About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (9 years old). Together, we have fostered 12 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after a Rhodesian Ridgeback and an American pit bull. Our own dog is a 2.5 year old Aussie-beagle. We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Hi all, my name is Alina and I’m new to Rover :). I have been a reliable dog/cat sitter for family, friends, and co-workers for a few years. I am a respectful, friendly, animal-loving soul that is free all summer to care for pets and make them feel safe and happy! I am starting medical school in the fall so I am excited to get some time with furry friends this summer. I love getting animals outside for walks and playtime. About: I’ve been connected to animals from a very young age! I’ve always gravitated towards dogs among people and love playing with them and keeping them active. I’ve walked my own dog, Pearl, multiple times a week when I lived at home and dog sit several dogs throughout my time. I love giving animals extra love and a great experience. Alexandria was very attentive and nice when we did our meet and greet. Our cats are high maintenance (multiple food additives, a very picky eater, etc.), but Alexandria took care of it all. They even were able to give my one cat his pill and administered his inhaler, which they said they have never done before. It can be a little daunting, so I really appreciated they were willing to give it a shot and did so successfully. They sent lots of photos and even did the dishes before they left, which was definitely not an expectation. They noticed one of the microchip feeders stopped working right, and immediately messaged me and did all the steps to try and get it fixed. I made an oopsie and didnt add that I needed Alexandria to check in on the weekend. They were able to catch that and checked in with me to make sure someone was coming. I didnt have anyone, but they were able to make 2 hour long check ins for the whole weekend. I appreciate Alexandria's thouroughness, attentiveness, and the small extra things they did to make my cats as comfortable as possible for the entire week we were gone. We greatly appreciate you, Alexandria!

Mary is wonderful! We hired her to check on our cat, Kirree, last minute before going out of town for a weekend, and Mary was responsive, trustworthy, and enthusiastic. She shared clear and descriptive updates and pictures from her visits with Kirree. She seems to have a way with cats and Kirree was thrilled to see her. I will definitely hire Mary again.
Sarah was amazing with my cat Oliver! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands while I was away. She kept me updated, took great care of him, and somehow left my apartment even cleaner than I had left it. I came home to a very happy cat and a spotless home!!
