Luckily it turned out to be fine but we appreciated the attention to detail. She played a ton with them and captured some great pictures so we knew they were getting the love they needed. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, which taught me the importance of routine, exercise, and lots of love. Now I’m a proud cat owner of two, so I also understand how to care for more independent (but equally lovable!) pets. Whether your pet loves to play or just needs a calm, reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel at home. I work full time at UW Madison during regular business hours between 7:30a and 4:30p. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home twice weekly and at work 3 days. I care for your pets and your home as if it were my own. I treat the pets with the upmost love and care, and respect your home and privacy. I play with the pets if they are interested, and leave them be if not interested. Pets have bodily autonomy and I respect that. I’ll clean up a mess if I find one, and I’d let you know immediately if there’s an issue.

“I just recently got a dog and I work night shift as a nurse. I’ve discovered that my doggy has pretty severe separation anxiety. She completely tore through her dog bed, ripped a hole in the carpet, and even started to bend the metal wires of my crate. I was able to watch my dog on my pet camera and knew she was struggling. Jess went ABOVE AND BEYOND with her care. She cleaned up the messes and even came over early one night when I knew my dog was freaking out. I truly couldn’t survive this week at work without Jess. Forever grateful and 100000% recommend.”

About: Our kids LOVE dogs, they pretty much live for them. We can't have our own right now, so we want to love on yours while you're away! We've owned our own dogs, and both of the adults grew up taking care of and loving dogs. We're happy to help reinforce any training that you're doing with your pup! We work during the week, but we can spend the weekend giving full-time care to your dog! We are open to watching your pup during the week, but they would be home alone from about 9am-4:30 pm. Just send me a message if you need longer care than the weekend and we can discuss details! We have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play fetch. We can offer plenty of outside time and bathroom breaks, we're happy to keep your pet on their typical schedule!

“Whitney has visited my 4 year old cat Clark on multiple occasions. On the most recent, I had to go away for the weekend, and Clark had gotten sick a few times earlier in the week. Needless to say, I was nervous to leave him. But Whitney was so responsive to all of my concerns and requests, and took really good care of him. Luckily there were no issues, but Whitney’s notes and care really helped put all my concerns at ease. Will definitely be requesting her services again!”

About: I love dogs! I grew up with dogs, as well as have a wide range of experience with caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with disabilities. My apartment at this moment does not allow for dogs, so I really am looking for some dogs to give some tender loving care to in the meantime! I am a teacher, so I am free afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends! I am a teacher- so afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends work for me! During the summer, I have a lot more flexibility as well. I am currently offering drop-in visits, as well as dog walking! About: We will welcome your dog into our family while you are away. My husband and I both work from home, and one of us is here at most times on weekdays. . Our beagle/ heeler mix (Obi) loves to play in our fenced yard, and then settle in for a long nap on one of the big dog beds in my office. Obi was born Jan of 2018. We also have 2 cats, Milo and Potato awho re used to being around dogs, and love to play chase all around our house. Your dog will be treated like a part of our family while in our home, or if we are walking / checking in at your house. We accept puppies who may need more frequent potty breaks, as well as older pets who may need medications, or special feeding. Since I work from home full-time, hanging out with pets is a huge perk of my day! I'm easily able to step away between calls and meetings for potty breaks and playtime. Plus, my husband works hybrid, so one of us is almost always home to keep your pet company. I have a fenced yard, one dog and 2 cats. So, your pet will have plenty of buddies to hang out with and tons of safe, supervised space to relax.
