About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of animals for about 4 years now. This is the first time I’m doing this on a site, however, I am very familiar with the needs of dogs and cats and am very open and understanding regarding dogs with specific and unique needs. I have raised 2 female puppies myself and have been entrusted with friends animals as well while they have been away. This is not just a “side gig” for me. Animals really bring me happiness and joy into my life and I don’t see myself enjoying anything more than this! I do have a full time job currently and don’t get home until 5pm on tues-thurs. Mondays and Fridays I work at home. I have off the weekends. I have one ESA dog of my own that would enjoy the company of other dogs in our home! I prefer to bring my pup with me when I house sit, however, if not allowed by the client, I could do house sitting at daytime! Where I spend most of my time with your pet but I wouldn’t sleep overnight at your home as I have a pet at my home.

“Hillary was excellent! My cat is extremely wary of anyone new. With most sitters he wont come out of the closet or from under the bed. He came all the way downstairs with Hillary there and it was my first time using her services. I did the 30 min visits. She did everything perfectly with food etc and went above and beyond. She reached out to me to ask how to turn the show on my tv back on that I'd left for my cat, and she put it on. I didn't even have to ask. She kept in contact very well and sent pictures, so I felt safe being away from home. , When I returned he was a lot less upset than he usually is with this length of away time. Hillary knows a lot about cats, and anyone who watches Jackson Galaxy will appreciate that she does too and knows all that info. If you have a shy cat that doesn't warm up to people quickly, or any kind of slightly more difficult cat, I highly recommend this sitter.”

About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.
