Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, which taught me the importance of routine, exercise, and lots of love. Now I’m a proud cat owner of two, so I also understand how to care for more independent (but equally lovable!) pets. Whether your pet loves to play or just needs a calm, reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel at home.

I care for your pets and your home as if it were my own. I treat the pets with the upmost love and care, and respect your home and privacy. I play with the pets if they are interested, and leave them be if not interested. Pets have bodily autonomy and I respect that. I’ll clean up a mess if I find one, and I’d let you know immediately if there’s an issue.

Jacki is the best when it comes to caring for pets! She’s incredibly reliable and has a calm demeanor that they love. Jacki has cared for my cat who is pretty particular when it comes to people. He easily warmed up to her and she earned his trust with her patience.
Jacki is amazing!!!! I cannot say enough good words about her! She provides constant updates with great information about the my pets and lots of very cute photos! She made me feel super confident that my pets are well taken care of so I don’t have to worry about them. There’s always an update coming my way right when I wanted to check. She also has great attention to details and noticed that I had a perishable package delivered. She checked in with me to get my permission for next steps and I really appreciate how she approached that situation. It is an amazing experience having Jacki as a sitter. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering.
Jacki cares deeply about her cats (and others pets too of course). She is organized, responsible, kind, patient, and knows how to interact with animals in the way that feels right for them. We have two very different cats and she knows how to navigate the preferences of both.
Jacki has two cats that she loves so much! Adopted years apart they didn't quite get along at first, but Jacki didn't give up on them. They did eventually learn to get along! They both have very different personalities and Jacki is a pro at handling them both. While cats might be Jacki's preferred pet at the moment, she also grew up with dogs. So she's not shy about taking care of your canines as well as your felines! She would take great care of your pets!

Schedule
I work full time at UW Madison during regular business hours between 7:30a and 4:30p. I have a flexible schedule where I work from home twice weekly and at work 3 days.
