About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been caring for dogs since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with dogs, helped train my family’s pups, and have been the go-to dog sitter for family and friends for years. I’m comfortable with walks, baths, feeding routines, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, cuddly, or a little goofy, I’ll treat them like they’re my own :) Currently accepting bookings for July only, as I will be moving at the end of the month! See my calendar for availability! I’m currently a graduate student finishing my final courses online this summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available by request in the mornings, afternoons, and on weekends, and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. My goal is to be flexible and reliable so I can step in and provide consistent care whenever you need help with your pets :) I always aim to make them feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as possible. I’m very adaptable and I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs. Before any booking, I like to ask a few questions about your pet’s habits, personality, and preferences so I can provide the best care tailored specifically to them. I follow feeding, walking, and medication routines closely and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. If I’m in your home, I also respect your space and keep things clean and consistent for your pet so they feel secure in their familiar environment.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. Plenty of time to play and take care of your pets. I follow and respect all given instructions. I also make it a point to reach out whenever there are concerns or to send some updates/pictures. I genuinely care about the well-being of your pets and respecting your time.

About: I have been dog, baby, and house sitting since I was 10 (~13 years). I have personally had a cat and 4 dogs throughout growing up and have taken diligent and loving care of them from walks/runs, veterinary care, to lots and lots of snuggles. I'm currently a student doing predominantly online classes, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to fit pet care into the routine. I also lead a very active lifestyle taking multiple walks/jogs throughout the day that would only be enhanced with a furry companion. I live in an apartment with no other pets and I have a very clean and safe indoor living area as well and could always crate him/her if needed.

About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

About: I grew up mostly around cats, however, a year and a half ago I adopted my first dog and fell in love. Since then I've discovered a passion for caring for animals and giving them the best and most fulfilled life that they can have. I recently lost both of my fur babies due to health issues out of my control so I have a gap in my heart and daily routine that I want to fill with caring for animals. I am currently a full-time student also working part-time, so my schedule changes slightly from week to week but that will not deter me from giving my full attention to your pets. I know my work schedule around 1-2 weeks in advance and my school schedule changes every semester. Whether you need someone to pop in for a little bit or stay for an evening, I am willing to work something out that fits both of our schedules! I am willing to care for your pets in any way needed and am open to learning new things and ways of doing things. I will take your dog on any length walk they need, play outside or inside, feeding, grooming, and just plain spending time with them. As of right now I am only open to providing care in your home, as I currently live with my parents.

She is very kind and gentle with our Murphy and even gives our two cats some loving even though we booked her for a dog walk! As someone with OCD and anxiety, my brain and body feel comfortable and safe with Alissa taking care of our senior puppy when we aren’t at home. About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.

About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a second year medical student, so while I am busy with school I hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.
