“Mary and her family were absolutely wonderful sitters for Grizzy! They took great care of him during a cold snap, making sure he was warm and comfortable. Mary sent wonderful updates and absolutely adorable pictures, and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Edith is the sweetest dog lover out there. My dog was so happy when I picked him up and could tell he was well loved and cared for. I will be booking with Edith anytime I need in the future!”

“Sofi took incredible care of our girl! She was always responsive and sent us frequent updates where I could see how happy Kiwi was. She is very knowledgeable about pet care and I would trust her with Kiwi anytime! Thank you again for giving so much love to Kiwi!!”

“Ronalisa did wonderfully! Floyd is high energy and can be pushy- so at first I was worried as we had never boarded through Rover before. But it was quickly apparent than Rona was confident and capable even with young and crazy dogs like Floyd. She always got back to me quickly and sent the cutest videos of them playing fetch, swimming, and hiking around. Her dogs are also great too! They helped Floyd play appropriately but still have fun. I would love to board with Rona again”

“Beatrice did a great job watching over Chopa :) She sent messages and pictures to provide updates during the boarding which was great! I would definitely reach out to her again when we need boarding service again”

“My 4 legged member of the family had the blessing of spending the weekend with Stephanie. She kept me updated on his stay with videos and pictures. He went for walks and played in their backyard.”

“Jessica was phenomenal! She watched our 2 dogs over our wedding weekend. We wanted one of them to join us for a bit and she was so helpful, even came and picked her up. She sent lots of photos and updates. We had a meet and greet on her yard so our dogs could meet hers. We will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Zara had a blast, definitely a safe and fun place for her to stay. She was very well cared for and we received updates while we were gone for almost a week.”

“Da Yeon was wonderful!! Jada had a great time and we felt very comfortable leaving her. We were sent pictures, which was also great. Additionally, Jada had been groomed when we picked her up which was an added bonus! We will definitely use Da Yeon in the future!”

“Margaret was great with our dog, Comet! She sent photos and updates and Comet seemed very happy both in the photos and when we got back. I would highly recommend booking Margaret and we will try and book her again in the future!”

“Fabulous! Mack gave her 4 paws up and he would have given her more but he only has 4 paws. He has been online trying one to buy me more airline trips so he can go back to Steph and live the good life. Can’t praise her enough. Deb Spencley”

“Tanya and Hutch could not have done a better job making Molly feel at home with them. You’re getting professional grade photos of your dog every day as well:) Thank you both so much:) Pete and Anne Jones”

“We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing Toffee was happy, safe, and so well cared for. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with Jenny and her lovely family again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Flash had a fun-filled weekend with Lauren and Gabby. Lots of walks and playtime, and he was a tired pup when we picked him up. We appreciated the photos and videos. Flash is looking forward to his next visit!”

“Good communication & flexible with drop off & pick up. Emily made me feel comfortable leaving my girl. She didn't even need the anxiety meds I sent! (my dog, not Emily) =)”

“Our two dogs had a great stay with Michele and her family, and we couldn't be happier with their care! We've had a long-term house and dog sitter who recently relocated away from town, so our dogs had never had the experience of staying away from home without us before. We were a little concerned about how that would go, but right from the start we were reassured by Michelle's friendliness, her evident dog smarts, and her long experience with (sometimes challenging) pups. Before and throughout the boarding process, communication was just right -- clear and relevant, frequent enough to be reassuring but not at all excessive. When we returned home and picked up the dogs, they were in great shape: happy, relaxed, and clearly in no rush to leave Michelle and her family behind :) We'll definitely hope to have them stay again in the future.”

“Robert was a great host for Mazzi. He sent daily updates/photos. Robert has a large backyard that Mazzi loved to run around during play time.”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! Great communicator — with people and pets alike. Very attentive to my kitty and spent time laying on the ground and meeting him where he was to earn trust and make him comfortable. Definitely recommend!!”

“Natalie was an amazing sitter! She followed our directions and sent lots of wonderful pictures and updates. She went above and beyond in bringing in our mail and cleaning up after one of our cats. Our three kitties were well cared for and loved while we were gone. Will definitely hire again!”

“Eleyna was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Oliver! She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy while I was away. She was very communicative and sent thoughtful updates, photos, and notes that showed how much care she put into every visit. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Oliver was in such kind and capable hands. Eleyna is not only dependable and professional but also genuinely lovely to work with!!”

