About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I cared for rabbits, hamsters, mice, and a pet rat. Today I share my home with my 13 year old cat, Meeko, and my housemate’s friendly 12 year old dog. I recently said goodbye to my senior cat after 16 wonderful years together. During the last few years of his life, I administered medication multiple times a day and became experienced in caring for an aging pet with extra medical needs. That experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding that every pet deserves individualized, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before and after work, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. I also offer limited weekend boarding for one dog at a time so I can provide each guest with plenty of individual attention and care. My goal is to be flexible while making sure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know pets thrive on routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, favorite toys, and bedtime routines. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of affection. I understand that having a stranger in the house can be stressful for both pets and owners, so I’ll always treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. For boarding, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play. I only accept one boarding dog at a time so I can provide a calm, personalized experience and ensure every pet receives plenty of attention. My home also includes my cat and my housemate’s dog, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around cats and other dogs. This helps create a calm, safe environment for everyone.

About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (9 years old). Together, we have fostered 12 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after a Rhodesian Ridgeback and an American pit bull. Our own dog is a 2.5 year old Aussie-beagle. We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Our kids LOVE dogs, they pretty much live for them. We can't have our own right now, so we want to love on yours while you're away! We've owned our own dogs, and both of the adults grew up taking care of and loving dogs. We're happy to help reinforce any training that you're doing with your pup! We work during the week, but we can spend the weekend giving full-time care to your dog! We are open to watching your pup during the week, but they would be home alone from about 9am-4:30 pm. Just send me a message if you need longer care than the weekend and we can discuss details! We have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play fetch. We can offer plenty of outside time and bathroom breaks, we're happy to keep your pet on their typical schedule!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life which convinced me to get my own dog a little over two years ago! I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and adventures around town. My dog is black and has thick fur so it definitely depends on the weather where we end up going on a walk (whether there is water or a shaded area). I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if they enjoy other pups. I can watch small dogs and big dogs (who might pull the leash a little harder). I am a teacher currently so I have the summer to have a chill job that’s flexible for my needs and other peoples needs as well. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. If you have a schedule where you need to let your dog out every other hour I can help out. I can also do something more chill where they just need to be fed early morning or late at night. Taking trips and being busy is part of life so I will help ease your stress about your little fur babies schedule.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11, have helped out friends and family and coworkers on long vacations; and, eventually, I adopted and trained a dog of my own from Fetch (local foster rescue in Madison, WI!). I love dogs deeply, and I love walks almost as much! I’ve worked long hours most of my student and adult life, so I understand how important it is to have someone that cares for your pet as much as you while you’re away. Whether it’s work, family/friends, sabbatical/vacation, or a break for solo time, I get how important the routine and schedule is for your pet. Or to have someone you trust step up for a brief period of time while you’re busy. Whether they need snuggles, long walks, or even runs, I’d be overjoyed to take care of your loved one. Their world is only as big as we make it, so it’s a privilege to help expand theirs with lots to sniff and see! I’m currently not working while I focus on my health and family, so I am able to help with your midday, or evening, walks M-F. In your home, I can pop in and out for the walk: I have plenty of poop bags and treats to spare so no need to provide those. I do ask for a leash and/or harness to be provided as these are specific to each dog, and I want them to have the best fit.
