About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats through personal pet ownership, animal shelter volunteering, fostering, and pet sitting for friends and family. During my undergraduate years, I spent several years volunteering at animal shelters and fostering animals with a wide range of ages, personalities, and care needs. I've cared for young puppies, kittens, adult cats, senior dogs, and older rescues who were still learning potty-training routines. Through these experiences, I've become comfortable working with shy, nervous, and anxious animals, as well as dogs who need extra patience on walks or tend to pull on the leash. I also have experience with basic puppy training, reinforcing commands, managing potty-training accidents, and caring for multiple pets at once. I'm experienced with administering both oral and injectable medications, and I understand the importance of carefully following each pet's specific care instructions. I grew up caring for my family's pug, who lived to be 15 years old, and I currently have a sweet 4 year old rescue dog. I've also fostered and cared for multiple dogs and cats in my home, so I'm familiar with managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. One of the biggest things fostering has taught me is that every animal is different. Some pets want to play all day, while others prefer quiet company or need a little extra time to warm up. I love getting to know each pet individually and making sure they receive the attention, patience, and affection that works best for them! I'm currently a graduate student at UW-Madison, and one of the best parts of my schedule is that my lab allows me very flexible hours! This gives me plenty of freedom throughout the week to work around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Since I'm not tied to a traditional 9 to 5 schedule, I can make time for dog walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight house sitting. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, your kitten wants some extra playtime, or your furry friend just needs someone to keep them company while you're away, I'm happy to help! I also have a 4 year old rescue dog of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime, and spending quality time with animals are already part of my everyday routine. I'm available most days and am happy to coordinate around your pet's usual schedule. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially those who are younger, older, or a little anxious, and I'll do my best to keep their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible. And of course, I'll always make time for plenty of cuddles, playtime, and pictures of your little fur babies! Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities! Through my experience volunteering at animal shelters and fostering dogs and cats, I've learned how important it is to be patient, attentive, and respectful of each animal's individual needs. I'm comfortable caring for shy or anxious pets, energetic puppies, senior animals, and pets who may need a little extra attention or reassurance. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I'll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special care needs. I also have experience administering oral and injectable medications and understand the importance of following the instructions provided for each pet. I live alone with my sweet 4 year old rescue dog, who gets along very well with other animals. I've also cared for multiple cats and dogs in my home before, so I understand the importance of paying attention to each pet's personality, comfort level, and boundaries. I'm mindful of keeping pets secure during walks, being attentive to their behavior, and making sure they feel comfortable in their surroundings. I also treat every client's home with care and respect. Communication is really important to me, so I'm always happy to send regular photos and updates during visits or overnight stays. I want you to be able to relax knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and getting plenty of love and attention while you're away!

About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a second year medical student, so while I am busy with school I hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old. From dogs with never ending energy to grumpy but lovable cats to senior dogs who need some extra care, I’ve seen it all! I’ve cared for most ages and I’m not afraid to get messy. While I’m new to Rover, I have a lot of experience and I’m happy to provide more references. Also, I’m a photographer so I can usually snap some great photos of your babies! I work from home so my schedule is super flexible! I can work daytime visits and walks into my day easily. For stays at your house, your fur baby will get plenty of attention and there will be many opportunities for potty breaks. In your home, I follow your rules. Your pets get lots of love, stick to their schedule and it will be like you never left! I like to keep everyone as close to their normal routines as possible. For overnight stays, I work from home so I can set up my laptop in your home and give lots of attention in between meetings!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since high school and have over 10 years of experience with pets of all kinds. I also started training service dogs in middle school, so I’m comfortable working with different temperaments and routines. I love making pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away! I’m currently a pharmacy student, so my schedule during the school year is structured and reliable. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting around classes and study time, and I enjoy having pets as company during quieter parts of the day. During the summer, I work but still maintain availability for pet care, especially evenings, weekends, and longer stays. I care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and able to stick to their normal routine. I always make sure pets feel safe, calm, and well cared for by following feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any house rules closely.

About: I have taken care of many different types of pets for the past 4 years. From golden labs to parakeets, I love them all a lot. I currently work 8 am to 5 pm during the week, but I am available to dog or cat sit outside of those hours. I have a small dog of my own so I am definitely an animal lover! I have done house visits many times to watch dogs when their owners are out of town and I am very careful to make both the dogs and owners and happy as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of animals for about 4 years now. This is the first time I’m doing this on a site, however, I am very familiar with the needs of dogs and cats and am very open and understanding regarding dogs with specific and unique needs. I have raised 2 female puppies myself and have been entrusted with friends animals as well while they have been away. This is not just a “side gig” for me. Animals really bring me happiness and joy into my life and I don’t see myself enjoying anything more than this! I do have a full time job currently and don’t get home until 5pm on tues-thurs. Mondays and Fridays I work at home. I have off the weekends. I have one ESA dog of my own that would enjoy the company of other dogs in our home! I prefer to bring my pup with me when I house sit, however, if not allowed by the client, I could do house sitting at daytime! Where I spend most of my time with your pet but I wouldn’t sleep overnight at your home as I have a pet at my home.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years and have experience with dogs, cats, farm animals, and wildlife. My professional animal care experience began as a teenager working at Pine Ridge Pet Resort, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing safe, attentive care in both boarding and daycare settings. Since then, animal care has remained a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets, including administering multiple oral medications, insulin injections, and providing extra support for aging dogs with changing mobility and health needs. I also have experience giving medication to cats and caring for puppies. In addition to domestic pet care, I worked at a wildlife rescue center where I assisted with first aid, fluid administration, and hands-on care for injured animals. That experience strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and compassionate in high-stress situations. I work 40h each week Monday through Friday, so I am mainly available on the weekends only for now. I am getting married in a year & have 2 degrees, so I have both debt and savings to add to. I am hoping to help care for pets & put every cent earned on Rover towards my debt In my home, I have a full house of 2 dogs and 2 cats. They all get along great, but my senior dog, Daisy, doesn't get along with dogs that don't live with her. Therefore, my home is not available currently for pet sitting, but I am familiar with pet sitting for others in their homes in order to assure their pets feel safe. In my home, I feed 2x/day in an 8 hour period and walk my dogs every 3-4 hours. When it comes to other people's pets, I am open to whatever care routine your animals are used to. No matter how many steps are involved, I can do anything you need done, and I will do it with a smile on my face. I will also respect any and all boundaries in your home and only go in the designated pet areas. I have had multiple people require I stay out of certain rooms, and it has never been an issue. I am deeply appreciative of the trust I am given when caring for pets, so I won't take it for granted by disrespecting your home or boundaries.
