I would absolutely recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. 10/10!”

“Ryan and Martha and their family have been a saving grace for me! Willow loves going over there, and clearly feels right at home. They send photos throughout her stay, and are so gracious with their time and thoughtfulness.”

“Edith was great with our puppy Artemis! We were able to meet beforehand for a short notice meet and greet before the holidays. Artemis got along really well with her two dogs and it seemed like he was having a lot of fun throughout the day- he came back exhausted and happy to see us after a couple of weeks, but we could tell that he was well taken care of. Edith sent frequent picture updates, and we felt like he was in good hands the whole time. I would definitely book Artemis here again in the future!”

“Our quirky rescue pup was so well taken care of while we were away! In every update we got it was clear that our dog was feeling more and more comfortable and was left in good hands. We will definitely book again!”

“We really appreciated Hannah. She was prompt and professional and showed immense comfort around my 3 dogs who had never been let out by someone they didn't know. I'd use her every time!”

“Amy did such an amazing job! Even my shy cat came out for photos. She took extra care to ensure she was playing with them, which felt great as some people assume “they are just cats” and don’t need that extra interaction. Her updates were thorough, and I’m definitely getting some of the pictures she took of them framed!! After an especially scarring experience with a prior sitter, it feels nice to be able to trust someone again. Will definitely be using her again”

“Vanessa is seriously amazing! She went above and beyond and was so attentive to all of my cats different needs. She sent detailed updates throughout every visit, which made me feel so at ease while I was away. I truly couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Nate was a great caretaker to our 2 cats. He came over and took notes on the care of our pets, where things were kept and food/water care, and really assured us before we left that he would take care of our pets. Nate checked in every day with photos and updates on our cats condition. We had a great experience and would definitely book with him again. Thanks Nate!”

“Stacey is the best cat sitter I've ever used! I had to leave the country for a month, and she took excellent care of my cat. I received several pictures daily and detailed updates, which reassured me he was in good hands. Even during a building fire alarm, she visited him to ensure his safety.”

“Our kitty is extremely shy around new people, so I don't think Brittany was able to see much of her, but Brittany was great. She made sure Inara always had fresh water and a clean litter box and provided a reassuring presence once a day while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. I highly recommend her! We will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, bunnies, and more! I’ve administered medications and eye drops, cared for elderly pets, and provided therapy support when needed. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I’m comfortable with animals big and small. I have two cats of my own and treat every pet like family. Available for dog walking, drop-ins, overnight stays, and all-around loving care. I’m pretty much free Thursday after 4pm through Sunday! During the week (Monday through Wednesday) is a little harder for me schedule, but I’m definitely still open, just let me know at least a week in advance so I can plan ahead😊 I provide gentle, loving care in your home, following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and ages, including elderly pets and those with special needs. I’m also happy to house sit if desired, keeping both your pets and home well cared for while you’re away. Every pet gets attention, affection, and a calm environment, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

“Natalie did an amazing job taking care of my babies! Two of the three can be a bit shy but they warmed up quiet quickly. I felt at ease leaving them in her care. Natalie is reliable and easy to get in contact with if needed! Highly recommend her!!”

“Isabel did an amazing job watching my cat Gio for the week. She was attentive & communicative. I really appreciated the regular photo updates as it gave me peace of mind knowing he was doing well while I was away. She was also very responsive and easy to coordinate with from start to finish. I’d absolutely trust her to watch Gio again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter. First time using Rover and was super happy with how it all went.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Capitol View Heights
“5+ stars. Such a great sitter. Our dog Holly had a wonderful time there. Holly did a ton of running and playing with the other dogs. Originally we had Holly to just be watched during the day. I had something come up that night and Emma agreed to keep Holly overnight and I picked Holly up afternoon next day. Emma is an awesome dog watcher and I highly recommend!! Will be back again!! A+ work”

“Toffee and truffle had a wonderful time at Lorelai and Kayla’s place. They sent lots of pictures and were very accommodating with regards to drop off and pick up times.”
“We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I’m used to all kinds of dogs whether it be age, energy level, or condition as I’ve had a mix of all at my job and growing up! I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. Max I’ll be gone is four hours, but that rarely happens. My dog is very friendly and energetic, but also knows when a dog doesn’t want to play. She’s very silly and loves to sleep! I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. A dogs safety and their comfort are a top priority for me! I also have a fenced in patio with dog grass if your pup needs a quick potty break!
“Robert made Ollie feel at home and spent quality time with him during his first-ever Rover visit. Took him outside often, which I’m sure Ollie loved! Also, he was great with updates!!”

