About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I’m used to all kinds of dogs whether it be age, energy level, or condition as I’ve had a mix of all at my job and growing up! I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. Max I’ll be gone is four hours, but that rarely happens. My dog is very friendly and energetic, but also knows when a dog doesn’t want to play. She’s very silly and loves to sleep! I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. A dogs safety and their comfort are a top priority for me! I also have a fenced in patio with dog grass if your pup needs a quick potty break!

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. “Manuela was a great caretaker for our senior dog, Rosie. She was very observant to our dog's needs and took care to make sure Rosie was comfortable in her new surroundings for the long weekend. Manuela sent us several updates with pictures. We really appreciate that Manuela went above and beyond and look forward to Rosie staying with her again!”
“Kristin and Bruce were fantastic. From the moment we stepped into their home they were welcoming of us and our dog, and it was obvious we made the right choice. They were loving and caring and we are certain that carried on throughout our dogs stay with them. Pictures and updates were sent and they kept to her normal routine, even when sleeping. Our dog was excited to see us again...but was torn and demanding good byes from Kristen, Bruce, and the kids (hoping to go back). Definitely a wonderful experience for us and your dog!”
