“TLDR I booked with Linnea for 14 days (one hour-long drop-in per day). It was the best sitting experience my cat Bootes, whom the shelter described as a cat who demonstrates "fearful behavior," has had so far. I would definitely book Linnea again and I recommend her, especially if you also have a cat who gets shy/anxious. More detail: This was my first time using Rover/paying for a professional sitter, so I was nervous about how it would go. I have had Bootes for four years and have had three other sitters (friends/neighbors) during that time period; two sitters Bootes boarded with were experienced cat owners, but they were more used to handling extroverted cats. The third sitter was able to visit Bootes at home, and despite being able to stay in her home territory, Bootes did not want to come out from under her go-to hiding spot (under my bed) at all during drop-ins (2-3x a day for 7 days). So I wondered if that would be the case for this time as well. But Linnea had Bootes coming out regularly very early on into the booking! Knowing that Bootes was only getting friendlier and more comfortable with Linnea over time gave me a lot of peace of mind; I did not have to worry so much about whether Bootes was feeling scared or lonely while I was on vacation. My previous sitters been great with ensuring Bootes's physical health and safety, but this is the first time where I knew that Bootes was doing ok mentally/emotionally too, thanks to Linnea's cat whispering. All other aspects of the booking went awesomely as well!”

About: I have had cats my entire life, from a mean old barn cat who only liked me to a spunky gray kitten who now runs my home. I’ve been scooping and cleaning litter boxes since I was 7 years old and still do it to this day. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. Sadly I don't have a yard but I will give frequent potty breaks. I can easily crate your dog if needed I do deliveries for customers and that give me plenty of time to take care of your fur baby. Feed, walks, play-time and etc. ☺️ So far I have watched a lot of dog in my home and it has worked out great. I had dogs that stayed longer than 1 week.
About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have cared for dogs and cats for neighbors and friends for many years. I've done drop-in visits to overnight week-long stays. The people who know me know I treat animals like family, with the utmost care and love. I have a special way of bonding with any animal, regardless of their personality. I've tenderly cared for senior dogs and cats who require multiple daily medications, as well as young puppies with boundless energy. I love them all. I am communicative, detail-oriented, and punctual. Overall, I look forward to meeting your furbabies and caring for them while you enjoy your time away, worry-free! I just graduated from WSUV and plan to take some time off before jumping into a career. I have a very open and flexible schedule, and I will be happy to work with any client in a way that best meets their needs. I have personally used Rover many times for my own pet, and I understand how much flexibility is appreciated. I am happy to diligently follow any instructions regarding how the owner would like their pet cared for in their home. I am punctual and can arrive at the time requested for a drop-in visit. I can attentively follow any instructions, for example, precise dosing for meds or the amount of food to give, etc. Additionally, I pride myself on being very communicative.
About: I have had dogs or taken care of dogs my whole life. I would walk my neighbors dogs. I would gladly take care of them if needed. I am currently available any day or time. I am retired and want to fill my days taking care of dogs and any other animal. I prefer to stay at your home to care for your pets since they are comfortable there. I have transportation and am happy to meet with your animals before I am hired.
