About: I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past six years have cared for a behaviorally complex (but wonderful!) rescue pup. Our journey has taught me a ton about training, and about patience. As a result, I am very understanding of dogs and other animals that deal with reactivity — we are a shame-free household! I work full time, but my schedule is flexible on my work-from-home days and on weekends, which gives me plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. As a detail-oriented, attentive person, I will be sure to follow any instructions you have for your pet’s care. Otherwise, I will use my best judgment and careful attention to the safety and health of your pet to make all other decisions while they’re in my care.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, bunnies, and more! I’ve administered medications and eye drops, cared for elderly pets, and provided therapy support when needed. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I’m comfortable with animals big and small. I have two cats of my own and treat every pet like family. Available for dog walking, drop-ins, overnight stays, and all-around loving care. I’m pretty much free Thursday after 4pm through Sunday! During the week (Monday through Wednesday) is a little harder for me schedule, but I’m definitely still open, just let me know at least a week in advance so I can plan ahead😊 I provide gentle, loving care in your home, following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and ages, including elderly pets and those with special needs. I’m also happy to house sit if desired, keeping both your pets and home well cared for while you’re away. Every pet gets attention, affection, and a calm environment, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11, have helped out friends and family and coworkers on long vacations; and, eventually, I adopted and trained a dog of my own from Fetch (local foster rescue here in Madison!). I love dogs deeply, and I love walks almost as much! I’ve worked long hours most of my student and adult life, so I understand how important it is to have someone that cares for your pet as much as you while you’re away. Whether it’s work, family/friends, sabbatical/vacation, or a break for solo time, I get how important the routine and schedule is for your pet. Or to have someone you trust step up for a brief period of time while you’re busy. Whether they need snuggles, long walks, or even runs, I’d be overjoyed to take care of your loved one. Their world is only as big as we make it, so it’s a privilege to help expand theirs with lots to sniff and see! I’m currently not working while I focus on my health and family, so I am able to help with your midday, or evening, walks M-F. In your home, I can pop in and out for the walk: I have plenty of poop bags and treats to spare so no need to provide those. I do ask for a leash and/or harness to be provided as these are specific to each dog, and I want them to have the best fit.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love them! My dog Mickey is totally spoiled, and yours will be too. One thing to know upfront: I work 8–5 Monday through Friday, so your dog would be home alone during those hours on weekdays. If that works for you, Mickey would love the company! Evenings and weekends I’m completely free and will give your pup all the attention they deserve. I work full time, but I spend my weekday mornings and evenings taking my dog to the park and playing. Weekends are always open and I would spend the whole time giving your pet all the attention!! I have a spacious apartment and make outside time a daily priority! Mickey and I are regulars at a nearby Dane County park — your dog is more than welcome to join our evening routine for some space to run and explore. If parks aren’t really their thing, I have a large outdoor area right by my apartment where they can get fresh air away from other dogs.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for the past 8 years and have been walking dogs even longer. I currently pet sit and walk dogs (and cats!) for several families in my area. About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (9 years old). Together, we have fostered 12 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after a Rhodesian Ridgeback and an American pit bull. Our own dog is a 2.5 year old Aussie-beagle. We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Throughout my life, I have rescued and adopted all of my pets. also, I have experience caring for dogs with special medical needs who require extra attention, as well as energetic and playful dogs who need active engagement and exercise. These experiences have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to personalized pet care. I just moved to Madison, so I have enough time to help other with their furry friends. I have full availability to dedicate my time to your pet, ensuring they receive constant care, attention, love and companionship while you are away. I can take care of small and medium pets in my own home, I have no other pets here, so I will make sure they can feel at home

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child including mostly dogs (big and small) and cats, but also am intrigued by other animals like reptiles, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently have a small dog and 2 cats of my own, but am hoping to take assist you in the care of your furry family members as well. Although I have no professional experience, my personal pet care experience includes bathing, nail trimming, brushing/deshedding, feeding (and putting medication in cheese), and most importantly playing with dogs and cats. I have also trained my current and prior dogs basic commands via treat/praise methods. I currently have availability to care for your furry family members on weekends and some weekdays/nights, as I do have other employment. I am not available for overnight boarding services. I am available for walks or care from your home. I am currently not taking clients that require boarding in my home. I am available to provide play, walks, cuddles, and feedings as needed to stimulate your furry friends until your return.
