“I’m really happy I picked Anna to look after my cats! She gave me peace of mind about leaving them while I was on vacation, knowing they’d be well cared for. I’d definitely ask her to watch them again in the future!”

“Lydia did a great job dropping in to take care of my cat. She had to give pills, kept me updated well, and sent pictures every time! My cat seemed happy when I returned and the house was well taken care of. Would hire again!”

“Carley is a delight and such a wonderful sitter! Incredibly sweet and a natural with animals, I had no worry at all leaving my pups in her care. Regular check-ins and photo updates throughout the weekend. I highly recommend Carley and will definitely try to book her again.”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! Great communicator — with people and pets alike. Very attentive to my kitty and spent time laying on the ground and meeting him where he was to earn trust and make him comfortable. Definitely recommend!!”

“Tina was very communicative and thorough with her questions ahead of the visit to ensure she had everything needed day of without any uncertainties. She also met our dogs twice ahead of the visit for everyone's mutual benefit and comfort. Tina provided detailed notes of our dogs outings, feeding, and activities, along with photos of their time. I know our animals had a great visit with Tina and would recommend her to any perspective sitting needs.”

“Samantha was wonderful! She was super communicative while doing her drop-ins and sent so many photos! My dogs seemed to love her and it made me smile to see how well they took to her. As an anxious fur mom, knowing they were in good hands was priceless. 🤍 I highly recommend her to anyone looking for car for their fur babies.”

“Jen is the best. She was so good with both of our dogs and were very comfortable with the arrangement. We got great photos and detailed updates which was very appreciated! We hope we can work together in the future with Honeybea and Rosie!”

“Leah did a wonderful job taking care of Helen and Violet. When I returned home Helen and Vi were very mellow and relaxed because they had excellent care :) It meant so much to me to know that they were well cared for while I celebrated Christmas with my family in Oregon.”

“Joan was amazing per usual. We were thrilled to get to work with her again. Joan did wonderfully watching over our two little floofy sons. We were very impressed with how happy they seemed and even more so by the fact that she braved the harsh, icy roads to feed and play with them. We will definitely be reaching out to her again and have nothing but the best things to say with regards to the care she provided. Very satisfied.”

About: I’ve shared my life with animals for over a decade, and my heart truly belongs to dogs and cats. As a homeowner and a "dad" to three pets of my own, I understand that your animals aren't just pets—they’re family. Why Choose Me? -I’ve been with my own buddies for 10 years, navigating everything from post-op surgery care and complex medication schedules to senior "attitudes" and puppy smiles. -I am a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule and my own transportation, making it easy for me to drop in for walks or midday snuggles. - I treat every home with the same care I give my own. You can expect a clean space and frequent, proactive communication so you never have to wonder how things are going. -Whether your pet has a specific routine or a quirky habit, I follow instructions to the letter to ensure their comfort remains consistent. I know the peace of mind that comes with knowing your fur babies are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m here to provide that same comfort for you. Work mostly from home with one day in the office. Very flexible on needs and schedule! Up early and go to bed late, which makes my schedule open to accommodate the needs of our little fur friends. I respect your space, privacy, and needs to ensure your home is just the way you left it when you return. In my home, we keep a clean ship, organized, and make sure all fir buddies are rewarded with treats when good behaviors are exhibited. With instruction, can be mindful of any special needs for our fur friends. Their health and comfort matters too!
“Upon meeting Lora I found a calm, mature, dog savy person who is a great listener :) my dogs are a bit of a handful, but they didn’t faze her lol! Great communication while we were gone. Will be using her for all our future needs.”

“Amanda was wonderful! I reached out short notice while I was out of town and my wife had a longer day at work than usual. She did a drop-in visit for our two dogs and everything went smoothly. We’d happily book again!”

“Kathryn did an amazing job caring for my grumpy old cat, Rumor. He doesn't usually like strangers, but she got him to play with toys and always spent time with him. I felt better knowing that she was checking in on him everyday!”

“We couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional care our dogs received from Shannon. She went above and beyond, providing detailed updates during her visits that put our minds at ease. It was evident that she genuinely cared for our dogs, treating them like her own. We highly recommend Shannon.”

About: My name is Angel and I absolutely love fur babies! I’ve been a reliable pet sitter for dogs and cats for 15+ years and would love to care for your family member with a home away from home experience and give you some peace of mind while your away on a weekend getaway or vacation because I know that’s what I would want for my Bell. I have experience with dogs with seizures and administering medication as needed. I work most days from home and have two little kids. I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to provide the best care for your baby while you are away. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run along with my dog Bell who loves a friend to play with. My son loves to play fetch with Bell and would love to join in on the fun! I do have a large crate available if needed for a safe space.
“Jamie was fantastic! Responded on a short notice due to me having to leave town. My two pets were very well taken care of and played with. Lots of updates and pictures were sent and I greatly appreciate it. Really gave me peace of mind when I was out of town that my dogs were well taken care of and happy!”