“Wolfy had such a great day with Mary and her family. He can back very happy, and Mary sent several lovely photos of his time. Mary was also flexible with me when my plans changed after booking, which was so appreciated.”
“Manuela was great with our dog and I know our dog loved spending time with her! I was nervous to leave our dog with a new person at first, but Manuela met us beforehand and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend Manuela to anyone looking for care for their pet! She treats pets as if they were her own!”

“Yecid was very attentive to my dog's care. He followed Max's feeding instructions and kept me informed and sent me photos throughout the day. I truly recommend this sitter. Thank you for your services, which I will use in the future.”

About: Former full-time human medical provider of 18 years; now available for pup sitting. Takes frequent walks with the neighborhood dog pack. Owner of one special dog named Tennessee. I’m free to organize my schedule between pet sitting and working on my business. Currently available most days until July 20th! Will update calendar when I know more. I like routine. I think pets appreciate kibble and potty breaks on a familiar schedule. I will honor your wishes for care, play, walks, and socializing.
“Cynthia was so kind and loving to my two pups! We had a very last minute request, and she was still able to accommodate us. She took our two pups on walks to the park, and they came home so happy and tired from their day of fun. I would highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a top-tier dog sitter!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. The following summer, my family and I realized how incomplete our lives felt without dogs, so we decide to rescue two more senior dogs, Beanie and Pam! I am heartbroken to say Pam passed away May 17, 2026. My family believes that senior dogs are often overlooked and forgotten, but I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of your furry friend! I will be taking asynchronous summer classes starting in mid-June. I’m hoping to start working as a PCW twice a week. I’m also waiting to hear back from research/phlebotomy positions. However, as of now, I am completely free all day every day! Studio apartment! Can take outside for walks etc. I want to ensure I’m home the whole time since it will be a new environment! Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter! I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry friend.
About: I have taken care of dogs from all age groups. Whether a senior dog who needs frequent bathroom breaks or a puppy who wants lots of attention and reinforcement, I love all of them. Besides, being a tennis player means I gotta put my unlimited supply of balls to use:) I work from home three days a week. If our furry guest prefers lots of attention or frequent bathroom breaks, it would be a perfect match. I only take in one dog a time. There won’t be other pets at home. There’s a dog run in my apartment complex. I also live within walking distance of a dog park.
About: I am a person who truly loves taking care of dogs. I believe they are extremely important members of our lives and our families. Dogs bring joy, love, and positive energy into our home, and they always make us feel happier and more comfortable. I enjoy spending time with them, caring for their needs, and making sure they feel safe and loved. For me, dogs are not just pets, they are loyal companions who make our home a better place. Many years ago, I worked as a caregiver, and I have many years of experience taking care of dogs. Through that experience, I have learned how to understand how dogs feel by observing their actions, behavior, and body language. I pay close attention to their needs, moods, and energy levels to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Caring for dogs is something I take very seriously and do with patience and dedication. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I follow the pet’s regular routine, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, and rest. I pay close attention to their behavior and body language to understand how they are feeling and to meet their needs. I also keep their living area clean, provide exercise and companionship, and communicate with owners to ensure their pets are happy and well cared for.

“Kind and professional, very easy to work with and quick to respond. I needed somewhere for my girl to go where she could be around other dogs while I was swamped for the day, within 1 hour I had a daycare appointment set up with Brad. He sent me pictures of her smiling and cuddling while she was there. Will definitely be going back.”

“Grace was great to work with! She was very quick to respond and provided me with the peace of mind that my dog was well taken care of. Highly recommend Grace to anyone in the Madison area!”

“Jenny and Darin were great! They provided updates throughout the day and took great care of our slightly anxious puppy :) Will definitely book with them again!”

About: Hello there! While growing up with dogs it was very clear to me from an early age that dogs are the most warm amazing creatures. While we don't have any pets of our own right now our most recent best friend was a rescue Maltipoo who required special care and I truly adored taking care of her. Which is why you can trust me to love your family member as of it were my own! My typical day is really flexible. l workout in the morning however, I stay at home so I'm lucky my entire day has plenty of time freedom so I can love and cuddle your fur baby 24/7 which is important to me. I grew up in this area and have been here my whole life. My husband and I bought a house in Fitchburg 5 years ago and absolutely love our safe quiet little neighborhood. We have sidewalks and I love walking dogs- most likely wouldn't even see anyone else on our walks because of how quaint it is here. I can easily crate your dog if you prefer but in my home your pet is created like a human and is welcome to sleep in bed with me and to follow me around and be my shadow during the day!
“My 7-month-old Jazzy Girl whines in excitement when we arrive at Suellen's, and once out of the car, she races up the steps, eager to be with her friends, Suellen's dogs, Mia & Wes. They all play well together.”

