Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. Highly recommend Debbie and will continue to rebook with her in the future.”

“My dog Bailey had a great time with Elaine and her menagerie. Lots of walks and many other dogs to play with. Elaine kept me updated on Bailey’s status and activities every day, including photos, which brought me peace of mind while I was traveling. Very convenient to Portland Airport, so I will definitely board here again next time I’m flying out of PDX.”

“Shadie did really well with Reuben and he warmed up to her quickly, since this was his first time being watched by her. She let him play in background with other dogs and snuggle with him and he overall had a blast and was comfortable. She also is great with communication and send frequent photos of Reuben. Definitely recommend.”

“Heath and Amy were wonderful! They took great care of Eloise and were patient and attentive to her timidness with new people. I appreciated the communication, updates and photos. Eloise got along great with their pup and they played and enjoyed each others company. I will book Eloise a stay with Health and Amy again in the future! Thanks again for taking care of my sweet girl.”

“Moira was awesome! She took such great care of Rufus, sent a lot of pictures every day and filled me in on how he was while I was away! She went above and beyond with the meet and greet, having Rufus explore the place before going there to stay. She took him on walks and made sure to have water available and a foldable bowl for any moment he needed to drink. She was thoughtful throughout every part! I highly recommend her and couldn’t be happier with my Rover experience. :)”

“Juan Daniel was immediately kind, attentive, and extremely understanding when I had to extend my stay last minute. He asked all the right questions when he met Penny and she loved him instantly.”

“I cannot rave enough about Sandy! Not only was she very communicative before I booked her, but she kept me in the loop the whole time I was away from my Baxter. She was so great with him and the whole process was just really easy. I even extended my time another night because I felt so confident he was in good hands, so I left him there so I could run around Portland by myself for one extra day. I will definitely be using Sandy again next time I return!”

“Annabelle was a great dog sitter! She was very responsive from the beginning and kept in touch with updates throughout the week. We highly recommend her and her family to watch your pup!”

“Annika and John are wonderful! They took great care of my anxious and needy pup for a week and kept me in the loop with daily photos and updates which I really appreciated. “Chava was very accommodating to watch our dog while we were traveling. I didn’t see her apartment but the neighborhood seemed safe with plenty of other dogs walking their human. Our dog who has separation anxiety was well taken care of. Chava sent an update and a picture when I asked. 3 night stay.”

“This is our first time leaving our dog with anyone away from home and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Every day we were gone, Matt and his wife updated us with pictures of how our dog was doing without any nudging. We were able to relax and have a wonderful family vacation with no worries or concerns about our dog. He also got to play with so many other dogs that he had no time to even miss us which was a great plus! The next time we go out of town, we will be using their services again.”

“We are incredibly grateful for Araceli for watching our two pups! It’s our 2nd boarding experience with her - 1st for our 5-month old - and they were well taken care of. Def one of the best Rover experiences we’ve had”

“Bond is never happy to have his regular staff away, but he seemed happy when we got home so Emily apparently was a good substitute! Emily had good communication and sent photos daily.”

About: I've always had a soft spot for cats. My husband and I fostered cats, and the only reason we didn't end up adopting one ourselves was because we moved abroad! Since returning home, we've really missed having animals in our lives. Along with fostering, I've cared for friends' and family's cats while they were away, making sure they stayed comfortable, well-fed, and got plenty of attention on their own terms. I understand that every cat has a different personality—whether they're playful, shy, or independent—and I'm happy to adapt to their routine. As a freelance project manager, I also have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and lots of love while you're away.

“Francis was great with our kitty Fred - we could tell from all of the cute photos that he was excited to play and hang out with Francis. Will definitely rebook!”

“Sadie was so helpful making daily drop-ins on our cat, while we were away. She was gracious in having to clean up quite a few messes he made, she made sure his food, water, and litter box were kept fresh, and she spent some time with him each day to keep him from getting too lonely. She was very easy to communicate with during our trip. Thank you, Sadie for taking such good care of our kitty!”

“Michelle was absolutely incredible. I was away for 10 days visiting my mom because of her illness, and knowing Paco was so well cared for gave me real peace of mind during an emotional time. She sent pictures and videos every day and on the last day of the booking she even stayed late to make sure I had landed safely back in Portland before leaving Paco alone. When I returned, my apartment was immaculately clean and Paco was happy, relaxed, and clearly loved. I would definitely rebook Michelle and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and thoughtful sitter.”

“Jennifer was very attentive to all the instructions that were left and went above and beyond in monitoring my cat's litter and more. Great communication, friendly, and awesome with animals!”

“Amy sat with my cat Shadow while I went on a 10 day vacation with family recently. I received daily pics and updates from her and I returned to a clean house and a happy cat. Amy clearly loves cats, she's dependable, and she's a lovely person to boot.”

