Availability
I am available to stay in your home full-time Sundays and Mondays. Tuesday through Saturday, I work full-time in Vancouver, WA, and will have time to dote on your pet in the morning and evening. I am available for in-home pet sitting (housesitting), pet drop-ins, and dog-walking during the weekdays and weekends.

I can care for high-needs pets. If your pet requires extra TLC, let’s talk about it! I will let you know if I cannot accommodate your pet’s needs. Pets in my care receive personal attention and dedicated engagement. Wherever I am caring for your pet, I will do my best to ensure your baby is comfortable and safe. My home is a smoke-free, calm environment. When caring for pets in my home, I typically take dogs out for shorter stints multiple times a day (every 2-4 hours) to exercise and go potty, since I have a private yard and work from home. For pets in a client’s home, I typically take dogs out for longer periods of time less frequently (as appropriate for age and activity-level). I also offer add-on pet services, including bathing/brushing and teeth brushing.

A typical day
I have a large backyard for your pet to play and exercise in. For dogs that need more peer socialization and/or exercise, I like to use nearby walking trails and a fenced dog park (with your permission).

Pet care experience
I have lived my entire life alongside dogs and have cared for dogs through each stage of dog life: newborns and post-partum moms, puppies, pregnant dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, bunnies, chickens, hamsters, and rescued animals. I recently put down my senior maltipoo, Daisy, whom I cared for for over 17 years since her birth. She was on a daily medication and vitamin regimen for her last 8 months. In her absence, I am eager to care for other beloved pets. Imani was super communicative and asked so many great questions during our meet and greet, showing that she clearly understands dogs! Our dog can be a little difficult to handle on walks and Imani was patient and sent us so many fun updates. I would recommend her to anyone, and will be booking her again!
This was our second time having Imani house sit and she blew us away again! She’s so communicative, professional, and always goes above and beyond: giving our pup extra potty breaks, walks, and snuggles. She always leaves our house cleaner than we left it which is so nice to come home to :)
Imani was responsive, kind and dedicated to our puppy during our time away. She provided immense peace of mind for us since this was our first time being away from our pup. 100 stars - Imani is fantastic. We’ve worked with her many times over the last year and an half and will continue to do so. We have a reactive dog who takes medicine daily and 2 cats, one on hospice who takes multiple oral medications 2x a day. Imani is 100% on top of everything, sends regular updates, seeks feedback, and asks smart questions. She stays at our house / house sits while we are gone and always leaves the house in incredible shape. She is a dream come true and I’d highly recommend working with her.