“My pups loved Beatrice during her drop-in visits throughout the week! She provided great pictures of both of them which let me knew that my dogs were well taken care of while I was busy at work. Thank you so much! I will definitely book her again for other dates! :)”

“Katherine has great cat energy! My super shy girl was out snuggling up with her on day one - almost unheard of! Very impressed with her patience and care in looking after my cat.”

“Kali is such a wonderful sitter. We feel completely at ease when we’re away and have her checking in on our cats. She’s managed to make our shy kitty into a social butterfly and is incredibly responsible and detail-oriented. Can’t say enough good things about her!!!”

“Sumedha was wonderful looking after my cats again (with an extra cat added this time). Her notes from the visits are detailed and fun to read, and I am happy to know that my cats are safe in her hands.”

“Jen took a VERY last minute booking request from me and was super accommodating and quick to respond. My girl can be very hesitant of new people and she gave Jen some sass, but she was very patient and understanding with her. I appreciated her flexibility and kindness so much!!”

“Vanessa was such a sweet and professional cat sitter for my pet. He was experiencing some bathroom issues right before I was scheduled to leave and she handled the new diet accommodations with ease. She was sure to give my kitty lots of cuddles and play time, and was great about keeping his bowl hygienic in between meals. I highly recommend her!”

“Seanna was great. My cats grew to like her quickly. She was easy to schedule time with, came on the planned days and times, took great pictures of the cats, and listened to all the quirks necessary for caring for them. Would definitely use her services again.”

“I really appreciate the love and attention Rhiannon gave during the visits. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands while I was away. The updates and photos were so thoughtful and made me feel connected even from afar. Thank you for keeping everything clean and making ssure they were happy and comfortable. I’ll definitely reach out again next time I need help. You were amazing!”

“We've never had anyone watch our cats except for family. I was extremely nervous, but after reading Abigail's profile, and watching her interact with our cats at the initial meeting, I knew I had found the right person! Abigail took lots of notes and asked tons of questions to make sure she had all the information to not only cat sit, but stay in our house for 12 days. Both cats immediately took to her like they were long lost besties. We were out of the country, but I received multiple photo's and video's every day so we never felt like we were so far away. The people we were traveling with were impressed with the number of pictures, updates and video's we received. Somehow she even got the picky eater cats to eat more than they do during a normal day. If I ever need someone to care for our pets in the future, Abigail will be the first person I look for!”

“Amy was great! I could tell see really cared about the cats. She did an amazing job catering for my more shy cat, making sure she got food even though she was hiding.”

“Karly is awesome! She was super communicative, reliable, and conscientious while taking care of my cat, which was comforting since this was my first time leaving my recently adopted fur baby. I’l definitely be reaching out to Karly when I need to travel again!”

No matter what it says on here I am always taking new pets! Sometimes this app randomly changes my availability or accessibility. Please ALWAYS REACH OUT!!! I am a student but in my free time i love to take care of and hangout with peoples animals! I am still figuring out pricing! I will respect your home and pet. I will play with them outside if they have a yard and make sure they feel loved. I will always be responsible and take great care of them.

“Lorelei and Gail watched Pistachio for us while we were getting married! They sent us so many of pictures and videos of Pistachio happily playing with their dogs, it made our eventful evening even better. Pistachio came home tired and happy. We truly appreciate the care and communication.”

“My pup Popsicle loves Cynthia and gets so excited to see her! Cynthia gives excellent ‘pupdates’ and is super-communicative, so when you’re away from your pup (and missing them), you’ll get beautiful pics and updates. She treats my pup like family, and I’ve hired her again and again!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. The following summer, my family and I realized how incomplete our lives felt without dogs, so we decide to rescue two more senior dogs, Beanie and Pam! I am heartbroken to say Pam passed away May 17, 2026. My family believes that senior dogs are often overlooked and forgotten, but I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of your furry friend! I will be taking asynchronous summer classes starting in mid-June. I’m hoping to start working as a PCW twice a week. I’m also waiting to hear back from research/phlebotomy positions. However, as of now, I am completely free all day every day! Studio apartment! Can take outside for walks etc. I want to ensure I’m home the whole time since it will be a new environment! Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter! I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry friend.
“Edith is your dream sitter. She posts daily photos and updates of your pet. She obviously loves what she does. She is a lovely soul and my Mimi, who can be shy, had her tail up in the photos which made me feel reassured that she was in a safe, loving environment.”

