Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize your pet’s safety with attentive care, secure handling, and clear routines. You can trust me to be reliable, communicative, and respectful of your home. I provide a calm, positive environment where your dog feels comfortable, exercised, and genuinely cared for during every visit or walk.
Information Emily O. would like to know about your pet
Let me know as many details about your dog’s walk routine as possible so I can provide a comfortable and positive experience. Notes on behaviors, how they react to outside distractions, if treats are involved, if there’s a trick to their harness, etc. are all helpful tidbits to ensure a successful walk!
A typical day
When first meeting your dog, I always prioritize letting them approach me in their own time before I begin touching their harnesses, food bowls, or toys in order to promote an air of comfort. On the walk, I like to let the dog set the pace of speed, unless otherwise asked by the owner. I enjoy both slow, “sniff walks” and brisk, “let’s cover some miles” walks.

Fellow Pet Parent: Dog & Cat Care
Pet care experience
My family dog, Midnight, is a rescue black lab and was a reluctant, anxious leash walker for many years. She has given me experience with “sniff walks”, dog-led walks, treat reinforcement, and various types of collars & harnesses. Today, she is fully comfortable on a leash and we regularly walk 2-3 miles at a brisk pace. My goal is to provide a comfortable and safe experience for your dog at their pace. I would love to spend time with your dog and provide the same level of care as I do for my own! 🐾

Reviews

Emily was great. She was able to accommodate late add on times with a change in plans. Very responsive. Highly recommend.
I'm so glad to have had Emily as my dog's caregiver while I was on vacation. She treated my older dog with such gentleness and care. Emily really seems to enjoy taking care of pets!
I've had a number of people look after my pets before, but Emily is the caregiver at the top of my list! She's cared for both my family's dog and cats, and she has done an excellent job interacting with them and keeping in contact with me.
Will be reaching out to Emily again! I needed someone for a drop in quick as I had an unexpected work trip pop up. Emily took great care of my cats and even swept up the litter they kicked out of the box. Highly recommend!
