About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. About: I have a family dog that has been around since my elementary school days, so I have experience taking care of him from both his time as a puppy and an elder currently! About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

About: I have been a dog owner to dogs my whole life, never knowing life without one in the household. Whether my family had their own dogs or fosters, I have always been comfortable taking care of them. This is includes making sure they are fed, walked, played with, and cuddled more than enough. I have also helped out neighbors with walking their dogs and watching them for a couple nights on their vacations as well. Otherwise, I volunteered at my local dog shelter to walk dogs or clean their cages whenever I was free. My family has had German and Australian Shepherds, Dobermanns, and Rottweilers, so I’m very comfortable with larger breeds as well as high-energy dogs. About: I am a dog, cat and pet lover. I will stop 10/10 times to pet a dog and learn about him or her. At the local park, I know most of the dogs by their names and ironically, few of the owners haha. I would love the opportunity to spend time with someone's best friend and help out!
