About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: I have always loved animals. I was the kid that would bring stray animals home asking my parents if I could keep them. I have always had dogs in my family homes. I graduated from Iowa State University with an Animal Science degree in May of 2016. I have dog sat for other families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I honestly love dog sitting and I have even taken care of some turtles and tortoises. I don’t really think of pet sitting as a job, but rather an opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your family pets while you are on vacation or if you have other obligations. I know how difficult it is to find someone who cares for your animals as you do, and I would truly love to be that person.

About: Have been a pet owner all my life. I have had 4 dogs and 2 cats: 2 of the dogs were trained by me since they were puppies and I also have experience raising kittens. Super flexible and easy-going schedule! Due to my part-time job, I am primarily available Sunday-Tuesday; however, my schedule is extremely flexible so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! With any pet I am responsible for, safety and health are my first priority, as well as keeping them nice and happy! Bathroom breaks, feeding and watering, administering medications with pets of all ages are all things I am comfortable with.

About: I've taken care of people's pets for over 8 years. I typically do overnights on weekends, but I have experience with multi-week stays and could possibly accomodate for that depending on location! I'm a runner and a hiker and I usually like to take dogs on different adventures whether it's a run on a bike path or on the trails! I have experience with senior dogs and cats as well as younger, more lively pets! I am a full-time graduate student, so I am on campus in the mornings-afternoon. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets whether that's taking them for a walk mid-day, or providing care overnight. I also do housework at homes when asked such as taking care of plants, watering gardens, vacuuming and making sure you return to a spotless house! I am a full time graduate student so I am on campus from about 8am-2pm (at the latest). I do have some flexibility to stop by mid day to check in with your pet(s) as well. I work some weekends for maximum 3.5 hours, so I can plan to be home almost full time on weekends if needed. I am available for mid day walks on some days (Wednesday-Sunday) as well! I easily adapt to the home structure of the people I pet sit for. With clear instructions I can maintain your home routine for your pet(s) to keep consistency in your lives and pets lives!

About: I’ve taken care of my own family pets while growing up, been a dog/cat sitter for neighbors, and taken care of both young and geriatric dogs. I’m currently looking for a new full time job after getting married in July and moving to the Madison area from Milwaukee! I’m free any time weekdays and select weekend times:) I’m very outgoing and into exercise. I’m open to both running and walking dogs on trails or in suburban neighborhoods. During my undergraduate years, I spent several years volunteering at animal shelters and fostering animals with a wide range of ages, personalities, and care needs. I've cared for young puppies, kittens, adult cats, senior dogs, and older rescues who were still learning potty-training routines. Through these experiences, I've become comfortable working with shy, nervous, and anxious animals, as well as dogs who need extra patience on walks or tend to pull on the leash. I also have experience with basic puppy training, reinforcing commands, managing potty-training accidents, and caring for multiple pets at once. I'm experienced with administering both oral and injectable medications, and I understand the importance of carefully following each pet's specific care instructions. I grew up caring for my family's pug, who lived to be 15 years old, and I currently have a sweet 4 year old rescue dog. I've also fostered and cared for multiple dogs and cats in my home, so I'm familiar with managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. One of the biggest things fostering has taught me is that every animal is different. Some pets want to play all day, while others prefer quiet company or need a little extra time to warm up. I love getting to know each pet individually and making sure they receive the attention, patience, and affection that works best for them! I'm currently a graduate student at UW-Madison, and one of the best parts of my schedule is that my lab allows me very flexible hours! This gives me plenty of freedom throughout the week to work around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Since I'm not tied to a traditional 9 to 5 schedule, I can make time for dog walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight house sitting. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, your kitten wants some extra playtime, or your furry friend just needs someone to keep them company while you're away, I'm happy to help! I also have a 4 year old rescue dog of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime, and spending quality time with animals are already part of my everyday routine. I'm available most days and am happy to coordinate around your pet's usual schedule. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially those who are younger, older, or a little anxious, and I'll do my best to keep their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible. About: Hello! I study Vet Science at UW Madison and have extensive experience in both dog and cat humane societies, kennels, and have had dogs my whole life and cats for 3 years now. My dogs Jojo and Jagger are very energetic, and Indy is my tortie and the love of my life :) I am always available to talk and will respond quickly to messages! I am available weekends and weekdays, daily hours depending on my class schedule and your availability. I love to engage with pets and learn their body language, I will always have a ball or stick while walking your dog, but also understand when they need a break. My priority is making them feel as at home as possible, while earning experience in the field I love. About: I worked for a professional pet care service for almost a year and learned a lot about animals through that time! Overall I am an animal lover and can’t wait to meet your cute pets!! I’m currently a senior in college who has free time and thought I could use it to my advantage and meet some cute pets! I really want to get my own dog or cat when I graduate college and realized I could get some more experience:) I had a dog my whole life and will care for your pets as if they were my own. I do live in a college house with three roommates but am still open to pet sitting in my home if you are.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals including cats and dogs throughout my life. These animals have had varying temperaments and care requirements giving me a range of care experiences. I am a college student who is busy for some part of the morning and afternoon but can drop in about three times a day. In my own home, I have two cats and grew up with two dogs. Frequent walks for the dogs and enrichment for the cats are a staple.