About: I have taken care of dogs from all age groups. Whether a senior dog who needs frequent bathroom breaks or a puppy who wants lots of attention and reinforcement, I love all of them. Besides, being a tennis player means I gotta put my unlimited supply of balls to use:) I work from home three days a week. If our furry guest prefers lots of attention or frequent bathroom breaks, it would be a perfect match. I only take in one dog a time. There won’t be other pets at home. There’s a dog run in my apartment complex. I also live within walking distance of a dog park.
About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, so I understand the different needs of every animal. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a bit more care and attention, I know how to adapt. Whether it's providing daily walks, offering training, or simply offering companionship, I ensure every pet feels comfortable and loved. I believe in treating each pet as an individual, providing the right care for their unique personality, and making sure they feel safe and happy in your absence. As a student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I don’t have classes on Mondays or Fridays, and during the week I have breaks between classes—perfect for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. I also spend most evenings and nights at home, which makes boarding a great fit for me. I love having animals around and giving them the time, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure the space is safe, calm, and comfortable. For dogs, I can easily crate them if needed and always keep a leash on hand for safety during walks and potty breaks. I follow their routine closely to help them feel at home. For cats, I have plenty of toys and love spending time playing, feeding, and giving them the quiet companionship they enjoy during visits.
About: Former full-time human medical provider of 18 years; now available for pup sitting. Takes frequent walks with the neighborhood dog pack. Owner of one special dog named Tennessee. I’m free to organize my schedule between pet sitting and working on my business. Currently available most days until July 20th! Will update calendar when I know more. I like routine. I think pets appreciate kibble and potty breaks on a familiar schedule. I will honor your wishes for care, play, walks, and socializing.
“Jenny and Darin were great! They provided updates throughout the day and took great care of our slightly anxious puppy :) Will definitely book with them again!”

“Ben and Kassy were awesome! My dog DouDou was only 8 months old and very nervous and shy and we booked a daycare first to let him get along with them and make new friends. They try their best to help familiarize him with their place, and their dogs. I can tell they love dogs a lot!”

“Seanna is great! She gave my shy dog ren a bath here in my apartment so that she didn't have to go to a groomer or a self doggy wash where it would be a lot scarier for her! Thanks so much seasna!”

About: I've spent most of my life around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family since high school. I have a soft spot for older pets, so I understand that they often need more attention, which I am happy to provide. Whether it's sticking to a routine, administering medication, or keeping company, I'm comfortable handing your pet's unique needs. I currently don't have my own pet, but I'd love to care for yours! I'm currently a graduate student who is working from home for most of the summer, so I am available weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I love taking screen-time breaks throughout the day, and taking care of animals is a great way to do so. I treat every home visit with diligence and respect. I follow routines closely and make sure your animal(s) and home are secure before, during, and after my visit. I appreciate detailed instructions and will send updates as frequently as you'd like.
About: I grew up with cats as pets but i’ve always loved being around all animals. I adopted my first dog in college and that really kickstarted my appreciation for dogs! Since then, I’ve moved to a place where I cannot have pets so sitting through Rover has helped fill that gap in my life. I currently work full time Monday through Friday but can be fairly flexible with my schedule, and I work from home a lot so I could fit a drop-in or dog walking booking into my weekdays from time to time. I am willing to care for your pets in any way needed and am open to learning new things and ways of doing things. I will take your dog on any length walk they need, play outside or inside, feeding, grooming, and just plain spending time with them. As of right now I am only open to providing care in your home, as I currently live in a no pets allowed building.

“Marlena was able to fit me in for a last-minute dog walk. She was quick with responding to messages and sent several photos of my dog on the walk. My dog seemed very comforable with her.”

“Jamie is awesome! She went above and beyond our expectations while taking care of our boys!! She is very professional and took the time to meet the boys before our scheduled dates with her. We got great pictures from her!! We will definitely be using her again”

“Hillary did an amazing job walking my shy pup and quickly won her over! In addition to being amazing with my dog, Hillary did and excellent job communicating with me about how my dog did on their walks, tactics she used to help build up my dog's confidence, and Hillary even helped clean up a potted plant that my dog had knocked over one day. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

About: I am a vet student who has experience taking care of other dogs, cats, and even birds while working in a vet clinic! I am able to administer medications, take care of senior pets, and those with disabilities!! Growing up, I also have taken care of both cats and dogs in my family😊. I am currently only working virtually and part-time for a research paper in veterinary medicine, so I am able to comfortably accommodate Rover and pet-sitting in my schedule! I have learned in the past to adhere to owners’ specific instructions and ask questions if they arise to provide the best care for their pet. While taking care of pets in the vet clinic, I respect their boundaries, closely monitor their health/behavior, and try to minimize any stress or fear they could be experiencing. With pets at home, I love to spend as much time giving them love and affection or stimulating their mind with play-time and toys!
“Sophie was fantastic with Alfie! She walked him for 5 days and did an amazing job every time — always reliable, punctual, and clearly great with dogs. Alfie came back happy and tired out after each walk. I’d highly recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring walker. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kaelyn was great! I was in town for a client-related travel/staying at a hotel and she was flexible for my one-off request and day-of tweaks. She's very easygoing, but has an attention to detail for when we had to switch from dog walks to drop-in visits instead. Given it was a hotel space, she was able to provide A+ care for Delphi given the temporary space/resources even I wasn't fully familiar with.”

