About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and small animals my whole life. I’ve even fostered with rescues in the past. I recently lost my own dog and thought maybe I could cuddle someone else’s while they travel. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard which your pet would have access to at any time they like! I work from home for the Dept of Veterans Affairs and usually have the back door open for access to the fenced yard throughout the day. Outside of errands, I am typically home with them. I have a fenced yard with plenty of access for the pets. When they’re here, they’re family so if they want in the sofa: great! Sleep in bed: even better! Or if they prefer the safety of their crate, that’s good too. I want them to feel comfortable. Unless they’re from the same household, I prefer to keep one dog at a time to make sure they get undivided attention. But, if they’re social and like to play, I live super close to the dog park! About: Hi, I’m Carissa — a mom of four and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a kid and have trained puppies at home with potty training and basic commands like sit, stay, and come. I love all breeds and personalities — seniors, shy pups, and energetic goofballs are all welcome here! Right now I’m in the slow season of my regular job, which means I have extra time and flexibility to give your pet plenty of attention and love. I treat every animal like family and always take time to understand their unique personality. Expect lots of cuddles, encouragement, and photo updates from me! I wake up very early every day and can always care for pets before work or after work, and always on my days off. If your schedule is flexible I can do multiple visits a day as well. I treat all animals like they are my own family, and love learning each one’s personality. They will get lots of cuddles and encouragement from me :)
“Francisca was amazing! She went above and beyond while I went out of town for 7 days. I was so anxious to leave my pup alone and Francisca made me feel so comfortable. She gave great daily communication and updates. She took my pup to run some errands and even spent extra time with my pupper after the walks to make her feel safe (My dog and I have never been apart that long). I could see on the house camera that she treated my pup/my home with such respect and treated my pup and if she were her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Francisca to another seeking a walker/sitter and I will definitely be using her in the future! I think I even made a friend! ?❤️”
