About: I've been around dogs my whole life, but volunteering is where I really leveled up. Since 2022, I've been a canine companion at the Dane County Humane Society, working hands on with dogs of all kinds of temperaments. I'm actually designated as a "yellow" volunteer there, which means I work with dogs who tend to be more anxious or mouthy, so I've gone through extensive training (4-5+ hours specifically on dog behavior) to learn how to read them and help them feel calm and comfortable. Four years in, I've worked with pretty much every size, breed, and personality type out there. I've recently surpassed 300 hours of service! As for cats, I have two of my own, one is an absolute sweetheart and the other keeps me on my toes, so I know exactly how to work with cats who need a little extra patience and TLC. I'm looking forward to meeting your babies and caring for them like they're my own! Pet care fits easily into my routine. On weekdays, I'm usually done with work by 5pm, so I'm available for evening walks and dinner drop-ins. I'm also open to early mornings if needed, just with a little advance notice since I like to keep my calendar updated and make sure I can actually commit. Weekends I have more flexibility overall for walks, drop-ins, or whatever care is needed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always start by carefully reading through everything the owner sends me so I can follow their guidelines as closely as possible. I take notes right from the first introduction. I also love doing a drop-by visit before the actual care starts, just to get familiar with the house (how to get in, where everything is) and do a quick meet and greet with the pet while the owner's still there. That way they can get comfortable with me instead of just having a stranger show up. During that visit, I pay attention to the pet's temperament so I know how to adjust when I enter and how to engage with them. I also make sure I know their favorite toys, what and how much they eat, any medications, and anything else important. My goal is always to be knowledgeable, calm, and to match the pet's energy rather than force my own.

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

About: I have always loved animals. I was the kid that would bring stray animals home asking my parents if I could keep them. I have always had dogs in my family homes. I graduated from Iowa State University with an Animal Science degree in May of 2016. I have dog sat for other families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I honestly love dog sitting and I have even taken care of some turtles and tortoises. I don’t really think of pet sitting as a job, but rather an opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your family pets while you are on vacation or if you have other obligations. I know how difficult it is to find someone who cares for your animals as you do, and I would truly love to be that person.

About: I've had 2 family dogs and 4 cats! As well as helping take care of friends and roommates pets. I love them and it's fun for me, just thought it'd be a cute and easy way to make a little extra money. I work full time so can only do quicker drop-ins in the mornings and/or evenings during the week but could drop by more over weekends! Am good to drop by homes/apartments and feed/walk/hang out with pets for a bit, not available to care for them from my apartment.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was old enough to know what a pet was, whether it’s my own, a neighbor’s, or a friend/family member’s. I love animals, and am considering going into vet work! I have experience with both puppies/kittens and seniors as well :). I can walk, feed, give meds, and do anything you need! I’m a full-time student during the week, but I will always have time to drop-in, or stay overnight. I’m very flexible with my scheduling, so I will happily do whatever you and your pet need! While I can’t offer boarding at my home because I have four roommates, I will care for pets in every way possible no matter what! I know some nice parks for walks, and I’m also happy to chill if they’re a homebody! Again, entirely up to you and your pets needs :)

About: I’ve taken care of my own family pets while growing up, been a dog/cat sitter for neighbors, and taken care of both young and geriatric dogs. I’m currently looking for a new full time job after getting married in July and moving to the Madison area from Milwaukee! I’m free any time weekdays and select weekend times:) I’m very outgoing and into exercise. I’m open to both running and walking dogs on trails or in suburban neighborhoods. Dog sitting at your home is also something I’m open to!

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals including cats and dogs throughout my life. These animals have had varying temperaments and care requirements giving me a range of care experiences. I am a college student who is busy for some part of the morning and afternoon but can drop in about three times a day. In my own home, I have two cats and grew up with two dogs. Frequent walks for the dogs and enrichment for the cats are a staple.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 5 years old. I grew up in the country in Texas and at one point we had around 20 cats and 9 dogs. We took care of the strays that made their way onto our property, and sometimes adopted from shelters and random people. I was taught love and compassion for animals since I was a young child. I continue to embrace the kindness I have in my heart for animals everyday. I’m usually available most of the time, as I don’t have any full time work to tend to. I also do not celebrate holidays which can benefit pet owners very much because they can count on me being available as long as I have not already booked with someone else. I would be wonderful to your pup insuring they get enough potty breaks, walks if you would like, maybe the dog park upon your approval, and even car rides if you’d like! I offer complimentary treats.. I keep some in my home. And of course I would get them approved by my client first. For cats in my clients home, I would do the same things. I would also insure the cat box is clean, and lots of play time if that’s what the kitty likes :-)

About: I have over two years of experience with dog walking and dog sitting, along with professional experience working at a dog grooming facility and dog hotel. I was responsible for caring for dogs staying at the hotel, making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m also a dog owner myself! I have three dogs: Liah, a Shih Tzu, and Lilo and Lady, two Australian Labradoodles. Having three dogs with different personalities has given me plenty of experience with different needs, energy levels, and routines. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I give my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I make sure every dog gets the time and attention they need. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I’m happy to work with each owner’s schedule and their dog’s normal routine. From my experience working at a dog hotel, I understand the importance of following each dog’s routine, feeding instructions, and individual needs. In a client’s home, I’ll respect their space and follow all instructions carefully while making sure their dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
