I am a self employed professional pet groomer doing in-home pet grooming services called Sassy Cat’s Pooch Spa. My hours of work vary from how long a dog/dog takes to groom and how far I am from home. Since I am a dog and cat groomer my schedule can be a bit inconsistent due to many reasons like a groom can take longer than expected or there was a cancellation, also I am a mother and summer and weather schedules and change. So if I don’t make it to your place at your set time please understand that I cannot help it if somethings comes up with my main job or I have to take my son somewhere. But I will be at your place asap after I am done with work. If you have a cat that needs medication at the same time everyday we can discuss a time that works best for your cat and my work schedule. Please do not leave bad reviews for my inconsistent schedule as I do let all clients know about this before accepting any bookings and I have posted this information on my profile as well. Lastly, please write detailed notes about the care you want me to provide for your cat. I unfortunately have ADHD and may forget something. Thank you.

In you home I will drop by to feed your cat, make sure they have water and all litter boxes are scooped. I will check for any vomit and/or urine or stool that isn’t in litter boxes (if you have a cat the tends to go out side of the litter. I will monitor your cats health when I am there to make sure they look and feel healthy while your gone. Also I will pet and play with your cat. If you want me to send photos of your sweet kitty you can let me know.

I worked at Petco from 2007-2015. I I was cat and dog specialist, and learned a lot about want foods work best for individual cats and other pet care products. While working at Petco and going to college, I fostered cats and kittens with Smitten with Kittens and was apart of spay and neuter program of Fort Lauderdale. In 2015 I moved to Wisconsin and started working at Rufus Dumonde Pet Salon. I groomed only dogs for about a year, till I finally got to learn to groom cats in 2016 and I love it! I am still currently working at Rufus Dumonde Pet Salon, grooming both dogs and cats. Working at Rufus Dumonde I have learned so much more about skin care, coat textures, things to look out for, introducing new cats and dogs to equipment, and looking out for signs of aggression. I can trim cat nails, clean ears, bathe and brush out, spot shaving, and do various haircuts. I can even do some basic vet care stuff like teeth brushing, administering shots (I own a diabetic cat which has given knowledge on scheduling feedings, shots, and giving proper foods), looking out for lumps and bumps and infections, and checking ears, paws, and anal glands for any abnormalities. I can deep clean litter boxes, clean up any accidents like urine, stool, and vomit/hairballs, and can give your cat some grooming and nail trimming if they need it.

Heather was phenomenal. Took fabulous care of our three cats, including one exceedingly shy guy and our little old man and we came back to 3 happy and satisfied cats. She was super flexible and able to extend our sit when circumstances changed our return date. Just wonderful and we will definitely ask her to sit again in the future.❤️
Quick to respond to initial request, friendly, clicked with cat. Did not take any notes during meet and greet, actually forgot to visit on Saturday. Had provided her additional information to be sure she had / knew everything, screenshots of what previously sent, still she texted me questions, very stressful evening for me, cat missed one of his tablets, also way too many clumps in his litter box when I got home, her communication was confusing and panicky. Will not be using again.
Heather did a great job of taking care of our cats! She was able to get our very shy and nervous cat his medication twice a day, even though he was hiding every time. We appreciated the photos and great updates at every visit.
Heather was on time, responsive, and flexible when plans suddenly changed! I would absolutely book her again.