“Shelby took great care of my cats. They are boo kitties and didn't come out during her visits, but she still found them and took pictures. I would definitely use Shelby again.”

“Absolutely loved having Victoria watch over my babies. This was our first time having someone come do a drop by and I was worried how it would go but my boys quickly warmed up to her. I love how she kept in constant contact and gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much!!!!”

About: I love getting to know each cat’s personality—whether they’re a lap cat, a window watcher, or a “talk to me but don’t touch me” type. I follow your routine, keep their space clean, and give them the kind of care that helps them feel secure and understood.

“Mandi is the best! My cat had a little accident and she was quick to take care of it. I feel much better knowing Mandi is my go-to person to check in on my cat! She’s great!”

“Jocelyn did an excellent job taking care of my kitties! She was very thorough and provided regular updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even managed to give them their meds, which can be tricky. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for reliable and attentive pet care!”

“I usually have family or friends check in on my cat, but somehow our vacations all aligned this summer. I was nervous to have someone I didn’t know help—but from the first meeting with Autumn I felt comfortable. She was warm, cheerful, competent, and helpful with suggestions/reassurances for someone like me who hadn’t used a true sitter before. After talking with her I felt relieved that she’d be coming by, and I continued to feel so with her great, consistent, detailed text updates and pics (she also kept my plants alive during a heat wave!). Autumn was fabulous and I’m so thankful to have found her. Should I need a sitter again, she’d be my first choice. Thank you so much! ?☺️?”

“He was very communicative and even did extra things that I forgot to ask him to do in the midst of travel prep — e.g., taking out my garbage bins. Highly recommend!”

About: I was practically raised in an animal shelter! My mom is the founder and director of SOAR, so I have a lifetime of animal experience:) I have a large black lab/border collie mix (named Dex) who loves other animals. I’ve done and dealt with everything you can imagine (puppies, behavioral issues, kittens, medication, several dogs at once, macaw care, etc.) I’d love the chance you sit your pet and treat them to walks and play time. Please message me with any questions you may have! :) I’ve got lots of free time to care for pets! I’m more than happy to work around schedules, as I have my own pet I care for! I will only leash walk, make sure I follow the instructions given by owners, and will do any needed intros on leash and outside for safety
About: What dogs love about spending time with us: 1) They have a sense of comfort & trust. I am always attentive with them, since I work from home and have worked in (human) emergency rooms and psychiatric facilities so handle chaos well. 2) My lifestyle is flexible based on what they prefer (long walks or relaxing) and they usually have 2 people available 3) my apartment faces S/SE and gets sun throughout the day. Dogs seem to LOVE sunbathing. 4) I am close to downtown parks and 3 blocks from the new section of the waterfront. Giving them a variety of smells each day. 5) For you - I’m a decent photographer and enjoy getting shots that showcase your dog’s unique personality Specific experience: terriers, Maltese, shih tzu, poodles, spaniels. High energy dogs needing exercise as well as dogs with a lot of various anxieties & prefer being with someone all day. Senior dogs and puppies (outside of newborns). While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. If you need a recurring service would love to build a relationship with your dog so he feels comfortable visiting someone he knows. Reach out for any questions! My partner and I work from home and do not have pets, so I would love to spend time with them! At least one of us is home most of the time. If we leave it’s for a couple hours at a time, max. And are open to bring the dog if it’s not hot. I live in an apartment and do not have any pets. I would be able to visit homes or other apartments to care for pets.I am able to spend a lot of them with them and walk them around the neighborhood or park depending on their energy level. They will receive a lot of love!

“Emily did great for a first meeting and walk with our pup. She can be slow to warm up and Emily was patient and very honest and communicative with how the visit went. Appreciate the extra step of cleaning up a mess our kitties made that wasn’t on the bill!”

About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.
About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also taken care of friends, and family pets as well. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. Now I’m dedicating my time to help others care for their pet family members. I love animals and anyone who knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. I just bring my laptop and I’m able to care for your fur kids all day :) I am especially good at cuddles all day, walks, and feeding/playing with your fur kids. My motto is animals are better than humans because they are. I love them!
“Felicia has been so amazing! She covered for me on short notice and she has been wonderful with my older dog who can be reactive and crotchety. She’s also very sweet with my two kitties and good on updating me on everything going on with my fur babies. Highly recommend!”

“I am so very pleased with my experience using Ching for the first time to walk my 2 small dogs while I was at a convention. She was very responsive, sent me photos and updates, even letting me know that one of my dogs who has had previous leg surgery was not up to a full walk, so she carried her for a bit. I really appreciated the peace of mind knowing that my pups were happy and well looked after while I couldn’t be home. Thank you!!”

