I have had animals all my life and knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals in my career! I currently work at UW Veterinary in their large animal department, but it has me missing my small animal time! I previously worked for Dane County Humane Society as their Equine and Livestock Coordinator, but I spent a lot of my time in the adoption center so I have a lot of experience with a lot of different animals! I can promise you that I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own and will care for and love on them as such! My passion for caring for animals is what led me to sign up for Rover! I love going on long walks (and am frequently in step challenges with my dad so I'm already out walking haha)! I currently have a fenced-in yard, but used to live in an apartment with my dog so I am used to both scenarios! I am happy to take your pup out for as long as they need and am very patient. Mostly, I know that some pets take time to trust and am more than willing to build that trust with them!

Kira was excellent with my rabbit Tulip! It can be hard to find a sitter for a rabbit but Kira was amazing and happy to learn about Tulip's needs.
Kira took great care of our dogs while we were out of town for a family event. Workers in the area were distressing to the dogs but she was able to distract them and keep them happy. She rolled with the changes we recently made to the feeding routine and everything was great!

Kira is awesome! She took great care of my pets and sent lots of updates with pictures. The pets were happy and the house was clean when we got back. Highly recommend Kira if you’re looking for a reliable sitter!
Kira helped us get out of the winter weather by keeping our dogs happy and well cared for at home. If they can’t go with us, spending time with Kira is their next best option!

Schedule
I currently work part-time at UW so I have plenty of time for long walks or snuggle sessions! I have lots of availability and would love to spend it loving on your pets!
