About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the lifelong experience and genuine love I have for animals. I grew up in a home full of dogs and have always been surrounded by pets, learning early on how to care for them with patience and attention. Today, I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I treat every pet like my own, with kindness, consistency, and a lot of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some extra playtime, I ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day to give your pets the attention and care they need. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday playtime, or an afternoon check-in, I’m able to provide consistent, dependable care. My background in teaching also means I’m organized, responsible, and great at following routines—qualities that translate well into attentive, loving pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, give walks or playtime, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention. I’m respectful of your home and any instructions you leave, whether it’s about medications, crate time, or favorite toys. If I were to offer care in my home, pets would have a calm, pet-friendly space and lots of companionship throughout the day. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away.

“Tara was so kind and caring towards my golden retriever pup. She’s super knowledgeable about puppy training and I cant wait to work with her again! Thank you so much, Tara!”

“Maggie went above and beyond - including braving a winter snowstorm - to make sure our cat was well cared for while we were out of town. Couldn’t recommend more highly!”

“Grace did a wonderful job! She sent lots of pictures and detailed updates. We had a small ant problem develop when we were out of town, and she handled it so well! We would definitely book Grace again!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a first year medical student, still learning the ropes of Madison and medical school, but hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.

“Bob took care of my little bundle of joy, Cheeti, a 17 years young cat. I appreciated many things. Bob was punctual which was very important to me since Cheeti requires meds. He also sent multiple updates and pictures. This made a big difference since I could see that my baby was well taken care of and as a result I was able to thoroughly enjoy my time away. Cheeti and I give Bob 5 gigantic shining stars!”

“She did amazingly with Brutus! I was very happy with how everything went! This was my first time hiring a dog sitter and Mindi did above and beyond!”

“Hannah took such great care of my babies! She would always give me updates on every visit and send me the most cute pictures of my cats. My trip was way more relaxing knowing that my pets were in good hands :)”

“Went above and beyond. Took great care of our cats.”

“This is the first time I’ve used Rover but, based upon my experience with Alex, it won’t be my last! I was a little concerned about having a “stranger” in my home, but after having met and worked with Alex those fears have been laid to rest.”

“Brenda took great care of our dog while we were away on vacation. She went the extra mile to come and meet us beforehand to make sure everyone was comfortable. We will definitely reach out in the future!”

“Emily was prompt with all her visits and easy to communicate with. My cat is a little shy at first but Emily got her to warm up quickly. She provided photos and updates on all the visit cards so I knew everything was okay.”

About: I've had my own happy and healthy pup since he was 6 months old - strangers always comment on how polite he is and I'm quite proud of his learning and behavior. I think quite a lot of that success comes from learning how to communicate with pets; knowing how their species and they, as an individual, express anxiety, interest, excitement, or happiness. I'm quite good at letting animals come to me in their own way so we build trust and they know I'll do the right thing by them. Currently free to move my errands and other obligations as needed but will prioritize consistent times to keep my availability consistent for all potential clients. Walks: Let me know what distance you usually walk - or I can take a route I do regularly for my own dog in the area. Will clean up after dogs (this feels expected but will state it clearly). Happy to focus on a particular command you're working on if you share it ahead of time/some of the criteria around how you're directing its use. Day Visits: Please share specifics - will be able to visit up to 3 times per day.

About: I don’t have any experience with senior animals but I am eager to learn more about the care that they need! I have three cats so I know how to care for animals with different personalities! I am a respite care provider part time, but I always have time for furry friends. I make room in my schedule to work for Rover and engage with other animals besides my own! I would prefer for care to be provided in your house, but I also have a one bedroom apartment with plenty of room for cats to roam (including s screened in porch to bird watch) and lots of toys! I also have a large backyard for dogs to run around and play fetch!

She has grown up with many cats and three different dogs (two currently in the family) and has always shown them love and taken them for walks or car rides. I recommend Mia for this job because she will not only meet your pets needs, but will go above and beyond to make them feel safe and happy.”
