About: As a cat owner, I have a deep appreciation for cats and understand the patience, attentiveness, and consistency they need to feel comfortable and secure. I have cared for kittens, adults, and senior cats with a wide range of personalities and needs, which has given me hands-on experience with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, enrichment, administering basic medicine, and recognizing each cat’s individual personality and preferences. I know that every cat is different—some are playful and social, while others prefer quiet companionship and space—and I always take the time to build trust at their pace. My goal is to provide a calm, reliable presence that helps your cat feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I work full-time during the day, but I am available after 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends for your furry friend's needs. After giving lots of love to your fur baby, I go home to give lots of love to mine. I'm available for drop ins, short vacations. I take last-minute requests so long as my schedule allows it. I do not offer house sitting or boarding services at this time. Please contact me if you need drop in services for your cat or dog.
“Tina does an amazing job with our girl, Stevie. She’s thorough, fun, and so knowledgeable with dog care. We always know Stevie is taken care of and happy when she is with Tina. And Tina does a little training when she checks in on Stevie which is so great!”

“Rosie's best friend Jennifer saves the week again! My girls are always happy when she comes over to play and cuddle 🥰 And I always get a thorough review of the visit and great pics!!😊”

“Angel was so kind and attentive to my cat Miso! Lots of great pictures and daily updates, which were so appreciated. 😊 Miso loved all the pets and cuddles! Thank you for your help!”

“We have had Jen take care of our two cats several times now, and she is the best!! She sends amazing photos so we can see our sweet kitties, but most importantly is meticulous with their care. She goes above and beyond to clean their dishes so they have pristine food and water bowls, make sure they get tons of affection, and have tidy litter boxes. When they have had some hairballs, she has cleaned those up thoughtfully. As a person who adores my pets and is persnickety about their care. I would recommend her highly!!!”

“Samantha has been so wonderful with my Australian Shepard. She gives amazing updates and always sends multiple picture updates! She is a great and compassionate sitter, Jonee and I appreciate her!”

“Heather is our first rover sitter and we couldn’t have picked better. She is amazing with Winnie and so caring. She even gives some love and attention to our cat when she visits. I highly recommend Heather if you’re thinking about booking for the first time. 🤍🐾”

“Anna has been amazing each time shes dropped in! My dogs need to be kept separated and she makes sure that of it. I feel like my babies are in safe hands! She includes a detailed description of the drop in visit with multiple pictures. I plan on hiring her again! Thank you!”

“Kathryn was amazing! Kept gus busy, happy, and enriched. Provided great updates and the best photos ever!!!!! Reliable and great communication :) 10/10 recommend”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. Spending time with pets is truly one of my favorite things, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality, whether that means playing with an energetic dog, giving extra attention to a cuddly cat, or providing gentle companionship to a senior pet. I believe pets thrive when they feel loved, comfortable, and understood, so I focus on building trust and creating a positive experience for them while you're away. Being around animals brings me so much joy, and I take pride in making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. You can count on me to provide plenty of affection, attention, and personalized care, along with regular updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in loving hands. I am currently a nursing student at UW Madison and have time throughout both the week and weekend to spend time with your pet! Typically earlier or later in the day is best for me but I am able to be flexible. I care for pets by sticking closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease — feeding them on schedule, going on walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from their owner. I spend a lot of time giving attention and affection, whether that’s active play for energetic pets or calm companionship for seniors or more relaxed animals. I always try to make them feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. I also send updates so you know how they’re doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Carley is a delight and such a wonderful sitter! Incredibly sweet and a natural with animals, I had no worry at all leaving my pups in her care. Regular check-ins and photo updates throughout the weekend. I highly recommend Carley and will definitely try to book her again.”

“Ayla did a great job taking care of our shy cat. She was able to coax her out for pictures. I truly appreciate the attention to details like taking out the garbage and running the dishwasher at the end of the week. Thank you so much.”

About: As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how much happiness our furry friends bring to our lives. My first rescue pup was a golden retriever mix named Luna, the sweetest dog who stole hearts everywhere she went. I currently have a Rottweiler who loves romping in the yard and excels at snuggling. It would be my pleasure to care for your dog while you are away. Long walks, playtime, and endless snuggles are services I can provide. I am comfortable with large breeds. My work schedule is quite flexible, so I have availability most days. I would be happy to meet you and your dog prior to bookings. I am passionate about animal rescue, and have experience volunteering at Dane County Humane Society. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
About: I’ve shared my life with animals for over a decade, and my heart truly belongs to dogs and cats. As a homeowner and a "dad" to three pets of my own, I understand that your animals aren't just pets—they’re family. Why Choose Me? -I’ve been with my own buddies for 10 years, navigating everything from post-op surgery care and complex medication schedules to senior "attitudes" and puppy smiles. -I am a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule and my own transportation, making it easy for me to drop in for walks or midday snuggles. - I treat every home with the same care I give my own. You can expect a clean space and frequent, proactive communication so you never have to wonder how things are going. -Whether your pet has a specific routine or a quirky habit, I follow instructions to the letter to ensure their comfort remains consistent. I know the peace of mind that comes with knowing your fur babies are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m here to provide that same comfort for you. Work mostly from home with one day in the office. Very flexible on needs and schedule! Up early and go to bed late, which makes my schedule open to accommodate the needs of our little fur friends. I respect your space, privacy, and needs to ensure your home is just the way you left it when you return. In my home, we keep a clean ship, organized, and make sure all fir buddies are rewarded with treats when good behaviors are exhibited. With instruction, can be mindful of any special needs for our fur friends. Their health and comfort matters too!
“Keezieng's assistance was a lifesaver this holiday season. His politeness and kindness when meeting us and our cat Olivia was reassuring and he did a great job of updating us during his visits while we were away. We’re so grateful for the excellent care provided!”

