About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a second year medical student, so while I am busy with school I hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.

About: I've spent over the last 8 years pet-sitting, dog-walking, working with horses and farm animals, and worked the last 3 years at a small animal veterinary hospital. I love cats and dogs so much and am a very active individual, so I put a lot of time and effort into walking and/or playing with the pets. My experience in the veterinary field enables me to administer a range of medicine as needed, as well as be observant of any abnormal behavior. I'm currently an undergraduate student studying veterinary medicine at UW-Madison, where I live downtown. Therefore, my class schedule allows me to make drop-in visits or schedule walks around ideal weather conditions for the pet. Though my ability may vary at some points in the year, I overall have a very flexible schedule. I make sure to be very aware of where the pet feels comfortable in its home during my drop-in visits to not disturb their routine, especially with a new person around.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, that being household pets, and also large farm animals. I grew up showing farm animals at my local fair, and loved it. My love for animals has followed me into my adult-hood. I’ve taken care of many friends dogs of all sorts of breeds, some beings labradors, chow chow, yorki’s, etc. as well as just taking care of my own pet’s. I’m currently a full time student at UW- Madison, but I’m still very flexible. I currently have very light Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, along with the weekends of course. With that being said, I am still available the other days of the week, it may be a little more difficult to find times that work for both of us! I will work with whatever you and your pet needs! I’m ready to adapt to whatever safety precautions your pet needs! Every animal is different, so whether that be certain walking precautions, or dealing with medications/food times I’ve dealt with it all! Just communicate your pets needs and I’ll follow their needs!

About: I've spent most of my life around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family since high school. I have a soft spot for older pets, so I understand that they often need more attention, which I am happy to provide. Whether it's sticking to a routine, administering medication, or keeping company, I'm comfortable handing your pet's unique needs. I currently don't have my own pet, but I'd love to care for yours! I'm currently a graduate student who is working from home for most of the summer, so I am available weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I love taking screen-time breaks throughout the day, and taking care of animals is a great way to do so. I treat every home visit with diligence and respect. I follow routines closely and make sure your animal(s) and home are secure before, during, and after my visit. I appreciate detailed instructions and will send updates as frequently as you'd like.

About: I have experience working at a dog daycare, (Dana’s Dog Spa and Daycare in Hutchinson, MN) where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding, cleaning, and making sure each dog was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ve also spent many years caring for the pets of friends and family, providing reliable cat and dog sitting while they were away and regularly walking their dogs. I’ve always looked forward to spending time with them, and I genuinely enjoy caring for animals! I am available mornings (7am - 10:30 am) and evenings (4pm - 10 pm) on M, T, TH, and F. I am ONLY available Wednesdays AFTER 5 PM. And I am available most weekends as I’m a college student, but I do not have a car on campus so I will be walking or taking the bus! I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! I care for each and every pet with the same love and attention I’d give my own. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely, prioritize safety on every walk and visit, and keep you updated so you can have peace of mind. About: Hi! I’m currently a graduate student at UW–Madison and looking for some pet-sitting opportunities—especially with dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for about 6 years, primarily for friends, family, and referrals. Since moving to Madison last year, I’ve been excited to meet some new pups in the area! I grew up with Labradors and a Yorkie, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I really miss my dog back home, so I love any opportunity to spend time with furry friends here in Madison. Whether it’s walks, playtime, overnight stays, or cozy couch hangouts, I’ll treat your pets like my own. Weekends are generally preferred since I have the most availability then, but I’m also open to weekday opportunities if they can work around my class schedule, especially during the summer when my schedule is a bit more flexible. I’m also relatively new to Rover and currently working on building my clientele in the Madison area, so I’d love the opportunity to provide excellent care for your pets! 🐾 My weekends are when I have the largest availability as I am a full-time graduate student. Pet sitting Thursday-Sunday or Monday is my ideal timeline but I am definitely open to week long care if I am able to make it work with my class schedule. I would prefer to watch the dog in your home as I rent my current home and it does not allow animals. However, when at your home I will make sure your pup is always happy and all of their needs are met. In terms of safety, I will always have them on a leash or in a gated area when needed.

About: Hey pet owners! I am an animal lover like you, and currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs of my own! I am currently in undergrad school for Biology Pre-Med and looking forward to applying for Veterinary school in the next year!:) I also am currently working for a Veterinary hospital as a kennel assistant, where I have many hours and experience in caring and handling cats and dogs:) I am currently an undergraduate senior student. However, I do have availability throughout the weekday and weekend and can work in schedule with your pet as needed. I have been a dog and cat owner for many years! I would say I have a wide variety of experiences for the needs of a pet owner. I am good with feeding, leash walking, giving supplements/ medications, grooming/nail trims, etc.

About: Hi, I'm Matt! I've been caring for cats and dogs since I was a kid. Growing up, I was the go-to kid in my neighborhood to watch after pets. I've personally raised and trained four dogs now (all rescues!) and love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am an avid runner, biker, and nature enjoyer. I'd love the opportunity to meet more furry friends and would be honored to help you with yours. I am also set up for bathing and cleaning dogs! I am an early riser and start my day off taking care of my puppy. I live downtown and have immediate access to the commuter bike trails and can get wherever I need to be whenever I need to be there. Being that I love getting outdoors and moving around, I have my days set to same and am a moment's notice from supporting you! I firmly believe that our homes are sacred. My promise to you is that you will never know I was there. In my own home, I tidy up my dog's playthings and ensure that she always has access to food and water. I will dispose of your pet's waste in a wag bag and turn it in at a community bin to prevent your home from stinking. I understand that all dogs are different and can certainly accommodate any quirks.

About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.