“Very satisfied and happy thus far with Nate's care of our puppy. He's been extremely responsive to communication, prompt and timely for scheduled walks, sends fun photos during their time together, and our puppy seems to have taken very well to him. I would have no hesitations recommending him to friends or family!”

About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.
“I needed some last minute help with my senior dog, and Alissa responded back quickly and was able to help me out!! She came to meet our pets and get the layout, and helped us out almost right away! She is very kind and gentle with our Murphy and even gives our two cats some loving even though we booked her for a dog walk! As someone with OCD and anxiety, my brain and body feel comfortable and safe with Alissa taking care of our senior puppy when we aren’t at home. Looking forward to hopefully booking with her again!!”

About: I grew up with anywhere from 2-4 dogs of all sizes and medical needs, so I have heaps of experience with walks, playtime, and cuddles! I'm always the first one my friends call when they need a companion for their best friend! I have experience with older dogs, especially providing them with comfortable resting spots and lots of calm love. I work remote with a very flexible schedule for afternoon walks, play-time, and potty breaks. I can work from mostly anywhere with wifi and very rarely have meetings or time-sensitive obligations. I have experience with crate-trained dogs and can play with your furry best friend in your home, or take them to a park for some leashed playtime. I love long walks and love having a companion on my walks even more. I also enjoy running and would be happy to take your dog out on a run with me (if healthy for them).
“Olivia took great care of our dog Lily. She went out of her way to meet us ahead of time to make sure Lily was comfortable with her. Olivia was also great in making sure Lily had everything she needed after/during her walks.”

“Kaelyn was great! I was in town for a client-related travel/staying at a hotel and she was flexible for my one-off request and day-of tweaks. She's very easygoing, but has an attention to detail for when we had to switch from dog walks to drop-in visits instead. Given it was a hotel space, she was able to provide A+ care for Delphi given the temporary space/resources even I wasn't fully familiar with.”

About: I’m always excited to meet new pet friends! I have veterinary assistant experience. I am comfortable giving medications or more complex treatments such as insulin injections. I have an open and flexible schedule. I can do daily drop in visits and walks as needed. Since my time may fill up with other pet sitting appointments, early notice is preferred. I like to learn as much as possible about your fur babies’ personalities so I can cater to your pet’s behavioral needs and preferences. For walk safety, I like to use harnesses over collars to make sure your pup has less risk of slipping away.
About: I’ve owned dogs, cats, horses for years. No job is too big. I used to work in veterinary medicine as a technician. I am comfortable with medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, etc. I currently work full time at Labcorp. I am able to stop morning and evenings around work and then more on weekends! If you need services overnight I do try to check on my kitties before settling in with your pet for the night. In the client home I am very respectful of spaces and leave it as found. I will follow all rules both for myself and for your pet. Your and your pets trust, safety, and comfortableness is my number priority.
About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.
“So far it’s been great. Jackson really listens to everything that you mention about your pet (a huge change from previous dog walkers we’ve used). He takes great photos, and I know our dog will be well taken care of on his daily walk. He’s also very responsive (another great change from previous experiences). Thanks for taking great care of Remmy.”

About: I am a dog, cat and pet lover. I will stop 10/10 times to pet a dog and learn about him or her. At the local park, I know most of the dogs by their names and ironically, few of the owners haha. I would love the opportunity to spend time with someone's best friend and help out! I am very attentive, detail oriented and careful with animals. I also know animals are more than "pets" they are just like family. I would be honored to help take care of someone's best friend for a few hours or days to help out. I offer a safe, secure space for someones pet as well as close access to a park and outdoor space. I am available for walks as well as for visits or assistance on Fridays and most weekends. I believe dogs help people just as much as people help dogs! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate pet parents and their schedules as needed. I am able to offer short or longer walks, pet sitting and other services as needed. In my home, I have a clear open space and am able to spend close time with my clients pets while they are in my care. We are just a short distance to a small park with plenty of outside walking options. We can sit and watch tv, play catch, or take naps.
“Hillary did an amazing job walking my shy pup and quickly won her over! In addition to being amazing with my dog, Hillary did and excellent job communicating with me about how my dog did on their walks, tactics she used to help build up my dog's confidence, and Hillary even helped clean up a potted plant that my dog had knocked over one day. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life which convinced me to get my own dog a little over two years ago! I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and adventures around town. My dog is black and has thick fur so it definitely depends on the weather where we end up going on a walk (whether there is water or a shaded area). I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if they enjoy other pups. I can watch small dogs and big dogs (who might pull the leash a little harder). I am a teacher currently so I have the summer to have a chill job that’s flexible for my needs and other peoples needs as well. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. If you have a schedule where you need to let your dog out every other hour I can help out. I can also do something more chill where they just need to be fed early morning or late at night. Taking trips and being busy is part of life so I will help ease your stress about your little fur babies schedule.

