Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

“Alex is the best! We needed help with our three cats with very little scheduling notice, and Alex stepped up to help. He took notes while I went over their routine, and I could tell he took caring for them very seriously. He even agreed to bringing in our mail and watering some plants. One of our cats is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice daily, and she was also on an oral antibiotic. Alex updated us regularly about how the cats were doing, whether or not the diabetic cat was eating, and how feedings and medication administrations went. It really eased our anxieties with leaving our three cats with individual needs in the hands of someone so capable and trustworthy. Alex's professionalism and dedication to providing quality care for our cats and the house while we were gone allowed us to focus on what we needed to at that time. About: I have taken care of dogs, horses, and other farm animals since I was 7 years old. I grew up in a family with four big dogs and spent a lot of time training them in agility, helping at equestrian centers and other farms where I encountered and worked with all different kinds of working dogs, and spent years studying dog training, grooming, and handling. I currently have a highly reactive Pyrenees/German Shepherd who has allowed me to find a new passion in more deeply figuring out how different kinds of animals' minds work and learn to cater to their varying needs and learning styles, a mini Aussie who I am now working with in the beginning stages of agility training and having fun learning all sorts of different types of obedience and tricks with, and an Aussie/Pyr newly 1 year old who is already my best mountain biking buddy and has had a very strong start with agility training. I have to schedule meet & greets and start/end times around my meeting schedule daily, but once I am there can cater to whatever you dog’s daily schedule need is I will follow any directions you leave me, from crating, feeding, and play/cuddle time instructions if I am sitting, or whatever sort of walking specifications or request you have to best to cater to you dog if I am only taking him/her on walks.

I am certified in CPR/First Aid for animals from the American Red Cross and can administer both oral and injectable medications. I’ve owned Alaskan Malamutes, Labradors, Dobermans, etc and loved to walk them all. I’m good at getting pets to take their medicine and love to give seniors the extra care and attention they deserve. About: I have taken care of my dog ever since he was a baby. I picked up a job in high school caring for 2 dogs every day and absolutely loved it! I love taking walks, feeding them, bathing them, and just playing with all sorts of animals! I am available to take your animal for a walk or come over and play with them! I have my own pup at home, and I love her dearly! I am a student at Western Washington University and am majoring in education! Although I have lots of classes, I will still have plenty of time to care for your pup! I am able to drive and have a car for transportation! In my free time I would love to show your pet some love! To ensure your pets safety and your homes, I will make sure your pet is not demolishing your house or personal items! I love to bring fun toys for pups and enjoy watching them have fun!

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

“Jenny was great. She clearly loves dogs and treated Luna like her own. She sent me updates and pictures during the stay, which helped put me at ease. My dog has been struggling to eat lately and Jenny was very patient with her and helped her get her meds and some food. I needed to extend the sitting and Jenny was very accommodating and kind.”
