responsibilities come with younger to senior pets. I’ve also looked after friends and neighbors cats and dogs while they’re away. Walking dogs are also my favorite thing to do! Weekends I’m available anytime. I’m also available majority of holidays. Overall I stay local since I have my own dog to care for. I also work remotely so I can for pets with flexibility. I’m very aware of any new environment that I’m in. I believe that you should respect everyone’s space the way I would want to be treated. Understanding boundaries is also vital since everyone and their pet(s) are different. Making sure you and your pet feel safe makes me better at my job!
