Every dog deserves a good walk
High-energy and athletic PhD recipient. Does your dog need fast-paced or long walks? I’m your guy. Does your small or timid friend need a little encouragement? I have experience with large and small pups. I regularly dog sit and walk friends’ dogs, so I have experience with all sizes and personalities. Can’t wait to meet your little furry friend and give them the attention they need! For house sitting, I can generally offer one midday potty break in addition to standard morning and evening care if you’re located near the west side, including Monroe Street and Fitchburg. For locations farther away, I’m typically able to provide morning and evening care without a midday visit. I can also host well-mannered pets in my dog- and cat-friendly lower-level apartment. The main requirement is that they are comfortable being left alone during the workday and overnight, as I have an upstairs neighbor who works from home. Zach was great our dog loved him. He kept us updated with daily photos and videos. We will definitely try to book him again next time we need a pet sitter!
Zach stayed with our two dogs and cat for five days - and managed to win the trust of our extremely timid little dog, and was even ok with our big affectionate dog wanting to share his bed. Our little dog even hid underneath the porch during one of the first bathroom breaks in the backyard, but Zach patiently lured him back out. By the end of the visit our little dog finally warmed up - quite an amazing feat winning the heart of this nervous pup. Zach also took our big high energy dog out to the dog park and managed to get him tired. He provided daily check-ins with photos or video, and was receptive to suggestions on ways to help our little dog relax. We felt totally comfortable knowing Zach was at our place.
As hard as it is to leave Tofu, we’re always so glad when Zach stays with Tofu! They have so much fun together and Zach was a wonderful guest. I would recommend him to anyone!
Zach was amazing! He was wonderful with our dogs, and they absolutely loved him. He sent us daily photos and summary texts that were so witty and funny—they were genuinely the highlight of our trip. We came home to a house in perfect condition, with our bed laundered and freshly made. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be booking with Zach again!

Schedule
Full time. In between scientist jobs and looking to fill my time with pup and cat fun. It's more of a treat for me than a job.

I regularly do in house dog sitting. I can take your furry friend to the dog park daily and walk in the mornings and evenings as well as care for your home.
A typical day
I love going to the dog park or going on jogs with doggos. Can play with toys or wrestle. Just let me know what kind of attention your doggo needs and we can make it happen.
