About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! I have no pets currently so full attention will be devoted to your animal! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel comfortable handling all sizes and breeds.

About: I have over two years of experience with dog walking and dog sitting, along with professional experience working at a dog grooming facility and dog hotel. I was responsible for caring for dogs staying at the hotel, making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m also a dog owner myself! I have three dogs: Liah, a Shih Tzu, and Lilo and Lady, two Australian Labradoodles. About: I have taken care of my dog Koda for 15 years. So I have been with him since he was a puppy to and elder. I trained him to go through obstacles, taken him on countless walks and hikes, and showered him with lots of love. I’m currently a college student so my classes vary each day. I am free Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays before 12 and I am free Fridays and weekends. I am flexible to help out late afternoons Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I live in a very calm, spacious, and animal friendly apartment. I am also surrounded by nature and live one minute away from a beautiful and lengthy walking path with lots of greenery. I also am very well organized so I would make sure your home looked exactly as it did before I arrived. I am more than happy to be accommodating to peoples privacy and living space.

About: Animals have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember—from growing up around my family’s German Shepherd breeding and training work, to years of rescuing and fostering both dogs and cats. About: I am a current college student. I have had dogs since I was 1 while also starting pet sitting at 12. I currently have a dog at home that is my best friend. We love to play frisbee, go on walks, and sunbathe together. I don't have time to have a dog at school, so I would love to help you out with yours! About: From second grade until this past year, I grew up taking care of my maltese shih tzu everyday, named Ruby. She was certainly a very spoiled and loved dog! Since she passed just a couple months ago, it's been strange lacking the comfort and company that Ruby always provided me when I was alone- whether that was on long hiking adventures or just relaxing. In spite of her passing, and my overall affection for animals, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding new furry friends to take care of, play with, and join me on my walks! Growing up, I also frequently took care of my neighbor's dogs which gave me experience with all different breeds, sizes, and behaviors of dogs as well as cats. And aside from all my love for Ruby, she was definitely stubborn and picky so I have experience in dealing with difficult dogs, keeping patience, and figuring out how to accommodate each individual dogs needs and personality. Additionally, my sister has been on rover for years and has watched countless dogs and cats through this platform, and I've helped her out a lot, which has obviously provided me with the most relevant experience possible! I will be a junior at UW-Madison, but for now I am enjoying my summer in Madison without classes going on! Therefore, I have plenty of free time and so I'd love to fill it with caring for pets! Living at a prime location in the UW-Madison campus, and having easy access to my car means I can walk or drive to you and your pet and come to your home even if it's outside of campus. Whether your dog likes to loiter around every mailbox we pass on walks, or if they like to run, then I'm the dog walker for them! I'm happy to do a casual stroll and bathroom break, and just as happy to do long, multiple-mile walks. As I've gotten used to my whole life, I will always pick up after your dog and will make sure they stay safe and close to me by using whatever leash and collar you can provide. And no matter the weather, I'm still happy to spend the time outside with your dog! If you just need me to stop by to feed your pet and take them for a potty break outside, then I will happily pick up after them in the yard and after they are done eating. I grew up in nice home with a Mom who always taught me to keep things clean, organized, have good manners, and when at others homes to always leave things cleaner than how it was when I arrived. I've upheld these morals in college and so if you'd like me to stay with your pet for extended periods of time at your home, I'm the most trustworthy and respectful person to hire!

About: I’ve been hired by members of my community to, dog sit, walk, and accompany pups on overnight stays in the past up to 3 dogs at a time. I’m committed to caring for your pet like a member of your family! I grew up with dogs my entire life and I want to expand my personal network! Weekends free when I am in town! Expanding my dog sitting network! On quiet weekends I like take the pup(s) on neighborhood walks. Week days I work hybrid in Verona so my check in availability is limited to a close proximity to the office. With new clients I usually schedule an in person meet-up to get introduced to your pet and get to know your preferences for feeding, outdoor potty time, toys, sleeping arrangement, house sitting requests, exit and entry to your home, medications, etc. I follow written and verbal directions with care. For home check ins I will briefly check your home to make sure things are as you left them. I check your pets water supply and give them adequate snuggle or play time indoors and outdoors before leaving locking entry and exit ways.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, so being around animals has always been a big part of my day to day. I don’t currently have one at my place, which is honestly why I’m excited to get back into it and spend time with dogs again. When I was younger, I ran a small dog walking business in my neighborhood, so I’m used to handling different dogs and making sure they get the exercise and attention they need.
