About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! Before moving to Wisconsin, I owned and operated a dog walking and overnight boarding business in Maryland for two years. These days, I spend much of my time fostering dogs for a local rescue, helping them decompress, learn home life, and get ready for their forever families. With three personal dogs, I’m very comfortable managing a multi-dog household and all the different personalities that come with it. I’ve cared for everything from energetic, playful pups to seniors who prefer a cozy spot on the couch, as well as rescue dogs who need extra patience, structure, or time to feel comfortable. Fostering has taught me that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to dogs. I pay close attention to body language, respect boundaries, make thoughtful introductions, and adjust my approach based on what each individual dog needs. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind and wonder how they’re doing. You can expect daily updates from me, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is settling in and what they’ve been up to. My goal is to give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay—and give you the peace of mind that they’re with someone experienced, attentive, and who truly gets dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a middle schooler and work remotely part-time, which means I’m home quite a bit and have plenty of flexibility to give the animals in my care lots of attention, love, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and downtime. With three resident dogs—a 70 lb senior mix, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier, and a 1-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog mix—and all three started out as fosters who never left! I continue to foster regularly and work very closely with a local dog rescue, so welcoming another dog into our routine is something the dogs are very accustomed to. Dogs staying with us aren't spending the day alone waiting for someone to come home from work. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on everyone, accommodate individual routines, and provide plenty of attention (or a cozy place to nap, if that's more their speed!). Pet care is genuinely part of my everyday life, and I love it that way. Here, pets are treated like part of the family. My dogs are kennel trained, but they're also welcome throughout the home—including on the furniture and beds. I'm happy to follow your lead, though! If your dog sleeps in a crate, follows certain house rules, eats on a specific schedule, or isn't allowed on furniture at home, I'll do my best to keep their routine consistent. I live in a large apartment, so all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I'm very comfortable with puppies and their extra needs, including frequent potty breaks, potty pads, crate training, and the general chaos that comes with puppyhood! I have extra crates that can accommodate dogs up to approximately 75–80 lbs, plus more dog beds and toys than any household probably needs. If your pet has food or environmental allergies, please let me know. I am very accustomed to managing allergies and am happy to follow specific instructions regarding food, treats, medications, or environmental triggers. Because your dog will share our home with my husband, middle-school-aged child, and our three resident dogs, dogs staying with us must be comfortable with older children, men, and other dogs. I take introductions and dog body language seriously and want every animal in the house—yours and mine—to feel safe and comfortable. While others do live in the home, I will be the caregiver for any other animals. For care in your home, I'll follow your lead. You know your pets and their routine best, and my goal is to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you're away. I'm also happy to care for more than just dogs during in-home visits—cats and other household pets are welcome, too! Whether your pet stays with us or I care for them in their own home, I'll treat their individual routine as exactly that: individual. Some pets want to be your shadow, some want nonstop playtime, and some would prefer that I serve dinner promptly and otherwise respect their personal space. I'm good with all three!

About: Hi! My name is Malia and I am a sophomore at UW Madison studying Psychology! I’ve grown up caring for my family’s Golden Retriever for the past 12 years, along with helping care for my grandma’s dogs—a rescue mix and a poodle. I’ve always loved spending time with animals, and getting to meet new furry friends is one of my favorite parts of pet sitting! As I mentioned, I’m currently a full time college student, and I have a small part time job at an after school camp for kids. I will try my best to accommodate to everyone’s schedule and hope you understand that I may need flexibility to provide the correct and attentive care for your furry friends :) When I’m caring for your pet, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. About: I have experience working at a dog daycare, (Dana’s Dog Spa and Daycare in Hutchinson, MN) where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and making sure each dog was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ve also spent many years caring for the pets of friends and family, providing reliable cat and dog sitting while they were away and regularly walking their dogs. I’ve always looked forward to spending time with them, and I genuinely enjoy caring for animals! I am available mornings (7am - 10:30 am) and evenings (4pm - 11 pm) on M, T, TH, and F. And I am available most weekends as I’m a college student, but I do not have a car on campus so I will be walking or taking the bus! I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! I care for each and every pet with the same love and attention I’d give my own. About: Since I was little I’ve taken care of many pets! People have relied on me when out of town many times for a puppy and older dogs. I’ve bathed dogs, cut their hair, given medicine, etc.. No matter what it says on here I am always taking new pets! Sometimes this app randomly changes my availability or accessibility. Please ALWAYS REACH OUT!!! About: I grew up with cats as pets but i’ve always loved being around all animals. I adopted my first dog in college and that really kickstarted my appreciation for dogs! Since then, I’ve moved to a place where I cannot have pets so sitting through Rover has helped fill that gap in my life. I currently work full time Monday through Friday but can be fairly flexible with my schedule, and I work from home a lot so I could fit a drop-in or dog walking booking into my weekdays from time to time. I am willing to care for your pets in any way needed and am open to learning new things and ways of doing things. I will take your dog on any length walk they need, play outside or inside, feeding, grooming, and just plain spending time with them. As of right now I am only open to providing care in your home, as I currently live in a no pets allowed building.

About: Hi, I'm Matt! I've been caring for cats and dogs since I was a kid. Growing up, I was the go-to kid in my neighborhood to watch after pets. I've personally raised and trained four dogs now (all rescues!) and love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am an avid runner, biker, and nature enjoyer. I'd love the opportunity to meet more furry friends and would be honored to help you with yours. I am also set up for bathing and cleaning dogs! I am an early riser and start my day off taking care of my puppy. I live downtown and have immediate access to the commuter bike trails and can get wherever I need to be whenever I need to be there. Being that I love getting outdoors and moving around, I have my days set to same and am a moment's notice from supporting you! I firmly believe that our homes are sacred. My promise to you is that you will never know I was there. In my own home, I tidy up my dog's playthings and ensure that she always has access to food and water. I will dispose of your pet's waste in a wag bag and turn it in at a community bin to prevent your home from stinking. I understand that all dogs are different and can certainly accommodate any quirks.

About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible.
