About: I have four dog nieces and nephews that I love very much and occasionally watch. I check in on my neighbors dog when needed. I successfully dog sat a Great Dane for a week who I fell in love with. I have a large fenced in yard that is the best for zoomies. I work from home M-F with a flexible schedule to take the dogs out to play or for a walk. The summer months I may be less available during the weekends but during the winter I will have more availability. I have a fenced in yard that is large enough for dogs to run. There are no other animals or children at this house making it a relaxing and peaceful place if the dog needs a more chill environment. I do have two doodle nephews that can come to play if the dog needs to socialize.
“This was my second time booking with Alissa and she was just as great the this time around. One of my kitties had an accident, and Alissa helped clean up and kept me updated throughout her drop-in on how my cat was doing. She’s very reliable and definitely my new go-to for watching my cats!”

“natalie was the best first-time petsitter for our shy cat, inca. she made sure inca was SO well taken care of, had perfect communication, and always made sure to send cute photos of our girl throughout the weekend! 100% recommend booking with this reliable sitter.”

“Dustin took great care of our two cats! He was very responsive and professional and followed our directions. Our very shy cat even came out to greet him so clearly he knows what he’s doing! We will definitely book again!!”

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of animals for about 4 years now. This is the first time I’m doing this on a site, however, I am very familiar with the needs of dogs and cats and am very open and understanding regarding dogs with specific and unique needs. I have raised 2 female puppies myself and have been entrusted with friends animals as well while they have been away. This is not just a “side gig” for me. Animals really bring me happiness and joy into my life and I don’t see myself enjoying anything more than this! I do have a full time job currently and don’t get home until 5pm on tues-thurs. Mondays and Fridays I work at home. I have off the weekends. I have one ESA dog of my own that would enjoy the company of other dogs in our home! I prefer to bring my pup with me when I house sit, however, if not allowed by the client, I could do house sitting at daytime! Where I spend most of my time with your pet but I wouldn’t sleep overnight at your home as I have a pet at my home.
About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.
About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua mix) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 16 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, a large Newfoundland, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a second year medical student, so while I am busy with school I hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.
“We really appreciated Hannah. She was prompt and professional and showed immense comfort around my 3 dogs who had never been let out by someone they didn't know. I'd use her every time!”

“My cat is very skittish, and Sierra did a great job meeting him where he's at!! She took care of him and sent pictures while respecting his space :) I'll definitely book with her again!”

“Brenna is so attentive and sends the absolute best updates. It's very evident how much she loves and enjoys my pup. That, and good care is all I can ask for, and it's delivered. highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Campus
Alissa was beyond wonderful. She took care of my cat for 10 days in a row and consistently sent detailed and thorough notes the entire time! She even noticed a little any issue in my apartment while I was away, and instead of shying away from it, she took care of them everyday - going wayyyy above and beyond what she signed up for. Additionally, my cat requires daily meds, and Alissa happily learned how to administer them and let me know how it went every day. I 10000% trust her with my cat care and will be asking her to watch my cat again in the future!!

Chris did an amazing job taking care of Maggie! He was very communicative throughout my time away, which gave me great peace of mind. Maggie clearly had a great time with him, and it looked like they had an absolute blast together. I’d definitely recommend Chris and would be happy to have him watch Maggie again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She took such wonderful care of our two cats and went above and beyond to accommodate their individual needs. She was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and made sure they received plenty of love and playtime while we were away. The photos she sent were absolutely the best and gave us so much peace of mind. We are so grateful for the care she gave Charley and Coco and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets!

Vanessa was super nice, professional, and easy to communicate with. She truly “speaks cat”—our cat Rhubarb adores her and even our super hidey former feral Newt came out to hang with her. She sent us lots of photos and detailed report cards, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Vanessa for your cat sitting needs. We certainly hope to work with her again soon!

Sumedha was the absolute best. Prior to having her watch my two kitties, I had never used Rover. I am so glad I did. She created a google document an shared it with me, and it included times in and out, as well as pictures of both my kitties with captions about what they were doing! Her notes were detailed and she followed all care instructions meticulously. I would highly recommend her for the peace of mind while traveling. I will surely be booking with her again! Thank you, so so much!

Ashley is absolutely amazing! I have one cat with high separation anxiety. I love that every time I return from a long trip. My kitty is happy and acting completely normally no anxiety, present or issues at all. Ashley loves what she does and it shows in how she cares for my girls.
