About: Hello my name is Annamaria! I’m about to be a junior here at UW madison pursuing a career in nursing. I am very passionate about healthcare and quality patient care but I always loved animals! I have a lot of experience with dogs and a little with cats (though I am willing to learn). I have owned my dog for 17 years. She was a smaller dog but I also have experience with larger dogs from my step dad’s pitt mix who is now a senior. In addition I have done a lot of work at PAWs Chicago. I have clocked over 150 hours of volunteer service and fostered 14 dogs/puppies and 2 kittens. With fostering I have gained experience in potty training and giving medications of all kinds. With volunteering I have done a lot of dog and cat socialization and walks. Additionally in moving to level 2 volunteering I took a dog behavior class and gained experience in how to detect and react to rough and anxious behavior in pets. I also love going on walks especially in the summer so if you have a pet thats looking for some activity I’m your girl! I have also had experience with parakeets, hamsters, and guinea pigs (it was really easy to convince my mom to get new pets). As Summer approaches and classes our ending I’m looking at a lot of open availability starting May 16 to be flexible to owners needs. In my time volunteering I have seen that animals all have different personalities that can vary situation to situation so I really want to give your animals the space and patience to get to know me on their terms. Caring for my own animals at home incudes giving them the resources, love, and enrichment they need for a fulfilling day.

About: I have experience from dogs, cats, chickens, to reptiles since I was a kid. Definitely know how to be friendly to animals, read body language, and adapt. I routinely pet-sit my elderly neighbor’s tabby, my friend’s tortoiseshell cat and cocker spaniel, my boyfriend’s black lab, and my cousin’s scottish folds. I have been continuously contacted to play, walk, feed, and poop-scoop their pets and enjoy each others company. I am a recent graduate taking a gap year so my schedule is flexible. Plenty of time to play and take care of your pets. I follow and respect all given instructions. I also make it a point to reach out whenever there are concerns or to send some updates/pictures. I genuinely care about the well-being of your pets and respecting your time.

About: I have been dog, baby, and house sitting since I was 10 (~13 years). I have personally had a cat and 4 dogs throughout growing up and have taken diligent and loving care of them from walks/runs, veterinary care, to lots and lots of snuggles. I'm currently a student doing predominantly online classes, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to fit pet care into the routine. I also lead a very active lifestyle taking multiple walks/jogs throughout the day that would only be enhanced with a furry companion. I live in an apartment with no other pets and I have a very clean and safe indoor living area as well and could always crate him/her if needed.

About: I've spent most of my life around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family since high school. I have a soft spot for older pets, so I understand that they often need more attention, which I am happy to provide. Whether it's sticking to a routine, administering medication, or keeping company, I'm comfortable handing your pet's unique needs. I currently don't have my own pet, but I'd love to care for yours! I'm currently a graduate student who is working from home for most of the summer, so I am available weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I love taking screen-time breaks throughout the day, and taking care of animals is a great way to do so. I treat every home visit with diligence and respect. I follow routines closely and make sure your animal(s) and home are secure before, during, and after my visit. I appreciate detailed instructions and will send updates as frequently as you'd like.

About: I grew up mostly around cats, however, a year and a half ago I adopted my first dog and fell in love. Since then I've discovered a passion for caring for animals and giving them the best and most fulfilled life that they can have. I recently lost both of my fur babies due to health issues out of my control so I have a gap in my heart and daily routine that I want to fill with caring for animals. I am currently a full-time student also working part-time, so my schedule changes slightly from week to week but that will not deter me from giving my full attention to your pets. I know my work schedule around 1-2 weeks in advance and my school schedule changes every semester. Whether you need someone to pop in for a little bit or stay for an evening, I am willing to work something out that fits both of our schedules! I am willing to care for your pets in any way needed and am open to learning new things and ways of doing things. I will take your dog on any length walk they need, play outside or inside, feeding, grooming, and just plain spending time with them. As of right now I am only open to providing care in your home, as I currently live with my parents.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since high school and have over 10 years of experience with pets of all kinds. I also started training service dogs in middle school, so I’m comfortable working with different temperaments and routines. I love making pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away! I’m currently a pharmacy student, so my schedule during the school year is structured and reliable. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting around classes and study time, and I enjoy having pets as company during quieter parts of the day. During the summer, I work but still maintain availability for pet care, especially evenings, weekends, and longer stays. I care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and able to stick to their normal routine. I always make sure pets feel safe, calm, and well cared for by following feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any house rules closely.

About: Our kids LOVE dogs, they pretty much live for them. We can't have our own right now, so we want to love on yours while you're away! We've owned our own dogs, and both of the adults grew up taking care of and loving dogs. We're happy to help reinforce any training that you're doing with your pup! We work during the week, but we can spend the weekend giving full-time care to your dog! We are open to watching your pup during the week, but they would be home alone from about 9am-4:30 pm. Just send me a message if you need longer care than the weekend and we can discuss details! We have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play fetch. We can offer plenty of outside time and bathroom breaks, we're happy to keep your pet on their typical schedule!

About: Hi! I’m currently a graduate student at UW–Madison and looking for some pet-sitting opportunities—especially with dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for about 6 years, primarily for friends, family, and referrals. Since moving to Madison last year, I’ve been excited to meet some new pups in the area! I grew up with Labradors and a Yorkie, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I really miss my dog back home, so I love any opportunity to spend time with furry friends here in Madison. Whether it’s walks, playtime, overnight stays, or cozy couch hangouts, I’ll treat your pets like my own. Weekends are generally preferred since I have the most availability then, but I’m also open to weekday opportunities if they can work around my class schedule, especially during the summer when my schedule is a bit more flexible. I’m also relatively new to Rover and currently working on building my clientele in the Madison area, so I’d love the opportunity to provide excellent care for your pets! 🐾 My weekends are when I have the largest availability as I am a full-time graduate student. Pet sitting Thursday-Sunday or Monday is my ideal timeline but I am definitely open to week long care if I am able to make it work with my class schedule. I would prefer to watch the dog in your home as I rent my current home and it does not allow animals. However, when at your home I will make sure your pup is always happy and all of their needs are met. In terms of safety, I will always have them on a leash or in a gated area when needed.

About: I am a dog, cat and pet lover. I will stop 10/10 times to pet a dog and learn about him or her. At the local park, I know most of the dogs by their names and ironically, few of the owners haha. I would love the opportunity to spend time with someone's best friend and help out! I am very attentive, detail oriented and careful with animals. I also know animals are more than "pets" they are just like family. I would be honored to help take care of someone's best friend for a few hours or days to help out. I offer a safe, secure space for someones pet as well as close access to a park and outdoor space. I am available for walks as well as for visits or assistance on Fridays and most weekends. I believe dogs help people just as much as people help dogs! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate pet parents and their schedules as needed. I am able to offer short or longer walks, pet sitting and other services as needed. In my home, I have a clear open space and am able to spend close time with my clients pets while they are in my care. We are just a short distance to a small park with plenty of outside walking options. We can sit and watch tv, play catch, or take naps.
