Ella has always held a special place in her heart for animals. She grew up in a home with adorable Westies, frogs, fish and a lizard. After school she would make her rounds visiting all of the neighborhood dogs, giving them lots of love and attention, walks, playing ball and even playing hide and seek with a brilliant golden doodle. These neighbors entrusted Ella to care for their cherished pets when they were away. In high school, Ella was chosen to care for the biology class gecko for the summer, as the teacher knew Ernie would be well taken care of. Ella's compassion for animals remains steadfast in adulthood. Working in a rehabilitation hospital, Ella coordinates pet therapy for her patients, as she fully understands the healing power of the animal human relationship. Ella is the only caregiver her sister trusts to care for her 120 lb. highly reactive, anxiety ridden Bernedoodle. Ella is truly a dog whisperer.