“Great dog walker, both patient and kept training Gracie to heel. Pleasant company, too, while I walked our second dog. We recommend her and will ask for her again if we need this service again”

About: Animals have always gravitated toward me. I wish I could take more credit for it, but at this point, I just lean into it. Over 10 years of caring for pets of all kinds, I've become the person friends and family call when they need someone who'll actually look after their animals like they matter. I've worked with puppies, seniors, large breeds, multi-pet homes, and cats who take a little convincing. My personal record is 7 dogs and 2 cats under one roof, and everyone left happy, including me. I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I'm just as comfortable with cats as I am with dogs. Every visit comes with photos and genuine communication, not just a thumbs up that they're alive. I pay attention to your pet, notice when something feels off, and treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own. One thing worth mentioning: I only take bookings in non-smoking homes, and I appreciate your understanding on that. My schedule is flexible right now, so I can work around yours. Whether it's consistent weekly visits or the occasional last-minute request, I can usually make it work as long as I'm not already booked. First, I'd like to meet you and your pet in person. It helps me get familiar with their personality and routine, and makes sure they know who I am before I show up solo. The last thing I want is for your pet to see me as a stranger who isn't supposed to be there. We'll go over their feeding schedule, medications, leash behavior, training, and emergency vet info, including the nearest location. I'll ask you to put it all in writing before I get started so we're both on the same page, and nothing gets missed. I'll also want to know how they do around other animals on walks, since some dogs are social butterflies and some aren't, and I'd rather know upfront than find out mid-walk. When I'm in your home, I treat it with care, keep things exactly as you'd want them, and make sure your pet stays comfortable and keeps their routine the whole time.
“Cassie, is amazing! Our dog gets soooo excited to see her when she comes. She has been so flexible and adaptive to our dogs needs. I know she is in good hands when we are away!!!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up with both cats and dogs, and over the years I've pet sat for family and friends, as well as walked dogs while I was in college. One of my favorite experiences was fostering cats with my husband—we came incredibly close to "foster failing" and adopting them ourselves! The only reason we didn't was because we were preparing to move abroad. Now that we're back home, we miss having animals in our daily lives, and Rover is the perfect way for me to spend time with pets while helping their owners. I'm an active person who played Division II soccer in college, so I'm always happy to take energetic dogs on long walks, runs, or adventures outside. Whether your pet loves playing, exploring, or just curling up for some company, I'm happy to meet them where they're most comfortable. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving you complete peace of mind. My schedule is flexible since I work as a freelance Project Manager. Mondays and Fridays are typically my most open days, but with a little advance notice, I'm often able to accommodate visits throughout the rest of the week as well. I also work from home several days a week, which gives me the flexibility to stop by for drop-in visits, walks, or check-ins during the day if you're located in the Vancouver area. If you have a specific schedule in mind, feel free to reach out—I'm happy to see if we can make it work! I'm happy to offer a wide range of Rover services, including drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and pet daycare in your home. At this time, I'm not able to host pets in my own home, but I'm more than happy to come to yours. I believe pets are often happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment, where they can stick to their normal routine. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, well cared for, and getting plenty of love while you're away.
About: I've been taking care of pups in my free time for three years now, I used to work in a bar and meeting the dogs who come in with their humans created my love for it. Now that I am no longer in the bar industry, I want to do this more full time! I am currently unemployed looking to love on your pups just like they are my own! I have always loved dogs, and making this my full time job is all I want! I am staying in your home with your dogs whenever you need. Making sure they get all their meals, meds, potty breaks and playtime they would need!
About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to large lizards, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I believe in providing the highest quality of care and an enthusiastic about engaging with your animals. A lot of people tend to thing that animals, especially cats, only require the bare minimum, but the reality is that for the best quality of life they need consistent and engaged care. To me this means deep cleaning litter boxes, ensuring they’re cleaned at least once a day, cleaning bowls regularly, engaging in active play and exercise/mental stimulation, and being patient when shy animals need time to warm up. Leaving your animals is hard—on both of you—having someone you can trust and rely on makes all the difference. I am so excited to meet your pets and give them love. I currently work from home full time but can flex hours where needed or work from any home that has wifi and a place for me to set up. I do not currently take pets in my own home, but am passionate about making sure that spaces I am in are safe, comfortable, and clean for your pets. This means that I am also available to provide light cleaning while I am there. I am especially skilled with shy or easily scared animals and have a lot of experience working with them to get used to people.
“Steele is fantastic! He takes amazing care of Nigel and is super knowledgeable and punctual. We love that he always keeps us in the loop, whether he's sharing a quick update about how the walk went or staying on top of scheduling. I’d trust him with Nigel any day!”

