About: Hi! I'm Frankie! My wife, Stacy, and I have been dog-sitting at our house for the last 4 years. Our miniature dachshund, Maverick, is the head of our house and is looking to make new friends. Maverick is well-trained, friendly and is currently learning to hunt truffles! He loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to have a new playdate. Our home is single-story with a fully fenced backyard, plenty of grass to run around, and enough squirrels to keep Maverick busy throughout the day. We're around throughout the week, so your dog will be supervised and receive plenty of attention. Expect regular backyard time, walks around the neighborhood and cuddles. There is a ramp for couch access (Maverick mostly uses it). Small/medium dogs are welcome on the couch. We also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, toys and a gate to provide separation during mealtimes, if needed. We treat all dogs as family and aim to provide a chill, safe environment for them to play and relax while you're away. I'm available throughout the week and my wife works remotely, so your dog will always have someone around. If we ever do need to step out for errands, we're never gone for more than an hour or two. About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I am based in Vancouver and I currently work a part time retail job in Portland. My retail job's schedule is not consistent and I may need to be at work for 6 to 8 hours on a particular day, sometimes during an afternoon or evening feeding time. Luckily, my schedule gets posted three weeks out. So, I'll know which days I will be totally free to hang out with pets. I'll make sure to communicate with you on which days I will be gone for a long stretch and make sure it fits within your pets schedule. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. “Moira was awesome! She took such great care of Rufus, sent a lot of pictures every day and filled me in on how he was while I was away! She went above and beyond with the meet and greet, having Rufus explore the place before going there to stay. She took him on walks and made sure to have water available and a foldable bowl for any moment he needed to drink. She was thoughtful throughout every part! I highly recommend her and couldn’t be happier with my Rover experience. :)”

“Debbie, Spoiled our Golden retriever -Chloe. Chloe immediately felt at home with Debbie and her dog Sammy. We got daily update’s and picture’s . Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. Highly recommend Debbie and will continue to rebook with her in the future.”
