About: Since I was little I’ve taken care of many pets! People have relied on me when out of town many times for a puppy and older dogs. I’ve bathed dogs, cut their hair, given medicine, etc.. About: From second grade until this past year, I grew up taking care of my maltese shih tzu everyday, named Ruby. She was certainly a very spoiled and loved dog! Since she passed just a couple months ago, it's been strange lacking the comfort and company that Ruby always provided me when I was alone- whether that was on long hiking adventures or just relaxing. In spite of her passing, and my overall affection for animals, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding new furry friends to take care of, play with, and join me on my walks! Growing up, I also frequently took care of my neighbor's dogs which gave me experience with all different breeds, sizes, and behaviors of dogs as well as cats. And aside from all my love for Ruby, she was definitely stubborn and picky so I have experience in dealing with difficult dogs, keeping patience, and figuring out how to accommodate each individual dogs needs and personality. Additionally, my sister has been on rover for years and has watched countless dogs and cats through this platform, and I've helped her out a lot, which has obviously provided me with the most relevant experience possible! I will be a junior at UW-Madison, but for now I am enjoying my summer in Madison without classes going on! Therefore, I have plenty of free time and so I'd love to fill it with caring for pets! Living at a prime location in the UW-Madison campus, and having easy access to my car means I can walk or drive to you and your pet and come to your home even if it's outside of campus. Whether your dog likes to loiter around every mailbox we pass on walks, or if they like to run, then I'm the dog walker for them! I'm happy to do a casual stroll and bathroom break, and just as happy to do long, multiple-mile walks. As I've gotten used to my whole life, I will always pick up after your dog and will make sure they stay safe and close to me by using whatever leash and collar you can provide. And no matter the weather, I'm still happy to spend the time outside with your dog! If you just need me to stop by to feed your pet and take them for a potty break outside, then I will happily pick up after them in the yard and after they are done eating. I grew up in nice home with a Mom who always taught me to keep things clean, organized, have good manners, and when at others homes to always leave things cleaner than how it was when I arrived. I've upheld these morals in college and so if you'd like me to stay with your pet for extended periods of time at your home, I'm the most trustworthy and respectful person to hire!

But reached back again and was able to pick up my pet from my workplace which was helpful. There was some communication problem in regards to pick up as well. But once my pet was picked up by his son it was very smooth. My pet loved his stay and also received constant updates and the experience ended very smooth. About: Hi! My name is Malia and I am a sophomore at UW Madison studying Psychology! I’ve grown up caring for my family’s Golden Retriever for the past 12 years, along with helping care for my grandma’s dogs—a rescue mix and a poodle. I am an early riser and start my day off taking care of my puppy. I live downtown and have immediate access to the commuter bike trails and can get wherever I need to be whenever I need to be there. Being that I love getting outdoors and moving around, I have my days set to same and am a moment's notice from supporting you! I firmly believe that our homes are sacred. My promise to you is that you will never know I was there. In my own home, I tidy up my dog's playthings and ensure that she always has access to food and water. I will dispose of your pet's waste in a wag bag and turn it in at a community bin to prevent your home from stinking. I understand that all dogs are different and can certainly accommodate any quirks.
About: I've spent most of my life around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family since high school. I have a soft spot for older pets, so I understand that they often need more attention, which I am happy to provide. Whether it's sticking to a routine, administering medication, or keeping company, I'm comfortable handing your pet's unique needs. I currently don't have my own pet, but I'd love to care for yours! I'm currently a graduate student who is working from home for most of the summer, so I am available weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I love taking screen-time breaks throughout the day, and taking care of animals is a great way to do so. I treat every home visit with diligence and respect. I follow routines closely and make sure your animal(s) and home are secure before, during, and after my visit. I appreciate detailed instructions and will send updates as frequently as you'd like.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. Plenty of time to play and take care of your pets. I follow and respect all given instructions. I also make it a point to reach out whenever there are concerns or to send some updates/pictures. I genuinely care about the well-being of your pets and respecting your time.
