About: Dogs have always been a big part of my family; I've known them my whole life. At 10 I helped raise two shih tzu litters, mainly playing and food prep. At 12, I raised an English lab puppy, and at 14, I raised a shih tzu puppy. Puppy care includes feeding, grooming, playing, potty training, and basic command training. Last summer I fostered a very energetic adult standard poodle who was always ready to play and required hours of daily exercise and mental stimulation. We went on many fun adventures that summer- dog parks, trails, doggy beaches and more! As of now, I'm free in the mornings and afternoons, weekends or weekdays! I prefer to be outside when it's light out, so I avoid walking past sunset (7-8 pm in summer). I live in a small studio apartment in a high-rise building, so boarding will be limited to small dogs. House sitting and walking is open to everyone.

About: I am a college aged kid living in Madison, who grew up with a dog throughout my childhood and am used to taking care of it, as well as being surrounded by dogs for most of my life. I’m also an active person who is good with people, so i’m more than inclined and eager to walk dogs and take care of them I work part time as a bartender, so my hours are mostly in the evening and at night, so I have plenty of time to help out during the day with pet care. I live in a typical apartment just off the UW campus with roommates, so pet care in home isn’t for me, but i’m more then happy to drive out to wherever your pet is to give it a walk or take care of it!!

About: I’ve been surrounded by and taken care of animals since I was a toddler. I grew up with all sorts of animals in the home from Guinea pigs and bunnies to dogs and birds! I’ve pet sat on occasion including dogs and cats as well as chickens and horses! I’m currently self employed and am taking on work through Rover to support my business as I’ve experienced a transition with work over the past few months. This makes me very flexible during the week and weekends. I want to provide an experience that makes you feel comfortable and your pet cared for when you aren’t able to be there. Creating an environment that reflects the care that you give your pets is my priority as a pet owner myself.

About: I have been dog, baby, and house sitting since I was 10 (~13 years). I have personally had a cat and 4 dogs throughout growing up and have taken diligent and loving care of them from walks/runs, veterinary care, to lots and lots of snuggles. I'm currently a student doing predominantly online classes, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to fit pet care into the routine. I also lead a very active lifestyle taking multiple walks/jogs throughout the day that would only be enhanced with a furry companion. I live in an apartment with no other pets and I have a very clean and safe indoor living area as well and could always crate him/her if needed.

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have always loved being around them. My family has had German and Australian Shepherds, Dobermanns, and Rottweilers, so I’m very comfortable with larger breeds as well as high-energy dogs. Being around dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy caring for them. I currently volunteer at Paws and Claws Humane Society, where I work with dogs of all ages, personalities, and training levels. This has given me great experience reading dog behavior, handling different temperaments, and making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also helped my roommate last year with her Rover boarding clients and gained experience caring for multiple dogs at once. I loved getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. One of my favorite things to do is take dogs on long walks and get them outside for fresh air, exercise, and stimulation. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing and getting attention, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care! I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care and give dogs the time and attention they deserve. I’m able to accommodate walks, check ins, and longer visits, and I love spending time outside taking dogs on long walks or giving them plenty of playtime and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely so pets can stay in their normal routine and feel as comfortable as possible. I make sure dogs are supervised, have water, and get plenty of exercise, attention, and bathroom breaks. I’m very attentive on walks and always keep dogs securely leashed unless the owner instructs otherwise. I’m also mindful of each dog’s personality, energy level, and any special needs they may have. About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

About: I’m always excited to meet new pet friends! I have veterinary assistant experience. I am comfortable giving medications or more complex treatments such as insulin injections. I have an open and flexible schedule. I can do daily drop in visits and walks as needed. Since my time may fill up with other pet sitting appointments, early notice is preferred. I like to learn as much as possible about your fur babies’ personalities so I can cater to your pet’s behavioral needs and preferences. For walk safety, I like to use harnesses over collars to make sure your pup has less risk of slipping away.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up as a child. My own kids love animals and enjoy being around pets and helping care for them. We enjoy caring for neighbors pets when they go on vacation. We are a family of educators, so we have a lot of availability in the summer. During the school year, we are available most weekends. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do have 3 kids who LOVE to take dogs on walks and play with pets. We can play with your pet outside on a leash, or inside our home.
