Care for special needs cats & dogs
I have extensive experience giving medications, be they liquid, pills, transdermal, or injections such as insulin. I am have experience with giving medications to both cats and dogs, but most of this experience is with cats (especially difficult ones who know what you’re trying to put in their food!) I have experience caring for cats with IBD, chronic kidney disease, upper respiratory infections, urinary diseases, and limited mobility. I have worked with animals most of my adult life - both domestic pets and primates - and therefore am very observant and conscious of your pet’s health and will pass along ANY observations or concerns I have about their behavior or health during my visits. I have several years of experience at the Dane County Humane Society (WI) as an advanced feline caretaker, able to care for the most fearful cats in a safe manner. I also spent two years at the Yakima Humane Society (WA) working with cats and both large and small dogs, including dogs who have not been leash-trained. I’ll make sure your dogs and cats get all the attention and play time they need while being mindful of your own training rules - e.g., if you do or don’t allow pets on the furniture, not encouraging jumping behaviors, etc.

My current apartment does not allow dogs so I am unable to offer boarding services at this time. In addition to caring for your pets, I’m always happy to water any plants, bring in any mail or packages, etc.

Rhiannon was professional and timely, and made sure to always send pictures so I felt like my baby was taken care of!
We had some initial hiccups with communication but otherwise Rhiannon did a great job taking care of my two fur babies. She sent lots of photos, which i appreciated, and my shy gals warmed up to her pretty quickly (always a good sign!) Overall a very positive experience for my first time using this app/service. Will definitely book with Rhiannon again!
We scheduled Rhiannon for a number of drop-in visits while we were on vacation, and WOW, she was an absolutely amazing fit. She sent us photo updates with each drop-in, gave our fuzzy little friends much-needed attention and playtime, and ensured our cat who had just undergone a tooth extraction was recovering well. We would definitely rebook Rhiannon for all our Rover needs in the future.
Rhiannon went above and beyond to take care of my cats. One has medical needs and she went to great lengths to help her.
Rhiannon catsitted for me for a week and was amazing! Rhiannon was reliable, sent cute updates and many photos. She clearly LOVES cats so you know your cat is in good hands!

Schedule
I am almost always in town for holidays. I work in research and sometimes have a variable daily schedule but am generally unavailable from around 7:15am to 2:30pm, although depending on the day I may not be available until 5 or 6pm. This does not apply to holidays or weekends, when I am generally available at any time. However, you can always ask! I can see if it’s a light day at work or a day I can work from home to see if we can work anything out.
