“Our dog Halla is a rescue dog and he is very scared and nervous around new people. Robert has watched him few times and I am grateful that he understands that Halla needs time and space to get to know him. I am sure Halla will be in good hands when our family goes on a vacation this summer.”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I’m used to all kinds of dogs whether it be age, energy level, or condition as I’ve had a mix of all at my job and growing up! I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. Max I’ll be gone is four hours, but that rarely happens. My dog is very friendly and energetic, but also knows when a dog doesn’t want to play. She’s very silly and loves to sleep! I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. A dogs safety and their comfort are a top priority for me! I also have a fenced in patio with dog grass if your pup needs a quick potty break!
“Wolfy had such a great day with Mary and her family. He can back very happy, and Mary sent several lovely photos of his time. Mary was also flexible with me when my plans changed after booking, which was so appreciated.”
“Julie let me know a new dog would be present at the same time as my dog, and she made sure to attempt to make introduce successful with a 3rd dog. She let me know she was able to keep dogs in separate areas as needed, let dogs have space from each other, and make sure my pup was safe and comfortable.”

“Manu is very flexible and communicative! She always treats our pup with the best care. Our pup is always so excited to hang with Manu! Would highly recommend Manu to anyone looking for a dog sitter who gives lots of love and care!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. The following summer, my family and I realized how incomplete our lives felt without dogs, so we decide to rescue two more senior dogs, Beanie and Pam! I am heartbroken to say Pam passed away May 17, 2026. My family believes that senior dogs are often overlooked and forgotten, but I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of your furry friend! I will be taking asynchronous summer classes starting in mid-June. I’m hoping to start working as a PCW twice a week. I’m also waiting to hear back from research/phlebotomy positions. However, as of now, I am completely free all day every day! Studio apartment! Can take outside for walks etc. I want to ensure I’m home the whole time since it will be a new environment! Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter! I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry friend.

“Grace was great to work with! She was very quick to respond and provided me with the peace of mind that my dog was well taken care of. Highly recommend Grace to anyone in the Madison area!”

“Kayla and Lorelei are conscientious, kind dog lovers which are the cornerstones of what I look for in dog boarding. But just as important, they understand the importance of daily activity and provide regular trips to dog parks where my dog can exercise off leash. Thank you!”
About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, so I understand the different needs of every animal. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a bit more care and attention, I know how to adapt. Whether it's providing daily walks, offering training, or simply offering companionship, I ensure every pet feels comfortable and loved. I believe in treating each pet as an individual, providing the right care for their unique personality, and making sure they feel safe and happy in your absence. As a student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I don’t have classes on Mondays or Fridays, and during the week I have breaks between classes—perfect for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. I also spend most evenings and nights at home, which makes boarding a great fit for me. I love having animals around and giving them the time, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure the space is safe, calm, and comfortable. For dogs, I can easily crate them if needed and always keep a leash on hand for safety during walks and potty breaks. I follow their routine closely to help them feel at home. For cats, I have plenty of toys and love spending time playing, feeding, and giving them the quiet companionship they enjoy during visits.
“My 7-month-old Jazzy Girl whines in excitement when we arrive at Suellen's, and once out of the car, she races up the steps, eager to be with her friends, Suellen's dogs, Mia & Wes. They all play well together.”

About: I have taken care of dogs from all age groups. Whether a senior dog who needs frequent bathroom breaks or a puppy who wants lots of attention and reinforcement, I love all of them. Besides, being a tennis player means I gotta put my unlimited supply of balls to use:) I work from home three days a week. If our furry guest prefers lots of attention or frequent bathroom breaks, it would be a perfect match. I only take in one dog a time. There won’t be other pets at home. There’s a dog run in my apartment complex. I also live within walking distance of a dog park.
About: I adopted a rescue puppy in 2019 and have since become a full-fledged dog person. After being that person who sits and pets your dog at parties it's been fun having a dog of my own. My dog is a big bro who loves walks and going to the dog park to hang with other dogs. I love dogs of all types. I work from home and have some availability during the week for dog walks, cat cuddles, and home visits. If our pets get along, I'd be happy to board your dog for a weekend trip. Please let me know what your pet needs and the best way to approach them if I am visiting your home or walking your dog. If you are interested in drop-in or boarding for your dog, I have a fenced backyard and don't mind pets on the furniture. We will need to do an introduction to see if our dogs get along.

“This was our first time with Luke. He was a terrific dog sitter! He took time to find out about Skye's history and special needs, to introduce her carefully to the two other dogs in his care, and to communicate promptly with me. The environment was calm, clean and dog-friendly. I was so happy to see pictures of Skye and thear that she was adjusting well. I hope to have Skye with Luke again in the near future.”
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my extensive hands-on experience. I've fostered puppies numerous times, giving me a deep understanding of the unique needs and care that young dogs require. Additionally, with over four years of dog sitting experience, I've developed a strong ability to connect with dogs of all ages and personalities, ensuring they receive the best care and attention while you're away. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start with morning rounds for feeding, walking, and playtime, followed by midday check-ins for pets needing extra attention. Evening visits round out the day, ensuring pets are fed and settled for the night. I maintain flexibility for any special requests or emergencies, ensuring I'm always available to meet the needs of the pets and their owners effectively. When caring for pets in a client's home, I closely adhere to their regular routines for feeding, walks, and medications to maintain a sense of normalcy. I engage pets with tailored activities to keep them active and mentally stimulated, while also providing companionship and comfort. Regular updates, including photos, keep pet owners connected and reassured. I prioritize a clean and safe environment, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for both the pet and owner.
About: I took care of my family's dog until I moved to college, and I really miss having a dog! Rover is perfect because it will allow me to satisfy my love for dogs while fitting with my schedule and helping you. I am also hoping to get a dog in the near future. I enjoy running and walking so having a dog with energy is not a problem as long as they are leash trained. I’m currently working from home full time. I can be flexible on when walks occur but am fairly busy between 8-5 and need some heads up to plan around meetings. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take your dog on frequent walks or as needed if you’re booking that service. I’m careful to follow instructions on how to get into your house for walks and lock up on the way out.
“Meghan was great for Winnie and Rigsbee’s afternoon and evening stay. Responded quickly to the reservation request. Rigsbee had upset stomach from something - maybe eating some of Winnie’s food before we left them. She washed and dried the blanket we left. Pics showed the dogs comfortably lounging. We definitely would use her again!”
