About: Since I was little I’ve taken care of many pets! People have relied on me when out of town many times for a puppy and older dogs. I’ve bathed dogs, cut their hair, given medicine, etc.. I am a student but in my free time i love to take care of and hangout with peoples animals! I do like hourly rate better than day pay rate as well but am open to either. I will respect your home and pet. I will play with them outside if they have a yard and make sure they feel loved. I will always be responsible and take great care of them.
“Julie let me know a new dog would be present at the same time as my dog, and she made sure to attempt to make introduce successful with a 3rd dog. She let me know she was able to keep dogs in separate areas as needed, let dogs have space from each other, and make sure my pup was safe and comfortable.”

“We were lucky to have Cynthia as our dog sitter. Cynthia and her family were able to watch our dog Gary on short notice, which made us really happy. Right from the beginning, Cynthia communicated with us well and was very friendly and understanding. We felt comfortable leaving Gary with Cynthia. She sent regular updates with photos and wrote a lovely Rover card at the end, filled with pictures and lots of details. It was so thoughtful and sweet. We would definitely recommend her to others without hesitation. Cynthia is professional, kind, and genuinely loves dogs. Thank you for taking such great care of Gary and being an outstanding dog sitter!”

About: I have taken care of dogs from all age groups. Whether a senior dog who needs frequent bathroom breaks or a puppy who wants lots of attention and reinforcement, I love all of them. Besides, being a tennis player means I gotta put my unlimited supply of balls to use:) I work from home three days a week. If our furry guest prefers lots of attention or frequent bathroom breaks, it would be a perfect match. I only take in one dog a time. There won’t be other pets at home. There’s a dog run in my apartment complex. I also live within walking distance of a dog park.
“Carnegie had the best day with Robert and made a new friend! Carnegie just had surgery and Robert was so accommodating for her! She cannot wait to visit again!”

“Eric, Rachel and Lilo were amazing hosts for my puppy! They were super flexible with drop-off/pick-up times, they sent lots of pics/updates, and Cleo came home exhausted. I am extra grateful that they were able to take Cleo last minute. I will definitely rebook with them!”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I’m used to all kinds of dogs whether it be age, energy level, or condition as I’ve had a mix of all at my job and growing up! I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. Max I’ll be gone is four hours, but that rarely happens. My dog is very friendly and energetic, but also knows when a dog doesn’t want to play. She’s very silly and loves to sleep! I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. A dogs safety and their comfort are a top priority for me! I also have a fenced in patio with dog grass if your pup needs a quick potty break!
“Yecid was very attentive to my dog's care. He followed Max's feeding instructions and kept me informed and sent me photos throughout the day. I truly recommend this sitter. Thank you for your services, which I will use in the future.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have experience dog sitting for neighbors as well. I'm comfortable with different breeds and routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I'm reliable, attentive, and love being around animals. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I'm currently a student at UW-Madison with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable care, including walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the week. I prioritize making pets feel safe and comfortable at all times. I carefully follow their routine and specific needs, ensuring they get plenty of attention and care. I'm very attentive and provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.

“This was our first time with Luke. He was a terrific dog sitter! He took time to find out about Skye's history and special needs, to introduce her carefully to the two other dogs in his care, and to communicate promptly with me. The environment was calm, clean and dog-friendly. I was so happy to see pictures of Skye and thear that she was adjusting well. I hope to have Skye with Luke again in the near future.”
About: From second grade until this past year, I grew up taking care of my maltese shih tzu everyday, named Ruby. She was certainly a very spoiled and loved dog! Since she passed just a couple months ago, it's been strange lacking the comfort and company that Ruby always provided me when I was alone- whether that was on long hiking adventures or just relaxing. In spite of her passing, and my overall affection for animals, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding new furry friends to take care of, play with, and join me on my walks! Growing up, I also frequently took care of my neighbor's dogs which gave me experience with all different breeds, sizes, and behaviors of dogs as well as cats. And aside from all my love for Ruby, she was definitely stubborn and picky so I have experience in dealing with difficult dogs, keeping patience, and figuring out how to accommodate each individual dogs needs and personality. Additionally, my sister has been on rover for years and has watched countless dogs and cats through this platform, and I've helped her out a lot, which has obviously provided me with the most relevant experience possible! I will be a junior at UW-Madison, but for now I am enjoying my summer in Madison without classes going on! Therefore, I have plenty of free time and so I'd love to fill it with caring for pets! Living at a prime location in the UW-Madison campus, and having easy access to my car means I can walk or drive to you and your pet and come to your home even if it's outside of campus. Whether your dog likes to loiter around every mailbox we pass on walks, or if they like to run, then I'm the dog walker for them! I'm happy to do a casual stroll and bathroom break, and just as happy to do long, multiple-mile walks. As I've gotten used to my whole life, I will always pick up after your dog and will make sure they stay safe and close to me by using whatever leash and collar you can provide. And no matter the weather, I'm still happy to spend the time outside with your dog! If you just need me to stop by to feed your pet and take them for a potty break outside, then I will happily pick up after them in the yard and after they are done eating. I grew up in nice home with a Mom who always taught me to keep things clean, organized, have good manners, and when at others homes to always leave things cleaner than how it was when I arrived. I've upheld these morals in college and so if you'd like me to stay with your pet for extended periods of time at your home, I'm the most trustworthy and respectful person to hire!
South Campus dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kaela watched our girl for a several hours today and she had the best time! It was our first time with her and although we don’t need care often, we will definitely be asking for her again. Lots of updates on her day. She came home a happy girl from all the attention.

Jackie is a great sitter! She is very communicative, and I appreciated that she introduced Cleo to her dogs one at a time, and in an intentional way (in the yard first). She's clearly knowledgeable about dog behavior and best practices. We'll definitely use her again!