About: I wanted a dog all my life, and I wish that I could say that I grew up with a dog, but my dad was allergic. Whenever I had the opportunity to care for neighbors' pets, I did and knew that I would adopt a dog as soon as I was a real adult (and financially stable). As soon as I moved from California and landed a permanent job, I adopted an Akita puppy. She (Clipsy) was my only family in the Midwest for 14 years, and I couldn't have loved her more. Our second dog, Zuki, is a rescue from Texas. Because she's a rescue, she has some anxiety whenever we leave, so I understand what it's like to want the best care for your pet (not in a kennel). Zuki loves friend dogs, so one reason we're dogsitting is because we want her to enjoy the company of another dog. Her bestie passed away from old age last year, and she would welcome company. Both my husband and I are animal lovers, of course. Zuki is mixed breed (cattle dog, lab, pyrenees, etc.), medium-sized dog who regularly plays at dog parks and is well socialized. I think that she would get along with any other non-aggressive dog as long as they go on a short walk together first. It's always best to meet in neutral territory, and we would prefer a quick preliminary meeting with our dogs before the actual dogsitting date. We also have 9 chickens, and Zuki is trained to guard them from hawks or other predators. We realize that most dogs will chase chickens, so your dog would be on a leash or the chickens will be cooped if your dog wants to explore the relatively large backyard. If your dog finds chicken poop tasty, they will be closely supervised because...you know. My husband works remotely, and I teach but am relatively free in the summer. Thus, we have time to make sure that you dog is comfortable in our house and gets attention & frequent potty breaks. The Winnequah Dream Park is one block away, and we normally go for 1-2 walks every day. We have three dog beds scattered throughout the house, so you don't have to lug along your dog bed if it's inconvenient. We also have spare dog bowls, leashes, a ton of dog toys to share, and a tie-out rope. I'm happy to text photos/videos of your dog daily if you'd like. If you're not a fan of texts, I'll give you more space. Rest assured, we will do whatever we can to make your dog comfortable. What we'd require: -Please make sure that your dog is fully vaccinated & has flea & tick protection. Chickens eat ticks, but I'll still do regular tick checks on your dog if it's tick season. -Contact number for emergencies, and name and contact information of your vet. -Your dog's normal food and possibly meds. (Our dog is not food possessive, but we'd feed them separately.) -Any special information regarding diet or personality that would make your dog feel content while you are away. Thank you for your consideration, Tanya & Hutch P.S. We intend to only board one dog at a time to ensure that your pet gets plenty of attention. If you happen to have two dogs, then we would make an exception and board both dogs because it would be cruel to separate them, right? I teach, but in the summer I have lots of time to pamper your fur baby! My husband works remotely, so the two of us are at home most of the time. It's a relatively quiet, calm household since we don't have children to send off to school, etc. Zuki and I spend a lot of the time outside. She lounges in the fenced-in yard while I garden. She's a pretty mellow dog although she's always excited to meet a new friend. She gets along with almost all dogs although I would want to walk our dogs together on neutral territory rather than "surprising" Zuki at home with a dog she doesn't know. My husband and I normally go for 1-2 walks a day anyway since he needs to "reset" after staring at a computer all day. The Winnequah Dream Park is conveniently located a block away, so we usually walk there. If you have a senior or slower dog, we could take it easy. If you have a dog that requires more exercise, we're happy to accommodate. I, too, could use more exercise. ;)
“Manuela took great care of our dog, Izzy, for the week. She asked detailed questions about Izzy's care routine to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible. We received photos and updates throughout the stay. We'd be happy for Izzy to stay with her again.”

“Suellen did a super job keeping our mini poodle happy and safe while we were gone on a long, long trip. Her dogs Mia and Wes tolerated our busy guy so well, and we got regular updates from Suellen of walks and backyard play. We so appreciate that Tuck came home as himself, silly and obsessive, not the stressed out guy he has been before when we’ve done kennel stays. Thanks!”

“Da Yeon is amazing! We’ve booked with her a couple times and long story short, our dog likes her more than us. She’s flexible, kind and includes our dog in her outings so he can get some time outdoors. Highly recommend!”

“Kaycee and Robert are the best! They took such good care of our little dog, who has never spent time away from us. They took him on walks, played with him, and kept him warm and safe. Our dog loved Tank (their dog) and the kids. He had a blast with this lovely family. They are kind and warm people who took excellent care of our dog. It is evident that they are expert dog owners who have fostered and trained many dogs. We will definitely book them next time we leave town. We highly recommend them!”
