We communicated and met in person preemptive to my vacation…actually a few times, with exchange of the house key and care instructions. She kept in contact with me everyday and made sure I was aware of everything going on with the animals, plus she even cared for my trash cans, which was real convenient. About: I’ve been fostering and caring for dogs since I was in high school - Cats even longer, since I grew up with cats my whole life. I got a job as a dog bather in 2017 and then became an apprentice Dog Groomer in 2021! I work 6 hours a day on average for the city of Vancouver, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Open availability on the weekends and Mondays I get off work early! I have plenty of experience with caring for animals and have helped managed a shifting rotation of multiple dogs in one household that didn’t get along utilizing crates, gated areas and schedules.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats and dogs & got my first taste of hands-on pet care when I got my sweet pup for my 8th birthday. Fast forward, I now have the privilege of loving that same dog’s two puppies (who are now 10 years old). I work from home and walk my girls every 2-3 hours. I can exercise high energy dogs or make walks shorter and easier for senior pups. I’m very affectionate and love cuddly pups and kitties. My two dogs are 10 year old chihuahuas and are very relaxed, friendly, and lazy (they love to sleep all day). While caring for your baby, I can provide separation if needed or preferred, or if it’s comfortable for you, everyone can happily co-exist. I also have a small crate available if needed at any time. I work from home and am home with my pets all day. I also have a living room camera to check on the babies whenever we are out of the house. I’m currently not working, so I have all the time to take care of your pet. No schedule conflicts, so you don’t have to worry :) I have a small place, without much to do outside. About: My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. Our home is a single story with no stairs. Dogs will never be left alone together for safety purposes and will never be in backyard unsupervised. We can accommodate frequent bathroom breaks, but your dog must be potty trained.

About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
