About: Hello pet parents! This is Avery and you are probably here to find someone who will take care of your pet(s) just like you would. I am your person! I have grown up with dogs my entire life ranging from miniature dachshunds to saint bernards! I have experience from watching family and friends pets to taking special care of my two puppers. I have also volunteered a great deal of time at my former city’s local humane society walking and playing with all different breeds of dogs. I know how stressful it can be finding someone to care for pets during the busy days, so I would love to help others not have to worry so much because I’ve been there! I have two doggos of my own, Lola and Arthur. I’ve had Lola since I was 15 and she went through my college years and now into adulthood and Arthur later joined us. Joseph (Jay) is my partner who also shares our Rover account due to living in the same household. He joined because the account too because if we have people’s pets over, we want them to be comfortable with both of us! Or if you have two dogs that need care we can both come over and give them individual attention, depending on your preferences. I am opening up my schedule for boarding pet care- currently for small dogs only. I am also open to drop in visits on week day afternoons and some weekends- Mount Horeb only. We follow a consistent routine of going out and exploring. We walk in the morning and night with potty breaks in between every 3-4 hours. I am very picky about my dogs and who takes care of them, so I would be exactly the same with your dogs and pets!

I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday 10:30am to 7pm! I have plenty of time in the morning before work for pet care and after work. About: I have a dog of my own and I’ve done boarding, drop ins and walks before. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house and have watched family friends dogs numerous amounts of times. I currently work full time (8-4:30) during the week, but can do evenings on week days and any time during weekends! I am very flexible and can make anything work! I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

About: We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 9 and 5. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you! My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk! We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.
