Treating animals as if they're mine
I have done petsitting (cats and dogs) for over 15 years. Usually for animals where I personally know the owners and have spent time with the animal to create a bond/relationship. I want to full disclose with new perspective pets parents: I have a full time, in-office job with the standard business hours, Monday through Friday. If that's not what you are looking for in a house sitter, I understand.

I stay at the animal's home to care for them so their life isn't different than what it usually is for them. Changing their environment can be quite shocking and stressful to them. I try not change their lifestyle too much while the parent is gone

We love it when Cassie stays with Leo. She’s great with him and it’s always reassuring that he’s in good hands while we’re gone.
Cassandra was very communicative and helpful while we were gone and our dog had health issues. We would book with her again!

Cassandra was absolutely fantastic when she stayed with my 2 cats for a week. She was communicative, sent photos, and kept me in the loop while we were out of the country for a week. I'm a self-proclaimed helicopter mom when it comes to my kitties, and I completely trust Cassie with my boys. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely book again with her!

As my first experience using Rover, I am very thankful to have found Cassandra!! We hired her for drop in visits, and she left us with daily reports and many happy kitty pictures. :)) I could tell our cat was enjoying her company very much. We’re so grateful to her for watching him on short notice over the holiday, and for her professionalism. She is a great communicator, and very responsive in her messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our little guy. :)) Thank you!!!

If I had a pet of my own, I would ensure all their needs are met. As a petsitter, I would to ensure their animal's life doesn't change or I could make it better in some small way especially since their parent(s) is gone