About: I got my first dog when I was five and haven’t not had a dog since. My oldest is 13 and is my whole world! I’ve been taking care of him since he was 8 weeks old and he is truly my best friend. I know how special a dog is and I know you only want the best for yours! My oldest lost his hearing a couple of years ago and since then I’ve learned to navigate communicating with hard of hearing pets! I’m currently raising a very rambunctious pitbull puppy, I’m confident I can handle whatever your pet throws at me! I’m currently a part time student at Clark college and work at a local restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30pm-9:00pm. I’m available most mornings and afternoons with the exception of Monday and Wednesday 11:00am-12:20pm while I’m in class! While I don’t offer care in my home out of consideration for my family and my own pets I am more than capable of caring for your pets in your home!

“Jocelyn was so great to work with and so good to our little Bud! The progress reports and photos were definitely something we looked forward to! Will absolutely be utilizing her again and would 100% recommend her to anyone.”

About: I will admit that I acquire no previous professional experience, however, I think I can speak for all animal lovers when I say that it doesn't take much when it already comes so natural in the first place. Being around 4 dogs and 2 cats growing up has made it that much more comfortable and easier to sign up for Rover. From tending anxiety attacks and engaging in playful encouragement on zoomie runs, to simple walks and strolls and chill TV sessions, animals have always been the most versed, laid-back companions anyone could ask for. As of right now, I am available Monday, Tuesday, Friday through Sunday. Times varying from morning to late afternoon. Available boarding may range from any of these dates and timeframes, but please feel free to reach out if you need an emergency walk or visit! Baths, walks, scheduled feeding times and play is always within my routine when caring for fur babies. When I had my cats, feeding time was whenever a timer set off and played the New Girl intro. Silly, yes. However, very effective.
About: As an experienced pet owner that just loves animals, I would be honored to care for your pet. I have experience with all types of animals including cats, bunnies, lizards and chickens, but my all time favorite pets are the tail-wagging goofballs that are dogs. My dog Mochi is my best friend, and I promise to give your pet the same love and attention that Mochi receives. I am home during the day and pets can go out on their schedule. I am happy to let your pet stay here with us, but I know some dogs are more comfortable at home. In that case, I can stay at your home with the dog or just do drop ins as needed. I am available for walks or trips to the dog park as well. Whatever your pup needs, I am happy to accommodate! I currently don’t work outside the home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can walk your dog on their schedule so they can stick to their own routine. I have a dog at home, and he is used to us having visitors. If I stay at your home, Mochi will need to be with me, and he’s very experienced with this.

“Debbie, Spoiled our Golden retriever -Chloe. Chloe immediately felt at home with Debbie and her dog Sammy. We got daily update’s and picture’s .

“Annabelle was a great dog sitter! She was very responsive from the beginning and kept in touch with updates throughout the week. We highly recommend her and her family to watch your pup!”

“Larissa was the perfect person to take care of my dog. She sent me updates and photos throughout the entire time. I felt assured that my dog Mac was in good hands and at no point was worried. I’d happily leave my pup with Larissa again!”

“I would definitely have our dog stay with Maryorie again! She sent pictures and videos everyday which was great to see how much fun our dog was having. I would absolutely recommend her to dog sit!!!”

“She did an exceptional job with Miso! This was his first time boarding with someone he didn’t already know, so we were a little nervous, but she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. You can genuinely tell that she does this because she loves dogs. She sent us frequent updates and photos throughout his stay, was incredibly accommodating, and was just such a kind, easygoing person to work with. Most importantly, Miso seemed happy and well cared for. We had a great experience and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their dog. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again! ❤️”

“Very kind and patient with our energetic 8 month old. Large secure fenced yard he had fun playing in. It was his very first time away from home and family; we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for him.”

“Lisa sent us pictures and updates while she cared for our pups which was really comforting . One of our dogs is very old and we were a little concerned about him. But he did great. Lisa clearly took good care of both of them as they were happy and healthy when I picked them up.She didn't bat an eye when I brought over special food. We will always call on Lisa when we go out of town!”
“Hannah was great with our dog, Brooklyn! She sent lots of updates and progress reports. Our dog has severe anxiety, and he had a great time there. We can’t wait to hire her again!”

“Flawless. Leah and Chris did a phenomenal job making me and Gnocchi feel comfortable with the arrangement and she had a great time. She's very high energy and they gave her a lot of playtime and attention. And sent tons of pictures too!”

“I can’t say enough good things about my dogs care with Marta! The communication was more than I could ask for with multiple updates and photos per day. She also made sure my dog got plenty of exercise with dog parks and walks and she treated him like her own while he was in the home. This is more than a pet parent could ask for. We will definitely continue to use her services.”

“To start, Danielle had my dog for a daycare, and, everything went great. I received photos showing him walking with others and I know him well enough to know he was enjoying his time. I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well! We will be boarding at Danielle's as long as she'll have us 💜”

“Christopher was an absolutely great host. He’s got a great yard and two friendly pups to keep your dogs company while you’re away. Very quick communication. We will definitely be asking for his help in the future, and I recommend it to anyone looking to host their dogs where they can be safe and happy while you are gone.”
