However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. About: What dogs love about spending time with us: 1) They have a sense of comfort & trust. I am always attentive with them, since I work from home and have worked in (human) emergency rooms and psychiatric facilities so handle chaos well. 2) My lifestyle is flexible based on what they prefer (long walks or relaxing) and they usually have 2 people available 3) my apartment faces S/SE and gets sun throughout the day. Dogs seem to LOVE sunbathing. 4) I am close to downtown parks and 3 blocks from the new section of the waterfront. Giving them a variety of smells each day. 5) For you - I’m a decent photographer and enjoy getting shots that showcase your dog’s unique personality Specific experience: terriers, Maltese, shih tzu, poodles, spaniels. High energy dogs needing exercise as well as dogs with a lot of various anxieties & prefer being with someone all day. Senior dogs and puppies (outside of newborns). While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. If you need a recurring service would love to build a relationship with your dog so he feels comfortable visiting someone he knows. Reach out for any questions! About: I got my first dog when I was five and haven’t not had a dog since. My oldest is 13 and is my whole world! I’ve been taking care of him since he was 8 weeks old and he is truly my best friend. I know how special a dog is and I know you only want the best for yours! My oldest lost his hearing a couple of years ago and since then I’ve learned to navigate communicating with hard of hearing pets! I’m currently raising a very rambunctious pitbull puppy, I’m confident I can handle whatever your pet throws at me! I’m currently a part time student at Clark college and work at a local restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30pm-9:00pm. I’m available most mornings and afternoons with the exception of Monday and Wednesday 11:00am-12:20pm while I’m in class! While I don’t offer care in my home out of consideration for my family and my own pets I am more than capable of caring for your pets in your home!

About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also take care of friends, and family pets as well. Just did house sitting with 2 Australian cattle dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. I love animals and anyone who knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. I just bring my laptop and I’m able to care for your fur kids all day :) I am especially good at cuddles all day, walks, and feeding/playing with your fur kids. We did a meet up before the stay where Christopher took notes and helped calm me and the dog! Ruby got walks, played in the big yard and felt right at home. Wonderful experience for dog & owners!”

“Dominique was the best babysitter! I’ve never seen Crouton so happy and well taken care of. Her pup, Poppy, was the sweetest girl and got along with Crouton really well.
