We hired Anthea to care for our two pups (one a young very timid yet somehow still energetic yorkie mix rescue pup, the other a geriatric parsons Russell terrier who is dealing with some doggie dementia), and she was incredible. Met both dogs where they were were at and went above and beyond in the care for the pups and the care for our home. Gave our pups lots of attention, exercise, and love; gave us detailed updates and lots of photos on how the pups were doing; and we retuned to a home in better condition than it was when we left for the weekend! About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs, cats and turtles all the way to horses, goats and chickens! I have had quite a few dogs throughout my life of different breeds and sizes. I regularly watch my family and friend’s pets, from a young spaniel puppy to a big senior Labrador who thinks he’s a puppy. I treat my senior friends with care and affection, wanting them to know nothing but happiness! I have also had a few puppies and understand the patience and care they require, especially when it comes to teaching them manners. I am currently unemployed so pet care will be my full time job! I am completely available everyday at all times to take care of and spend time with your furballs! I have two cats who run my home, they are leash trained and I regularly take them out to explore the backyard and play outside! They are very spoiled and I shower them with treats and toys when I can. When I watch others pets I want to know exactly how they want me to care for their pet, not wanting the animal to have to stray too far off their regular routine, especially when it comes to puppies.

She met with us the day prior to discuss what was expected and I immediately felt comfortable with her. She asked questions and was genuinely interested in making sure are pets and home were taking care of. Her updates while we were away made our trip worry free as we knew our fur babies were in good hands. Even our cat who normally hides from strangers was comfortable with her! Emma has been absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provided for our fur babies! My wife and I wanted to spend some time exploring national and state parks, but it was really important to us to have someone we trusted staying at home with our pups and cat while we were away. Emma gave us exactly that peace of mind. She is incredibly attentive, sweet, loving, and nurturing with all of our animals. She took the time to engage with them, spend quality time with them, and make sure they received plenty of love and attention while also keeping them on their normal routine. We really appreciated that she followed all of our instructions and made sure everything went according to plan. Emma was also very punctual and communicative throughout her stay. We absolutely loved receiving the pictures and videos she sent us—it was so reassuring getting to see our babies happy, comfortable, and being well cared for while we were away. One of the biggest things for us was simply knowing someone responsible and caring was physically there with our animals, especially in case anything unexpected or an emergency happened. Having Emma there allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our adventures without constantly worrying about what was happening back home. You can tell Emma genuinely cares about animals, and seeing how loving she was with our pups and cat meant a lot to us. We would absolutely trust her with our babies again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, communicative, and genuinely caring sitter. Michelle took care of our dog and our home exceptionally well while we were on a family vacation. She was quick to communicate with the arrival on the first day and the departure on the last day. And she sent picture updates while we were gone as well. I was also very impressed and grateful at the condition she left the home in after staying for a week- I swear it was even cleaner than we left it. We would be happy to book her again.
Caity is very knowledgeable about canine behavior. She even gave me a great tip to optimize my training regarding teaching my dog that loud vehicles are not a big deal. She provided timely updates and pics to keep my mind at ease while I was away. The house was tidy and my dog was happy upon my return.
Katelyn has taken care of my 2 dogs several times. She is an amazing dog sitter and I highly recommend her! My dogs need special care because one has seizures and the other one has pain and a collapsed trachea. They have a complex medication schedule and I never have to worry that they won't receive their meds in the correct amount at the correct time. Katelyn is also very experienced with animal behavior. She is like a dog whisperer! I will be having her sit for my dogs again, and soon!
My husband and I could not recommend sierra enough. If I could give 10 stars I would! She was so kind and professional about taking care of our babies! We typically only hire friends and family to watch the dogs, but decided to take a risk and hire someone from Rover. Sierra was quick to respond as well as very communicative while we were gone.