About: In addition to the years I've spent taking care of family dogs, I've spent the past five years fostering a variety of rescue dogs of all breeds and sizes. I've helped to foster and adopt out more than 15 rescue dogs at this point, with each one holding a special place in my heart! I have plenty of experience with dogs who are nervous, anxious, or shy. A lot of my foster dogs have come in being very nervous, understandably. I pride myself on creating a comfortable, relaxing environment for dogs to decompress. If they love to play and goof around, great! If they take more time to warm up to me, that's okay too! I usually find that sticking to a schedule, taking long walks around the neighborhood, and creating comfy spaces around the house where a dog can either be alone or snuggle up to me can do wonders for a nervous pup. My sidekick in all of this is my 5lb Brussels Griffon/chihuahua mix, Grizzy. He loves everyone he has ever met in his life - human, canine, or other :). While I do like to keep new dogs separate from Grizzy to start with in order to let them settle in a bit, dogs usually end up loving Grizzy just as much as I do. He's not huge on playing with other dogs, but loves hanging out with them wherever they are, whether that's in a comfy bed or looking out the back door into the neighborhood. If a dog needs space, then Grizzy is good with that too! If your dog needs a playmate to get their energy out, then Grizzy won't be a good fit; if your dog is looking for a snuggle buddy, though, Grizzy would be perfect! I'll make sure your dog is as comfortable in my home as they are in your own home. I'll have time for plenty of walks and playtime, as well as snuggles on the couch. I have most fosters sleep in a crate next to my bed, although if your pets are more comfortable snuggling up with you at night, they're welcome to sleep in my bed as well. I'm currently working from home full time, so I'd love to have your dog join me here at home! If you'd prefer, I'm available to stop by for a walk or a drop-in visit anytime during the day. I've fostered several rescue dogs over the past few years, all with varying levels of training and anxiety. I know how to make sure that a dog doesn't escape out the door or while on leash, when they may need more love, or when they're happier being left alone. I am currently working from home full-time, so I will be around to devote plenty of time to your pup while they are in my care! While I am working from home, I am able to take your dog out every 2-6 hours as needed. Before and after I am working, I'll have more time to play with and train your pup. Note: even though I am working from home full-time, I still need accurate pick-up and drop-off times. I do not accept drop-off or pick-up times before 6:30am or after 11pm. If you will be outside of your listed pick-up or drop-off window, please let me know ASAP so I can be sure to be home and ready when you arrive! Since there are no children in my home, it is a very peaceful environment for any dogs who will be staying here. I have no cats, either, if your dog doesn't get along with felines. My own dog tends to mind his own business, and let guest dogs make themselves comfortable. They are welcome on the furniture, and sometimes even decide to cozy up with Grizzy in one of his many dog beds! I do not have a fenced in yard, so I will take any dogs in my care on walks around the neighborhood. There are plenty of other dogs in the neighborhood, but I always avoid on-leash greetings with dogs I'm watching. I'm well-versed in making sure that dogs in my care are comfortable on leash and aren't put in any situations that they dislike, either inside or outside of the home. My home has been dog-proofed very well over the past several years. I am able to pick up toys and Nylabones before your pet comes over, if that may cause any resources guarding issues. I feed my own dog and any dogs in my care completely separately to avoid any issues. I prefer crate-trained dogs, for their safety and for Grizzy's safety as well, if I need to leave the home. If your dog is okay being left out in another room uncrated, then that works well too! I am canine first-aid certified if any emergencies arise. I always keep a stocked dog first aid kit in my home. If your dog takes any medications or needs injections of any kind, I am very comfortable with administering those.
McClellan Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a one-time drop-in visit for our cat Noodle, and it was a great experience. Communication was prompt and clear, and they were right on time. Even though it was just one stop, they made sure Noodle was well taken care of and comfortable. We really appreciated the update and photos — it gave us peace of mind knowing Noodle was in good hands. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and take their responsibility seriously. Reliable, kind, and professional. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend
As my first experience using Rover, I am very thankful to have found Cassandra!! We hired her for drop in visits, and she left us with daily reports and many happy kitty pictures. :)) I could tell our cat was enjoying her company very much. We’re so grateful to her for watching him on short notice over the holiday, and for her professionalism. She is a great communicator, and very responsive in her messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our little guy. :)) Thank you!!!
