About: I had a Maltese poodle mix for about 14 years. He recently passed last Thanksgiving. I have experience pet sitting, cleaning up, grooming, and feeding. And I also have experience caring for older dogs. I’m currently studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I live on campus, local and my schedule is pretty open. I have availability mornings and evenings most days, and have flexible hours. I mostly offer dog walking services. And I can provide them with water and bowls as needed. I can also walk them to local parks or other locations.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I cared for rabbits, hamsters, mice, and a pet rat. Today I share my home with my 13 year old cat, Meeko, and my housemate’s friendly 12 year old dog. I recently said goodbye to my senior cat after 16 wonderful years together. During the last few years of his life, I administered medication multiple times a day and became experienced in caring for an aging pet with extra medical needs. That experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding that every pet deserves individualized, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before and after work, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. I also offer limited weekend boarding for one dog at a time so I can provide each guest with plenty of individual attention and care. My goal is to be flexible while making sure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know pets thrive on routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, favorite toys, and bedtime routines. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of affection. I understand that having a stranger in the house can be stressful for both pets and owners, so I’ll always treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. For boarding, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play. I only accept one boarding dog at a time so I can provide a calm, personalized experience and ensure every pet receives plenty of attention. My home also includes my cat and my housemate’s dog, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around cats and other dogs. This helps create a calm, safe environment for everyone.

About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (9 years old). Together, we have fostered 12 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after a Rhodesian Ridgeback and an American pit bull. Our own dog is a 2.5 year old Aussie-beagle. We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Working as a technician at a dog daycare and boarding facility has given me professional, hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your routine to help your pet feel secure—this includes regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, depending on your needs. I make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection while you’re away. Clean-up, medication (if needed), and keeping you updated with photos (My favorite part, of course :))

About: I have always loved animals. I was the kid that would bring stray animals home asking my parents if I could keep them. I have always had dogs in my family homes. I graduated from Iowa State University with an Animal Science degree in May of 2016. I have dog sat for other families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I honestly love dog sitting and I have even taken care of some turtles and tortoises. I don’t really think of pet sitting as a job, but rather an opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your family pets while you are on vacation or if you have other obligations.
