About: I've been the neighborhood pet sitter since I was in 5th grade, taking care of cats and dogs of all ages and sizes! Additionally, my experience handling horses makes me confident in my ability to handle and walk any dog. I have loved animals all my life and would love to spend some time with yours! This summer I am a part-time student, and would love to spend my free time being active or cozy with your cat or dog! My classes are online, so I don't have a set schedule, and can be extremely flexible. I am comfortable performing any task your animal may need in your home! About: I am a dog, cat and pet lover. I will stop 10/10 times to pet a dog and learn about him or her. At the local park, I know most of the dogs by their names and ironically, few of the owners haha. I would love the opportunity to spend time with someone's best friend and help out! I am very attentive, detail oriented and careful with animals. I also know animals are more than "pets" they are just like family. I would be honored to help take care of someone's best friend for a few hours or days to help out. I offer a safe, secure space for someones pet as well as close access to a park and outdoor space. I am available for walks as well as for visits or assistance on Fridays and most weekends. I believe dogs help people just as much as people help dogs! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate pet parents and their schedules as needed. I am able to offer short or longer walks, pet sitting and other services as needed. In my home, I have a clear open space and am able to spend close time with my clients pets while they are in my care. We are just a short distance to a small park with plenty of outside walking options. We can sit and watch tv, play catch, or take naps.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. Plenty of time to play and take care of your pets. I follow and respect all given instructions. I also make it a point to reach out whenever there are concerns or to send some updates/pictures. I genuinely care about the well-being of your pets and respecting your time.

About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.

About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

“I needed some last minute help with my senior dog, and Alissa responded back quickly and was able to help me out!! She came to meet our pets and get the layout, and helped us out almost right away! She is very kind and gentle with our Murphy and even gives our two cats some loving even though we booked her for a dog walk! As someone with OCD and anxiety, my brain and body feel comfortable and safe with Alissa taking care of our senior puppy when we aren’t at home. Looking forward to hopefully booking with her again!!”

About: Hi, I’m June! I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl and have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats and more. I grew up with dogs (my family loves black labs) and have cared for them throughout all life stages. I have experience administering medication and am happy to meet all of the individualized needs of your pet. I am a very active person and love being outdoors, I'd love to take your dog on a long walk and give them all the attention! I currently work part time, but have flexible evening hours and open availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I live right down town and can easily accommodate frequent and short notice visits for your pet! I take pride in being a very responsible, trustworthy and dependable person, and will treat your pet and home with the utmost care and respect. I have experience with both house sitting and pet sitting, and am always happy to water plants or take care of anything else you may need :)
