“Hannah was great! She agreed to do 2 meet and greets since we were moving and came in to feed our kitten (16 year old prissy cat) and got her to take all her meds, no problem! Thank you, Hannah!”

“Upon meeting Lora I found a calm, mature, dog savy person who is a great listener :) my dogs are a bit of a handful, but they didn’t faze her lol! Great communication while we were gone. Will be using her for all our future needs.”

About: Designated dog carer for family, so I figured I would expand the circle. I love going for walks and love taking a pup with me. I am working a full-time job. Mondays and Fridays, I am available from 6 am to 9:30 am. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I am available anytime after 5:45 pm. Usually available anytime on the weekends for pet care and walking. My full-time job requires me to have respect and care for people's private information, so you can count on me to show the same respect and care for in-house sitting.

“Christina was everything her previous 5 star reviewers said and then some. This was our first experience of using Rover to take care of our 3 cats (one geriatric and two kittens) for drop in visits. She bought them toys, played cat games with them in addition to feeding and cleaning up. Came home to a very happy and content cat family! We have already set up additional cat:house sitting dates with Christina.”

About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.
“Darby is such a caring and thoughtful sitter! She gets better pictures of our cats than we do, and she is amazing at writing recaps of her visits. It gives us such peace of mind to know she’s taking care of our pets, and she really treats them like her own.”

“Megan was absolutely stellar! Her updates were incredibly thorough and she sent lots of pictures of all the pets, including the aquatic ones. Our kitty adored her, and it really made me feel safe to leave the pets knowing that she was there. Megan is a great sitter and I am really looking forward to booking with her again.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—growing up in a home full of fish, birds, cats, dogs, and rodents taught me early on that pets are family. I truly believe every animal deserves love, patience, and attentive care. Today, I share my home with my friendly dog Birdie, who loves meeting new furry friends and makes a great playmate. My two kids are also passionate animal lovers, and together we create a safe, warm, and pet-friendly environment. I’m experienced in administering medications, whether pills, drops, or topical treatments, and I’m happy to support pets with special needs. I also offer daily walks for exercise and enrichment, and I’m comfortable with crate training if it’s part of your routine. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own. I work full-time during the week, but on my weekends off, I love spending my time caring for animals. Pet care has always been a part of my life, and I’m excited to offer reliable, loving support to fellow pet parents when I’m available. Whether it’s weekend drop-ins, walks, or cuddles while you’re away, I’m here to help give your pets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is fully pet-friendly and thoughtfully pet-proofed to ensure a secure environment. I use baby gates to create designated pet areas, so dogs can have their own space or be kept out of certain rooms when needed. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard—perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Fresh water is always available in multiple areas of the home to keep pets hydrated throughout the day. Whether your pet loves to run or relax, they’ll have a secure, comfortable, and caring space to enjoy.
“Kathryn is amazing. Extremely attentive to my baby’s needs and super flexible with our schedule. Her communication goes beyond expectation and has made our experience of rover great!”

About: Hello, my name is Katy and I would love to care for your dog! I just finished a term with AmeriCorps and now work part-time in the service industry. My flexible schedule means I am free to walk or watch your pup! I understand that caring for your dog means understanding their individual needs. Please don't shy away from telling me your dog's specific needs and quirks. I want to make caring for your dog a great experience for both pet andowner. I bring passion and professionalism to this job and absolutely enjoy what I do. I have had dogs all my life and currently have an elderly chihuahua. Because of his health concerns and age, I'm not currently boarding dogs at my home. However, I would love to walk and sit your pups and can assure they will get attentive and safe care.
“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! Great communicator — with people and pets alike. Very attentive to my kitty and spent time laying on the ground and meeting him where he was to earn trust and make him comfortable. Definitely recommend!!”

“Stephanie checked on our dogs while we were away for a long day. She left a great recap of their time together and shared a few pics. Communicative and exactly what we needed when we were away the whole day!”

“Keely was a wonderful sitter for our cat. Getting the daily report card from Keely while we were away for a long time set my mind at ease and allowed me to relax. She took great pictures, allowing me to see that my kitty was doing just fine without me, and kept me up to date on the few small health concerns my cat has. She also took good care of the plants while I was gone! It was such a relief to have someone so thorough and reliable looking after my girl. I will absolutely book with Keely again!”

“Lacey was super responsive which was nice when booking, but she also genuinely cared about making sure my cat was getting enough love & attention while I was gone, which was awesome to know. Would defs have her cat-sit again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahar
Emma was so good with my little kitty. He is skiddish and doesn’t always like new people but she was patient and consistent with him. I greatly appreciated her coming in and giving him his meds and food and any love that he allowed her to give while I was gone.

Blanca was great taking care of my dog! She sent lots of picture updates and snuggled up with him, which is really all I needed. Finn really seemed to like her, and she went out of her way to train and clean up a pet stain (which wasn’t her fault at all). I’d definitely book with her again!

Christina was everything her previous 5 star reviewers said and then some. This was our first experience of using Rover to take care of our 3 cats (one geriatric and two kittens) for drop in visits. She bought them toys, played cat games with them in addition to feeding and cleaning up. Came home to a very happy and content cat family! We had a wonderful experience with Ayla! They took such great care of our three cats while we were away and truly went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout every visit and I felt comfortable reaching out and asking questions in between. Ayla was responsive and updated us immediately after each visit with updates and pictures, giving us complete peace of mind. She was able to take care of our cats while one of them was in heat and helped us monitor her from afar. it was clear Ayla genuinely cared about our cats and treated them with kindness. We could not have asked for a better sitter and will be reaching out if and when we might need someone again in the future. I highly recommend Ayla to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy pet sitter!