“Lensy is so wonderful! She’s consistently communicative and sends such fun photos. Absolutely incredible to have her care for Petey & shows above and beyond consideration for both my pets :) Look forward to having her walk again!”

About: I just graduated from UW and am looking to make some extra money while in my gap year before law school! I’ve loved dogs ever since I can remember, always begging my parents for a dog for my birthday and Christmas, but these past few years I’ve gotten more into caring for dogs. I worked at a doggy daycare in high school, I’ve had a dog since I was little, and during my undergrad summers I dog sat pretty much constantly. I got my own dog almost 2 years ago now and have cared for him all on my own since the day I rescued him. It always makes my day to see your pups and I love hanging out with and caring for them in whatever capacity you may need! I will give a caring and nurturing environment to your pups so they don’t even notice that you’re gone! And I can also follow your instructions exactly as you leave them so that your dogs routine doesn’t change at all
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have three of my own, so caring for pets has always been a part of my daily life. I’ve also house-sat for three dogs for two weeks, making sure they stayed on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. In addition, I used to foster dogs, which gave me experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, dependable, and will treat your pets like they’re my own while you’re away. I work a part-time job with a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care throughout the week and on weekends. I’ll make sure your pet sticks to their normal routine and gets lots of love, playtime, exercise, and attention while you’re away Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions, keep a close eye on your pet, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. Having three dogs of my own and experience fostering and house-sitting, I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I am a recent graduate of Purdue University in Indiana, now pursuing a law degree at the University of Wisconsin! I am an avid animal lover, and know I will be missing my own mini bernedoodle (Moose) while I am away for school! I have been dog sitting/house sitting/babysitting/etc. ever since I got my driver’s license at 16! I love spending time with others’ pups! I would love to meet you and help you and your pup out however I can! I am a full time student, with a somewhat flexible schedule. I anticipate that my days will involve a lot of studying, but will allow for some flexibility for me to help with potty breaks, walks, feedings, and more! I want to care for your pets in a way that meets all of their individual needs! I am happy to cater to their schedule, preferences, etc. whenever my school schedule allows! Unfortunately my lease does not allow me to care for pets in my home.
“Lizzi was very responsive and flexible when I reached out and prompt and easy to chat with when she came by. Layla then got to go for her first walk with Lizzi which was a satisfyingly long one around the neighborhood for her. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Lizzi; we booked our next walk right away!”

I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. Plenty of time to play and take care of your pets. I follow and respect all given instructions. I also make it a point to reach out whenever there are concerns or to send some updates/pictures. I genuinely care about the well-being of your pets and respecting your time.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I cared for rabbits, hamsters, mice, and a pet rat. Today I share my home with my 13 year old cat, Meeko, and my housemate’s friendly 12 year old dog. I recently said goodbye to my senior cat after 16 wonderful years together. During the last few years of his life, I administered medication multiple times a day and became experienced in caring for an aging pet with extra medical needs. That experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding that every pet deserves individualized, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before and after work, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. I also offer limited weekend boarding for one dog at a time so I can provide each guest with plenty of individual attention and care. My goal is to be flexible while making sure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know pets thrive on routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, favorite toys, and bedtime routines. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of affection. I understand that having a stranger in the house can be stressful for both pets and owners, so I’ll always treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. For boarding, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play. I only accept one boarding dog at a time so I can provide a calm, personalized experience and ensure every pet receives plenty of attention. My home also includes my cat and my housemate’s dog, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around cats and other dogs. This helps create a calm, safe environment for everyone.

“First time using Rover. Brad was available for Thanksgiving. Close to home. Flexible on drop off and pick up times. Responsive. Sent pup updates. Had other dogs to play with. Fenced in yard. Easy to work with. Would recommend and use again.”

“I can’t recommend Tom enough! He accepted my last minute dog boarding request and took great care of my dogs. His communication was great and he was very quick to respond to all my texts. My dogs were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I highly recommend Tom and will be booking with him again in the future.”
