“Barry is wonderful! Like many pet owners, we were so nervous leaving our almost 14 year old Callie behind for a few days. However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. We could tell, Callie really enjoyed all the smells in the garden and the calm setting. We can’t say enough, other than we are so glad we found Barry and we would highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: I got my first dog when I was five and haven’t not had a dog since. My oldest is 13 and is my whole world! I’ve been taking care of him since he was 8 weeks old and he is truly my best friend. I know how special a dog is and I know you only want the best for yours! My oldest lost his hearing a couple of years ago and since then I’ve learned to navigate communicating with hard of hearing pets! I’m currently raising a very rambunctious pitbull puppy, I’m confident I can handle whatever your pet throws at me! I’m currently a part time student at Clark college and work at a local restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30pm-9:00pm. I’m available most mornings and afternoons with the exception of Monday and Wednesday 11:00am-12:20pm while I’m in class! While I don’t offer care in my home out of consideration for my family and my own pets I am more than capable of caring for your pets in your home!

Just did house sitting with 2 Australian cattle dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. About: Have had dogs my whole life. Grew up on a ranch with working dogs. Was a 4-H leader, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Ellie and Beau are my two four legged Corgi kids. I live by myself with my dogs. Enjoy walking and training for the Portland to Coast event. I am a school bus driver so I get up early feed and short walk the dogs, go to work come home in 2-3 hours then we go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) then head back to work after being home for 3-4 hours. Run the bus for a couple hours then back home around 5 pm. Feed then short walk before bed. All over night stays comes with free walks. I have a fenced in small back yard with gazebo. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.

Lisa was very communicative and even helped out providing her own when I forgot to bring the batch I had premade for B's special food addition, saving me time of having to run home when I had to catch a flight. She provided pictures every day and made sure Beatrix was settled when dropping her off at my home and even sent a video. She checked in with me when Beatrix's arthritis was acting up before giving the "as needed" meds. I will definitely use Lisa again!”
“Barry is wonderful! Like many pet owners, we were so nervous leaving our almost 14 year old Callie behind for a few days. However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. We could tell, Callie really enjoyed all the smells in the garden and the calm setting. We can’t say enough, other than we are so glad we found Barry and we would highly recommend him.”

“Intentional, caring, and a great set up for a dog. Easy 5-star review! Christopher was awesome for someone who, along with my pup, has a bit of anxiety staying with random people. We did a meet up before the stay where Christopher took notes and helped calm me and the dog! Ruby got walks, played in the big yard and felt right at home. Wonderful experience for dog & owners!”
“This was my first time leaving my dog with a Rover sitter while I visited Portland, and the experience was so amazing I wish I lived here so that Miller could stay here again! I frequently received pics of my dog having a blast playing, snuggling with other dogs, and getting human affection time. He had so much fun playing that I think he forgot he was a dog with severe separation anxiety. ? And we picked up a clean doggy! Could not recommend more.”
“Debbie, Spoiled our Golden retriever -Chloe. Chloe immediately felt at home with Debbie and her dog Sammy. We got daily update’s and picture’s . Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. Highly recommend Debbie and will continue to rebook with her in the future.”
