About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: I’ve always lived in a household with cats and dogs - growing up, my parents had cats and dogs and now that I live on my own, I have 2 kitties of my own - Pumpkin and Jasper! I have pet sat for neighbors, friends, and coworkers and am always so happy to do it! I work fully remote and have flexible hours, so it is easy for me to drop in! I also could work at your home and spend time with your babies if you have wifi! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my 2 kitties. I’ve had them both since they were kittens - one is 5 years old now and the other is 3 years old. They are spoiled with treats, play time, brushing, and kisses!

You can trust me to not only keep your dog safe, but to keep them happy and healthy. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Would love to spend more time with animals, and can make most things work with my schedule. I am looking forward to helping keep your pet active and well cared for! I am located in the Atwood neighborhood, north east madison. I’m available for dog walking, pet check ins, and in home pet sitting if you’re away for a trip or work. Your pet will be safe and cared for with me. I prefer to care for the pets in your home as I currently am in a rental that does not allow pets. Also this will keep your pet most comfortable / in their routine.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I love to take care of them to ensure they stay happy and healthy! I have experience bathing (only dogs) and grooming pets. Most of all, I love spending time with your pets to reduce the stress of their owner being away. My schedule is pretty irregular but I am available a lot of the time! Always feel free to reach out with any questions about my current availability! I like to keep things the way I found them and not leave any mess for the owner to clean up. I provide the regular services like feeding or walking your pet of course, but I mainly strive to spend as much time with your pet as I can.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was old enough to know what a pet was, whether it’s my own, a neighbor’s, or a friend/family member’s. I love animals, and am considering going into vet work! I have experience with both puppies/kittens and seniors as well :). I can walk, feed, give meds, and do anything you need! I’m a full-time student during the week, but I will always have time to drop-in, or stay overnight. I’m very flexible with my scheduling, so I will happily do whatever you and your pet need! While I can’t offer boarding at my home because I have four roommates, I will care for pets in every way possible no matter what! I know some nice parks for walks, and I’m also happy to chill if they’re a homebody! Again, entirely up to you and your pets needs :)

About: I’m a pre veterinary student, and I intern at an urgent care vet clinic, which gave me a lot of experience understanding important health signs, but also has taught me to be comfortable with dogs of all energy levels, personality, etc. Additionally, I am a dog walker at a local shelter. I’m comfortable giving meds, helping with senior pets, and making sure every pet feels safe and loved. Whether your pup needs playtime, slow walks, or just some good snuggles, I’ve got it covered! I am currently interning part time and well as volunteering at a local shelter, but I have lots of free time this summer!. I have time during the days for walks and check ins and am so eager to spend the time I have in the area helping where I can! I have a dog that absolutely loves playing! He is very small, but he gets along with dogs of all sizes and can play in my fenced in yard! If I am at your home, I will adjust to match the energy of your pet, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable while providing them with proper care.