About: In addition to the years I've spent taking care of family dogs, I've spent the past five years fostering a variety of rescue dogs of all breeds and sizes. I've helped to foster and adopt out more than 15 rescue dogs at this point, with each one holding a special place in my heart! I have plenty of experience with dogs who are nervous, anxious, or shy. A lot of my foster dogs have come in being very nervous, understandably. I pride myself on creating a comfortable, relaxing environment for dogs to decompress. If they love to play and goof around, great! If they take more time to warm up to me, that's okay too! I usually find that sticking to a schedule, taking long walks around the neighborhood, and creating comfy spaces around the house where a dog can either be alone or snuggle up to me can do wonders for a nervous pup. My sidekick in all of this is my 5lb Brussels Griffon/chihuahua mix, Grizzy. He loves everyone he has ever met in his life - human, canine, or other :). While I do like to keep new dogs separate from Grizzy to start with in order to let them settle in a bit, dogs usually end up loving Grizzy just as much as I do. He's not huge on playing with other dogs, but loves hanging out with them wherever they are, whether that's in a comfy bed or looking out the back door into the neighborhood. If a dog needs space, then Grizzy is good with that too! If your dog needs a playmate to get their energy out, then Grizzy won't be a good fit; if your dog is looking for a snuggle buddy, though, Grizzy would be perfect! I'll make sure your dog is as comfortable in my home as they are in your own home. I'll have time for plenty of walks and playtime, as well as snuggles on the couch. I have most fosters sleep in a crate next to my bed, although if your pets are more comfortable snuggling up with you at night, they're welcome to sleep in my bed as well. I'm currently working from home full time, so I'd love to have your dog join me here at home! If you'd prefer, I'm available to stop by for a walk or a drop-in visit anytime during the day. I've fostered several rescue dogs over the past few years, all with varying levels of training and anxiety. I know how to make sure that a dog doesn't escape out the door or while on leash, when they may need more love, or when they're happier being left alone. I am currently working from home full-time, so I will be around to devote plenty of time to your pup while they are in my care! While I am working from home, I am able to take your dog out every 2-6 hours as needed. Before and after I am working, I'll have more time to play with and train your pup. Note: even though I am working from home full-time, I still need accurate pick-up and drop-off times. I do not accept drop-off or pick-up times before 6:30am or after 11pm. If you will be outside of your listed pick-up or drop-off window, please let me know ASAP so I can be sure to be home and ready when you arrive! Since there are no children in my home, it is a very peaceful environment for any dogs who will be staying here. I have no cats, either, if your dog doesn't get along with felines. My own dog tends to mind his own business, and let guest dogs make themselves comfortable. They are welcome on the furniture, and sometimes even decide to cozy up with Grizzy in one of his many dog beds! I do not have a fenced in yard, so I will take any dogs in my care on walks around the neighborhood. There are plenty of other dogs in the neighborhood, but I always avoid on-leash greetings with dogs I'm watching. I'm well-versed in making sure that dogs in my care are comfortable on leash and aren't put in any situations that they dislike, either inside or outside of the home. My home has been dog-proofed very well over the past several years. I am able to pick up toys and Nylabones before your pet comes over, if that may cause any resources guarding issues. I feed my own dog and any dogs in my care completely separately to avoid any issues. I prefer crate-trained dogs, for their safety and for Grizzy's safety as well, if I need to leave the home. If your dog is okay being left out in another room uncrated, then that works well too! I am canine first-aid certified if any emergencies arise. I always keep a stocked dog first aid kit in my home. If your dog takes any medications or needs injections of any kind, I am very comfortable with administering those.
Rolling Meadows pet parents share their Rover experiences
Claire was a fantastic sitter for our two cats! I could tell that she would be a good fit right away when she came to meet them before our week-long trip and enjoyed peace of mind knowing they were taken care of. I would definitely reach out to her again for future trips.

Carley is a delight and such a wonderful sitter! Incredibly sweet and a natural with animals, I had no worry at all leaving my pups in her care. Regular check-ins and photo updates throughout the weekend. I highly recommend Carley and will definitely try to book her again.

Anna has been amazing each time shes dropped in! My dogs need to be kept separated and she makes sure that of it. I feel like my babies are in safe hands! She includes a detailed description of the drop in visit with multiple pictures. I plan on hiring her again! Thank you!

We had a one-time drop-in visit for our cat Noodle, and it was a great experience. Communication was prompt and clear, and they were right on time. Even though it was just one stop, they made sure Noodle was well taken care of and comfortable. We really appreciated the update and photos — it gave us peace of mind knowing Noodle was in good hands. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and take their responsibility seriously. Reliable, kind, and professional. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend
As my first experience using Rover, I am very thankful to have found Cassandra!! We hired her for drop in visits, and she left us with daily reports and many happy kitty pictures. :)) I could tell our cat was enjoying her company very much. We’re so grateful to her for watching him on short notice over the holiday, and for her professionalism. She is a great communicator, and very responsive in her messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our little guy. :)) Thank you!!!
