I have experience caring for many different types of animals — from rodents to fish, dogs to cats, and horses to exotic animals — both on my own time and professionally. I have a lot of availability on weekdays! I’m currently working part time at a local cafe and walking dogs part time. My priority is providing the best service, no matter what time of day! I am comfortable with dogs on leash or off leash in a fenced in area. I can crate your dog if needed, and I am happy to follow your regular routine to keep your pup on schedule!

16. Sierra M.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 5 years old. I grew up in the country in Texas and at one point we had around 20 cats and 9 dogs. We took care of the strays that made their way onto our property, and sometimes adopted from shelters and random people. I was taught love and compassion for animals since I was a young child. I am now 26 and I continue to embrace the kindness I have in my heart for animals everyday. I currently work part time as a caregiver for a man who is a quadriplegic. I have a lot of free time, as I only work weekend mornings and nights for approximately 2-3 hours each shift. I have a small apartment so I can only accept small dogs if you would like your pup to come to my home. I would be just wonderful to your pup insuring they get enough potty breaks, walks if you would like, maybe the dog park upon your approval, and even car rides if you’d like! Offer complimentary treats.. I keep some in my home. And of course I would get them approved by my client first. For cats, I cannot accept any in my home. In my clients home, I would do the same things. If taking care of a cat in my clients home I would also insure the cat box is clean, and lots of play time if that’s what the kitty likes :-)

About: I’ve dog sat for my neighbors and family members since I was 12. I also worked at pet spa, helping bathe different animals. I have missed caring for animals and want to start back up again! I work a 9-5 in childcare during the week, but am available for check-ins and walks after (Spending time with animals is much needed after those long days). I am also free most weekends for all services. Having worked with many types of dogs at the pet spa I feel comfortable taking care of any sized dog. My family also has cats at home so I have lots of experience with cats as well.

“Alyssa was very responsive and experienced giving oral medication to our reluctant old cat. She also offered good ideas to improve Wilt’s food intake and practical solutions to unexpected issues that arouse as we had to prolong our time away. Really a great experience.”
