About: Hi! My name is Malia and I am a sophomore at UW Madison studying Psychology! I’ve grown up caring for my family’s Golden Retriever for the past 12 years, along with helping care for my grandma’s dogs—a rescue mix and a poodle. I’ve always loved spending time with animals, and getting to meet new furry friends is one of my favorite parts of pet sitting! As I mentioned, I’m currently a full time college student, and I have a small part time job at an after school camp for kids. About: I have experience working at a dog daycare, (Dana’s Dog Spa and Daycare in Hutchinson, MN) where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and making sure each dog was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ve also spent many years caring for the pets of friends and family, providing reliable cat and dog sitting while they were away and regularly walking their dogs. I’ve always looked forward to spending time with them, and I genuinely enjoy caring for animals! I am available mornings (7am - 10:30 am) and evenings (4pm - 11 pm) on M, T, TH, and F.
