“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and small animals my whole life. I’ve even fostered with rescues in the past. I recently lost my own dog and thought maybe I could cuddle someone else’s while they travel. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard which your pet would have access to at any time they like! I work from home for the Dept of Veterans Affairs and usually have the back door open for access to the fenced yard throughout the day. Outside of errands, I am typically home with them. I have a fenced yard with plenty of access for the pets. When they’re here, they’re family so if they want in the sofa: great! Sleep in bed: even better! Or if they prefer the safety of their crate, that’s good too. I want them to feel comfortable. Unless they’re from the same household, I prefer to keep one dog at a time to make sure they get undivided attention. But, if they’re social and like to play, I live super close to the dog park! If you just want drop-in visits or walks, just let me know how I can best accommodate and I’ll be happy to work something out to suit your needs.

“Steve provided a great experience for us and our dog Mochi! We left over the 4th of July and she was with him for over a week. She came back to us happy, healthy and tuckered out after playing with the other pups in Steve's care. “To start, Danielle had my dog for a daycare, and, everything went great. I received photos showing him walking with others and I know him well enough to know he was enjoying his time. I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well! We will be boarding at Danielle's as long as she'll have us 💜”

Elaine kept me updated on Bailey’s status and activities every day, including photos, which brought me peace of mind while I was traveling. “It was a really great experience boarding my cat with Ashley. She sent pictures showing her playing with him and he looked very happy. Her house and yard are very peaceful and well-suited for dogs or cats. Her two cats were friendly. I'll definitely book with Ashley again if I need someone to watch my cat!”
“Ann and her family always take excellent care of Tripp. Her dog, Pepito, is very sweet and gets along well with mine. Her daughters are so sweet with my dog and I know he is always very well loved and cared for when I am traveling. Ann takes care of Tripp regularly and I am very glad for her flexibility and help!”

Every day we were gone, Matt and his wife updated us with pictures of how our dog was doing without any nudging. We were able to relax and have a wonderful family vacation with no worries or concerns about our dog. He also got to play with so many other dogs that he had no time to even miss us which was a great plus! The next time we go out of town, we will be using their services again.”

“Moira was awesome! She took such great care of Rufus, sent a lot of pictures every day and filled me in on how he was while I was away! She went above and beyond with the meet and greet, having Rufus explore the place before going there to stay. She took him on walks and made sure to have water available and a foldable bowl for any moment he needed to drink. She was thoughtful throughout every part! I highly recommend her and couldn’t be happier with my Rover experience. :)”
