“Juan has great! He and his son were very attentive with our dog. We were sent pictures throughout the day, and given updates about how our boy was doing! He has very high anxiety with strangers, and he had no problem calming down and napping with this family! When booking, we were told another dog would also be in Juan's care. He made sure that was okay with us, and went above and beyond to make sure our dogs never crossed paths (as we don't know if our dog is good with others yet) If you need a sitter, Juan is a great option! Very flexible, kind, and an overall great influence on your furry friend!”

About: Hello there! While growing up with dogs it was very clear to me from an early age that dogs are the most warm amazing creatures. While we don't have any pets of our own right now our most recent best friend was a rescue Maltipoo who required special care and I truly adored taking care of her. Which is why you can trust me to love your family member as of it were my own! My typical day is really flexible. l workout in the morning however, I stay at home so I'm lucky my entire day has plenty of time freedom so I can love and cuddle your fur baby 24/7 which is important to me. I grew up in this area and have been here my whole life. My husband and I bought a house in Fitchburg 5 years ago and absolutely love our safe quiet little neighborhood. We have sidewalks and I love walking dogs- most likely wouldn't even see anyone else on our walks because of how quaint it is here. I can easily crate your dog if you prefer but in my home your pet is created like a human and is welcome to sleep in bed with me and to follow me around and be my shadow during the day!

About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I’m used to all kinds of dogs whether it be age, energy level, or condition as I’ve had a mix of all at my job and growing up! I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. Max I’ll be gone is four hours, but that rarely happens. My dog is very friendly and energetic, but also knows when a dog doesn’t want to play. She’s very silly and loves to sleep! I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. A dogs safety and their comfort are a top priority for me! I also have a fenced in patio with dog grass if your pup needs a quick potty break!

About: Our kids LOVE dogs, they pretty much live for them. We can't have our own right now, so we want to love on yours while you're away! We've owned our own dogs, and both of the adults grew up taking care of and loving dogs. We're happy to help reinforce any training that you're doing with your pup! We work during the week, but we can spend the weekend giving full-time care to your dog! We are open to watching your pup during the week, but they would be home alone from about 9am-4:30 pm. About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

About: I have four dog nieces and nephews that I love very much and occasionally watch. I check in on my neighbors dog when needed. I successfully dog sat a Great Dane for a week who I fell in love with. I have a large fenced in yard that is the best for zoomies. I work from home M-F with a flexible schedule to take the dogs out to play or for a walk. The summer months I may be less available during the weekends but during the winter I will have more availability. I have a fenced in yard that is large enough for dogs to run. There are no other animals or children at this house making it a relaxing and peaceful place if the dog needs a more chill environment. I do have two doodle nephews that can come to play if the dog needs to socialize.
