About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the lifelong experience and genuine love I have for animals. I grew up in a home full of dogs and have always been surrounded by pets, learning early on how to care for them with patience and attention. Today, I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I treat every pet like my own, with kindness, consistency, and a lot of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some extra playtime, I ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day to give your pets the attention and care they need. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday playtime, or an afternoon check-in, I’m able to provide consistent, dependable care. My background in teaching also means I’m organized, responsible, and great at following routines—qualities that translate well into attentive, loving pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, give walks or playtime, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention. I’m respectful of your home and any instructions you leave, whether it’s about medications, crate time, or favorite toys. If I were to offer care in my home, pets would have a calm, pet-friendly space and lots of companionship throughout the day. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away.

“Really appreciated Annie walking my sweet dog for me! She’s very trustworthy and great!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly consider them part of the family. I helped raise my dog Luna from a puppy and my family has had two senior dogs—one with seizures—so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups to handling health issues. I also had a senior cat who I loved dearly and cared for until the very end, which taught me so much about compassion and attentiveness. As a medical student, I bring a calm, reliable presence and close attention to detail. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I am a first year medical student, still learning the ropes of Madison and medical school, but hope to accept a few jobs on the side nearby to where I live. I can walk dogs, do drop in visits, and on occasion house sit depending on my school schedule. I am comfortable visiting and/or staying in a client’s home to care for their pets. During longer stays I will spend the night and be at the house as frequently as requested during the daytime.

“Jenny is wonderful! My puppy warmed up to her right away. She asked a lot of questions about him and came prepared with treats, poop bags, and water. She took him on a walk nearby and when they returned home he was all tired out. Thank you!”

About: My friends and neighbors are always asking me to continue to watch their animals when they are on vacation, I started at 15, I am 21. I also have experience with taking care of pets while babysitting. I am going for Occupational Therapy, as I am a very caring person which is why I would love to help out when people need care for their pets. I am currently a student at UW-Madison. I am able to work around my class schedule! Besides class, I am always free to take care of someone’s loved pet! I am great with making sure your pets get the time outside they deserve. I love being outside and going on walks. I will make sure your pet is fed, taken out, and given as many pets as they want!

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They ranged from puppies all the way to them becoming senior dogs, and they all came from very different backgrounds. I am especially good with senior dogs. My childhood dog eventually had severe arthritis and needed medication and some extra help. I would do anything for her that helped her feel more comfortable! I also puppysit for some family members so I am also used to the craziness a puppy can bring! I am currently available most days at any time until August 11. My cat does need medication at 8pm, but any other time of the day works for me! I can care for your pets however you need in your home! Whether it's going on a walk, playing outside, or staying inside, whatever is best for them is doable!

“Lydia was punctual, caring, and was clearly attentive to our dog Rupert!!! Thank you, Lydia!!!”

About: As a first-year veterinary student at UW–Madison, I bring a strong foundation in animal care from academic, professional, and personal experiences. In my childhood, I cared for a wide range of species including salamanders, mice, cats, dogs, and chickens. I’ve also provided pet-sitting services for friends and worked in veterinary boarding facilities, where I handled daily care tasks like feeding, walking, bathing, and medicating both cats and dogs. I am Fear Free Certified, meaning I’m trained to reduce stress and provide care that supports both the physical and emotional well-being of animals. My deep commitment to animal well-being and my comfort with both routine care and medical needs come from a lifelong love of animals and a sincere desire to treat every pet as if they were my own. As a veterinary student, my schedule can be busy, but I prioritize pet care because it’s truly one of the most rewarding parts of my week. I’m used to balancing responsibilities and am great at managing time, so I make sure pet care fits in smoothly, meaning early morning visits, evening check-ins, or weekend stays. During the summer and school breaks, I typically have more flexibility, and I'm happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet feels cared for and comfortable. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all. I always follow the pet’s established routines and respect any house rules or instructions provided. I take time to build trust with each animal, using a calm, gentle approach, especially with shy or nervous pets. I maintain a clean, secure environment by being mindful of doors, gates, and any hazards, and I keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior and well-being. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to ensure you feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have previously worked in veterinary medicine for three years. I am very comfortable administering prescription medications, pet first aid skills, and love to care for puppies, seniors and everyone in-between! I am a current college student home for the summer, and have a lot of availability to care for your fur baby! I’m a morning person in general, and am happy to be up spending time with your pet first thing, but can also do afternoon and evening care as well. I am very diligent in following directions provided by my clients, making sure that houses are locked up every time I leave, and that the space is kept clean. I scoop the litter boxes daily, will pick up the poop in your yard if it’s fenced in, and want to make sure both client and pet feel as comfortable as possible while I am caring for your pet!
